Has there ever been a game that you liked more simply because of the music within the game? I loved Super Adventure Island on the Super Nintendo much more than I would have if it would have had a different soundtrack. It had some great music on it for what time period it came out in.

Soundtrack for Jak X. That just seemed to complete the game for me, if that makes any kind of sense. Though the music from the Jak games in general is pretty decent to be honest.

I loved the music from the Final Fantasy series'. Still do actually. They sound really well composed most of the time, and help to add atmosphere to the games. :)

Tekken 2 and 3 music, especially Nina William's.
Then almost every Dead or Alive Theme from Helena Douglas as well as the other characters.

Love game/anime music.

I've never even played this game, yet I love it just for the music. The above is my personal favorite.

I love Zelda music :3 One of my favorites would definitely be The Song Of Storms :3 Makes a good dub mix, too lol <3
Midna's Lament from Twilight Princess would also be one of my favorites~

Pokemon black and white soundtrack is epic! sure the storyline is great and the pokemon suck, but the music is awesome.

The Jet Set Radio Future sountrack is really good. Probably the best soundtrack for a game I ever heard.

I absolutely love video game music, have a big collection of it and I listen to it all the time.
Here's a small list of games/series with music I love.
Metroid
Zelda, Majora's Mask in particular
Mass Effect
Warcraft
Portal

Not only do I love the originals of these songs, but all of the remixes of them too.
There nothing like some Metroid Metal to put me in a good mood.

i love grand turismo's soundtrack.
if i have it playing in the car i find myself speeding a little.
do you think if i get pulled over i can get out of the ticket by telling the police officer i was jammin' to grand turismo?

I will always have a soft spot for Final Fantasy X and most of it's music. :) I love the music for Portal and Portal 2 with the credits songs being my favorite (of course!) :) .

Just got one thing to say: Turret Opera. The three-disc soundtrack is also completely available for free.

Also the best sonic soundtracks are either the Sonic Adventure games, or sega genesis stuff.

I escpecially love the sims 3 soundtrack, i mean i like the sims regardless, but they always have an excellent music selection on the sims.
One time i absolutly fell in love with a song on this video game called destroy all humans 2. Most of the soundtrack music was from the 60`s since th game was based in the 60`s.

I legitimately enjoyed all of the music from Midnight Club Three the DUB Edition Remix. Every now and then I would just pull out my favorite car and cruise around to listen to the songs.

I love the music for Silent Hill 2, it's just so perfect and creepy.

I also love the Tales of Symphonia soundtrack. . .

Akira Yamaoka is an excellent composer. Plus, the Final Fantasy soundtrack is awesome. I love how they added Leona Lewis's song in 13. It's such a nice song.

Final fantasy 8 has the best soundtrack out of the final fantasy series and i think is also the best final fantasy game they ever did.

I've always loved the music for Sonic the Hedgehog games. Not very good at playing them really, especially the newer ones, but I love the music for them. I always get the Green Hill Zone theme in my head just 'cause it's one of my favourites.
