Bio: Lets just say it was a bloody bloody past and wasn't fun. But she managed to stay positive and now that she is free she had joined the Night Raid the moment that she could. Now she is one of the most feared killers around, most of the people have taken up calling her the Reaper.

Name: Alexander McMellan

Teigu: Aegis and Bloodthirster - Normally, Teigu are separated, and only used one at a time. However, Aegis and Bloodthirster were designed to be combined, and have the perfect soldier. The Impenetrable Shield Aegis represents the soldier's will to defend, while Bloodthirster represents the soldier's will to kill his enemies.

Aegis abilities: Besides being an unbreakable shield, Aegis can stop almost any attack from penetrating. It also has the ability to reach into an enemy's mind, and show them their greatest fear.

Bloodthirster: Bloodthirster's abilities are far more brutal, and difficult to define. The sword itself, besides being able to almost effortlessly penetrate any non-Teigu armor, "feeds" off of the blood of both friend and foe alike, in order to empower the user.

Bio: Alexander came upon his Teigu by accident ironically enough. He discovered them on the corpse of an enemy soldier after fighting in a massive battle to the north. Since then, he's been doing his best to defend the Empire he believes in from Rebels and Night Raid alike.

Piper smiled as she headed into the capital and pulled her hood up. She didn't need anyone noticing her and with how long the cloak was it hid her scythe very well. For anyone around it would just look as if she had a staff or something. IN this kind of capital you needed something to protect yourself. But today she was on a mission and that was to go and kill a certain little girl who had a taste for innocent blood. But having a job didn't mean she couldn't enjoy herself. SO she headed over to one of her favorite stands and ordered some meat. Humming as she waited, she wondered if anything exciting would happen today. Lately things between the capital and the Night Raids were slow, a few jobs here and there but nothing very serious except for planning what would be happening. She just hoped that if something exciting happened it would be a good exciting, like meeting a friend or getting good news or something like that.

With a sigh, Alexander left the Jagers base of operations. While everybody else was out protecting some minister, he'd been ordered to stay behind and protect some girl. Apparently, there was word that the rebels wanted to kill her for some reason. Alexander assumed that it was because her father was one of the higher ups in nobility. Alexander frowned as he knocked on the door. "Who could kill children just to harm their father?" he mumbled to himself.

It wasn't long before a servant opened the door to let him in, and in even less time his ward was escorted to him. After the pleasantries, Alexander got suited up in his armor, and followed his ward as she took to the streets on a shopping expedition.

Piper smiled a she got her two cones filled with ice cream. Licking her lips she started to eat the one right away but stopped when she saw someone. It was the girl and she looked as happy as could be. It was probably due to the guy that was following her around, he looked kind of tough. Slowly moving closer to them, she noticed his weapons of choice, a sword and shield. He would be tough if she tried to take them on right now but smiled as she got a idea. Holding her ice cream, she started to walk towards them as she ate her ice cream, looking completely care free and for the most part was. Yet as she got close to him, she ran into the man, splattering her ice cream all over him. Looking at the ice cream that covered his chest, she freaked, "I am so so so so sorry, I didn't see you there... I was just so caught up in eating it and getting to the bakery... I am so sorry." she said as she freaked out or at least acted like it.

Frowning slightly, Alexander wiped the ice cream off of his armor. Glancing up, he saw that the girl looked terrified. Sighing, he thought to himself, It's sad. She's actually afraid I'll kill her because she accidentally bumped into me.... What have those guards been doing?. Smiling, he said to her, don't worry about it. You didn't mean to." An uneasy feeling came over him though, and he pulled out his purse. After a quick check showed that she wasn't a pick-pocket, he pulled out a few coins and handed them to her, saying, "Here you go. Why don't you get yourself a new cone?"

Piper waited to see what he would do but instead of yelling that most guards would do she felt coins being put into her hands. Looking down at the coins, a slow smile spread across her lips, "thank you thank you thank you. This means so much to me, but before I can go get a new cone I need to do something." she said as she slid the money into her pocket. Placing a hand on her Charon, she suddenly seemed to disappear and moved straight towards the girl he had been. She was her target, a murderous little girl who got kicks out of torturing little kids, treating them like dolls. But soon she would be dead, she would be cut in half and no one else would have to suffer from her.

Alexander stared blankly at the girl for a second or two, before his instincts kicked in. "Stop!" He screamed at her, drawing Bloodthirster. He raised Aegis, and charged. Despite his swift reaction time, despite all of his years as a soldier, and despite his adrenaline fueled charge, it quickly became apparent that he wouldn't be able to catch the girl in time to save the minister's daughter. However, he would be able to get there in time to avenge her. With that, Alexander let loose a bloodthirsty battle cry, and redouble his speed. His focus narrowed, until all he was aware of was the girls black cloak. And slowly, it grwe closer, soon, he'd be close enough to strike. And then Justice would be served.

