Ever have a favorite song that you absolutely love, but then you look up more songs from the artist and the rest of them suck?
Seems to be happening to Sora lately and his examples are:
1. Marina and the Diamonds (Favorite song: is Oh No!)
2. Skillet (Favorite song: Hero)
so happen to anybody else?

Yes. This has happened to me quite a few times. D; The main case was with Wheatus. I adore the song Teenage Dirtbag, but the rest of their songs aren't worth listening to in my opinion.

Skillet's album isn't that bad. There's a few songs that I consider decent on there.
Yeah, I talk about it all the time with my friend. He's a DJ and always tells me to listen to something they just got in at the station then I'll go look up other stuff by the same artist and I'll tell them how much the rest of their stuff sucks.

I've had this problem with Modest Mouse, I've
listen to most of their albums and some of it
is just noise and screeching. But then they
have really good songs like The world at Large
and my favorite 3rd Planet. D;
I'm still listening to some of their albums
and finding some songs that I like once in a while.

This happens to me, too. I'll give any new-to-me song by any artist a try, even if it's just the first verse and see if it grows on me like a song I may like by that artist. Some songs stick while others don't. The ones I really hate by that artist I'll never listen to again unless I'm forced to. And anything with rap or a remake with rap by that same artist... Forget it. I'll completely stay away from those. Can't handle that!

That happens to me a lot, but for some reason I can't think of any situations. LOL. I think usually what happens is that I'll like 1-2 songs and that will be it.

This has happened to me a few times, an example I can think of is Sam Sparro and his song Black and Gold, which was also his first ever single. I thought it was an excellent song, very cool, and I thought 21st Century Life was ok too, so I went to listen to the album, and was very much disappointed in the remaining songs. :(

This happened to me not too long ago with Cee Lo Green's Forget you. I enjoy the catchy song but I just don't really like the rest of his songs that I then looked up.

This happens to me pretty often, too.
Even with some of my favorite bands, there are only a few songs that I really like, but I love those particular songs so much that it makes up for the fact that I never really listen to the rest of their albums.
The only example I can really think of at the moment is the band Domina Noctis. "Because the Night" has been one of my favorite songs for a few months now, but all the rest of their music that I've heard is just boring to me.

I'm not sure if anyone else agrees but i think Jason Mraz only has one good song (i'm yours)
I tried looking up the rest of his songs...but none of them "get'er done" for me...if you know what i mean
