I'm always trying to save up for items on Mene that I want but I can never seem to get it because I always see something new that I end up buying in a heartbeat.
I'm currently saving up for a pair of glasses for my avi so she can look intellegent in her pjs with her books XD So far so good :3

Haha, and the worst part is that everything is relative. I just spent 10k on commons and I feel poor, even though I guess I have a lot of gold. It just depends on what you're questing for... xD;

I plan my avatars out so I tend to spend quite a bit at once. I buy just what I need for the avatar. Sometimes if I see a CI cheap in the market, I'll buy that instead of the commons I need but that's rare.

Currently I've been doing a lot of marketplacing for accessories, especially event items. I really want to save up for a particular item though!

Uh yeah, all the freaking time haha I can't help myself. It's sad because I'm like that alot with my real money too =/ I'm saving up now to change my name, which I'm excited about, to the point where I sold all of my items I wasn't useing, and am NOT spending it!!!!

Yup, I recently bought a maroon skit and socks to go with this avatar. I'm trying to save for a few major expensive and rare items. Though eventually I'll move onto commons so in the end technically I'm not really going off track. Gotta catch em' all! *hugs*

On other sites I'm pretty good at just saving and buying what I want, but I'm new here and earning gold is kind of slow, so I'm not sure what I'll do yet. ^_^

I still have over 10k worth of items sitting in my shopping card in the shops that I haven't gotten around to buying yet...one of these days I'd probably get sidetracked and just click the buy button. xD;

I was trying to save up a huge amount of gold to splurge on art for my main account, but I ended up wanting to clothe my avatar in something that looked good. I am now a little over 3.5k poorer (which to me is a lot) and I almost spent all of it on CIs in the marketplace. Oh well, I'll just have to make more! Haha.

@飛段 : I have a lot of commons taking up space in my inventory too, most of them I used maybe once and have since then been collecting dust.

Yeah. I even tried making some outfits out of those less-used items, but could never put together anything that I like. :headdesk:

I haven't changed my avatar for ages, other than changing the hair colour when the option to do that came in.
I used to be heavily into the item side of things, but now I'm just here for the conversations really.
I got so used to stopping myself from buying stuff, when I was trying to reach a personal gold-goal, that I've never really got out of that habit.
Which is probably bad. I should really check out the shops again at some point.

I'm saving up for Weather Forecast at the moment.. so when I got that urge to buy some new clothes to make a yellow avatar I had to pinch myself. *Bad Carzee, no buying!*

If there's an item I really want, I can usually stay on track to get it. xD But if I'm just trying to save up my gold to a high number, I end up blowing it before I can get there.

I do that all the time! I always say to myself. "Okay I'm going to buy this cuz it's awesome!" Then I do end up getting the money and buy an entire new outfit as I'm doing right now )x therefor wasting my money

Aww I saw my previous post from when I was saving up to change my name :) I've gotten a lot better about not blowing my goldies since having to save for that! I saved for a background that I JUST purchased this time :) I'm super excited!
