I was thinking today about pc games I used to play when I was little, and only had the computer for my gaming needs. I used an old windows 98 computer. I want every one to remember some of those cool games we used to play on the computers, games we loved. So post about the games you played on the pc new and old.

I remeber playing Return to Krondor on the computer, it was so much fun my little sister would sit next to me on the computer and watch me play. I never got very far due to my lack of understanding the story of the game.

I also played alot of Diablo II online, and would talk in third person all the time just to get on peoples nerves. I would get tons of hack items and make dupes to give out to others.

I also enjoyed the Petz 4 games. I would surf the net trying to find new petz to download and add to my list. I would have cabbits, griffins, even chickens ^^. I would breed all kinds of crazy cats and dogs, it was so much fun I had to refind the game for my laptop.

I actually found Final Fantasy 7 at a Costco for pc, it was the first time I played a Final Fantasy game. Sad part was when I was little I kept putting in the install disk instead of the play disk. I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work, luckily I still have it to this day.

Baldur's Gate. *-* Haha.
There are soo many games that I would love to play that I cannot remember the name of and only remember vaguely. This saddens me. :I

I dunno if it counts but SkiiFree was amazing...

The Incredible Machine. OMG that game was so fun, it appealed to my artistic side so much when I was a kid, I'd always be inventing new ways to knock over the cat. I was so mean. XD Also Mechwarrior 2, I would play that for hours... just customizing mechs and such.

Fluffsamaprime: I think it was a Yeti. XD But yes.

Of course, Diablo! Can't believe I left that one out.
There was another game called Chip's Challenge that I would play a lot.
Aaand one that I really wish I could remember that my mom would play and I would fail at when she let me try... it was like... dungeon crawler/fantasy. Low graphic quality. Wish I could remember more. Twas fun.

Can't forget the Oregon Trail game, I remember nameing characters after friends and family and then later on being sad when some one died of disentary. when I'd start up a game I would put all my money into bullets so I could play the fun shooting game.

I miss all the old adventure games from Sierra and Lucasarts like Gabriel Knight, King's Quest, Leisure Suit Larry, Maniac Mansion, Monkey Island, Full Throttle, and the like. Thank goodness for emulation software that prevents these games from frazzling out whenever I do want to play them though. :)

Just skimmed through the comments but I don't think anyone has mentioned Dungeon Keeper that was like favorite game ever, I mean how can you not love the little imps and Horney the Reeper, although he normaly gets pissed off easily and attacks your own monsters, And I used to love slapping my Minions just for the hell of it.

Haha, someone else who has played Jill of the Jungle. That game was amazingly bad, but so good. xD

Theme Hospital, I loved that too and Elf Bowling. I miss being able to play most of these games.

I remember Balder's Gate.

I liked all the Myst games too.

There was one that I can't remember that was really spooky.
It was an adventure/mystery RPG type of game that had a lot of puzzles to solve.
The music was really spooky on it. I think there was a 7 in the title...
