Beatles vs. The Rolling Stones, which of these two classic rock bands are your favourite.

I'm not a fan of The Rolling Stones at all! Mick Jagger irks me something rotten. I do however, quite like the Beatles. I wouldn't class myself as a big fan, but I can listen to a few of their songs and enjoy them. (:

I'd say my favourite classic rock band would probably be Kiss, but they originated about a decade after the Beatles and The Rolling Stones. :lol:

Always and forever the Beatles. The Rolling Stones are pointless to me. Just can't get interested in their music.

Why do people constantly try to make people choose between two bands? I like them both so were's my option?

But its true... Well I like classic Rolling Stones. I think that Jagger really needs to retire, and especially retire the tight pants, but songs like "(I cant get no) Satisfaction" or "It's only Rock and roll" are classics! You just can't turn them down.

The Beatles are alright. Their music was good, their appearances were sh*t so they're just like every other classic rock band ^.^

I don't know why everyone hates on RS so much. They were as much of a Classic Rock icon as the Beatles. And both deserve their place in Histories Greatest Bands.

I grew up listening to The Beatles so I'd go with them. I never could get into the Rolling Stones. Even now when I try listening to their music. Just seems unnatural to me...
I also don't understand why people like to compare bands to each other either. I mean they may sound alike to some degree, I guess, but they're also quite different as well. Just have to listen for those differences before starting to compare.

This was a cruel question. Answering took painful amounts of consideration and thought.

After careful consideration, the Beatles won (I know so many people who would stone me for saying so). I simply don't think there ever was a time that I didn't listen to the Beatles. A Hard Day's Night and I Saw Her Standing There are pretty well burned into my soul and I can't keep from singing along to a Beatles classic. There is always a Beatles song to add to my joy or bring joy into upsetting situations. Let it Be is my ultimate chill out song.

I'm a huge fan of the oldies but The Rolling Stones are one of the few bands I really don't care for. Beatles hands down.
