My grand daughters green with envy cause I got goldfish, but I won't get her any. She's way too flighty to take care of them.

I'm sorry your biggest and littlest fishies died...
But, in my past experience, goldfish were the "disposable pet" for most goldfish I owned didn't last long and were secretly replaced by clones....

I have been bitten by the "grow stuff" bug, but haven't yet found a desire to "garden"....but we are expecting snow today and next week...so, gardening is out...for now, anyway! !

"secretly replaced by clones" what an interesting thought!

"Secretly replaced by clones" = not having to explain why the fishy is floating on top of the water and not rushing to be fed...to a small child that already asks too many "why" questions! Lol!

I totally had garden fever last week.
I bought some seeds and a new window plot and I started packing in my soil and I put my seeds in and I watered them and I was so excited, then it was an incredibly sunny day out sometime last week so I said, "I'll put my little seedlings outside to soak up some sun".

Well, I put them outside and they soaked up lots of sun, then I took my sleeping pill early because I wanted to get my body ready for daylight savings, and I forgot my plants outside and then THERE WAS A FROST!!!! D:

And my poor seedlings got left out in the cold and now I think they won't grow. :C

And I am super disappointed and I'll keep watering them for a few days, but if they don't grow I'll just have to start over.

I sooooooo sympathize. I get crazy when the stores start putting out the garden stuff.

They haven't started promoting the gardening stuff at our local stores, yet...
Easter stuff and snow shovels...Oh...but they did pull the seeds kiosk out of the corner it had been hiding in!

We could get up to 7 inches of snow in the next 12 hours or so...

Ava, I hope some of your seedlings survived!
What kind of seeds did you plant?

My ex-husband used to bury his fish heads and entrails in the garden...near the corn...
He said that the Indians did it...
I saw no distinct improvement in the corn...and the fish never stank...so I never complained.

I may try some container gardening come May...mayyyybe!

I haven't been on much, just been busy doing real world over the hill hero stuff.
Things r coming along with our new used trailer.

I'm planning on planting tomatoes, peppers, and maybe some corn.

I have found that some plants are more resistant to a light frost than others...
I'm glad your seedlings survived, Ava! I am looking forward to hearing about their progress!

I have at least 4 inches of new snow on my porch right now...
No planting on this mountain, yet! Lol!

Hey, Capt....I'm happy to hear that the trailer is coming along!
Will we get to see some pics?
Remember to take your time and don't over-tax yourself...better to get a little done every day than to do a lot in 1 day and have to recuperate for 5!
(I know these things firsthand! Lol!) !

Whale, I've been busier than a truant officer at a escape artist school. Or a tuna offisher in a fish school. Ahhh, hahahahahahaha.

And here I sit, patient as a oyster waiting for the mobile home movers to come prep my trailer for the big, big! Move... About 6 miles.
A lot of the people in this business r kinda fishy.
But it's like they say. Never cast your pearls before fish lest they get wet. 😏😏😏😏