Piper watched as her scythe cut through the girl like butter, putting her in two nice equal half's. She was going to admire her work, check out how she could of done it better, until she heard a scream and turned to see the guard from before. Frowning, she moved with inhuman like speed and side stepped him easily. "look, I am not after you, she was my target. Now I would really like to go and get ice cream, so can we just part as enemies or something?" she asked as she looked at him. She really just wanted to go to the other side of town and grab ice cream on the way home. The murder she had just committed not affecting her at all. She then sighed as she looked at him, "I will kill you if you make me, then I will go get my ice cream." she said simply, as if the ice cream was the only thing that mattered to her right now, not fighting, not drawing blood or anything else.

Alexander's face became emotionless like stone. "No." He said simpley, and smashed her with Aegis, making a satisfying "bong" noise.

Piper frowned when she heard him and landed on the ground when he smashed her with the shield. Sitting up, she glared at him slightly, "that wasn't nice." and with that her eyes looked different. Getting to her feet she then dashed at him, her scythe ready as she charged. ONce he was in her range, she made a arc with her scythe and clearly got behind his shield where he was defenseless. she then waited for the familiar sound of her blade cutting into skin. You could then heard the people, the few that were left, whispering. What they spoke was clear to anyone and it was The Reaper was here. To most people that was a clear indication to run, she was known for getting her kills and no one knew who she ever was.

Alexander saw her swing her scythe, and quickly traced it's arc. Instead of trying to block the blade, which he'd be unable to do anyway with the time and range, instead, he bashed his shield forward, and hit the staff of the scythe. As soon as he felt his shield connect, he swung his sword up and right, where, if she didn't bock it, it would connect in her lower abdomen, and then travel up towards her sternum.

Piper cursed when she felt his shield connect with her scythe and instantly knew that he was going to swing with his sword. She didn't dare drop her scythe and she couldn't block right away. SO she smiled and the unmistakable sound of a sword cutting into flesh sounded. But it wasn't pipers, it was the girl that she had just killed, half of her body was blocking the sword from her. It gave piper enough time to jump away from him and smirked, "sorry, I am not that easy to kill." she said and then charged at him while the half of the girl grabbed ahold of his arm so that he couldn't swing her sword. Yet as she charged, she squealed. THe next thing you saw was her in a alley. "I have never seen one before. oh god it is so cute, I just love it." she said as she hugged the kitten close to her. She then turned to the guard and held up the kitten, "this is a dog, right?"

Alexander struggled against the little girls body for a while, before he could finally free his arm. He raised Aegis in a defensive position, and Bloodthirster ready to strike, when he noticed that his opponent wasn't even there. In fact, was was in a nearby alley, screaming something about dogs while holding a kitten. Shaking his head, Alexander took this as a trap, and he carefully started advancing, making sure Aegis was between them. It was when he got within ten feet he realized that she was serious. Stunned, he said. "Umm.... That's a kitten....." He felt a chill run down his spine. He hated to fight crazies.... you could never predict what they would do next.

Piper held the kitten and looked at this, "so this is a kitten, they are exactly like how they described dogs." she said and smiled as it started to purr in her arms. Smiling, she started to stroke it's head, she then looked towards the guard. "they said that dogs were small, furry and hat tails like this. I only ever heard the name of a kitten, never what it looked like. But it looks cute." she said happily. She then heard the dig of the town clock tower and turned to it. Seeing the time, she frowned and turned to him, "well it was fun, but I have to get going, maybe we can continue this fight some other time. Right now I have to get going, If I don't go now I might not be able to get my ice cream before I have to go home." she said and then started to walk away from him, keeping the cat in her arms and stroking its head absently as she hummed softly.

Alexander narrowed his eyes, and advanced again. "Are you serious? You just walk up, and slaughter some girl in the middle of the street, and all you can think of is kittens and ice cream? The fuck is wrong with you?" He was seriously angry. He could understand killing on the battlefield, heck, he could even understand murder. But this was something else entirely. This was..... wrong. He allowed his anger to flow into Bloodthirster, which began to glow red. Screaming again, he charged her, wanting to eliminate her particular brand of evil from the world forever.

Piper smiled and hummed as she continued to walk and turned to look at him, "well yeah, killing isn't a big deal, it is just part of what I have to do. Now getting ice cream is the big deal, I hardly ever get to have it." she said and then watched as he started to charge. Frowning, sHe grabbed ahold of her scythe and instead of charging back at him, she ran. With blinding speed she seemed to disappear from the crowd before him and was gone. ONce she stopped running she was clear to the other side of town, which was perfect for her. Heading over to one of the stands, she bought her ice cream and then started to head out of town and back to home base.

For several hours after the cloaked girl disappeared, Alexander still searched. Finally, however, he was forced to admit defeat. On the way back to the Jager headquarters, a terrifying thought burst through his mulling about the strange girl. Esdese would be mad.... Terrified, Alexander stopped. She might even go to torture level C..... Gulping heavily, Alexander put on a stoic face, and marched through the doors, facing his fate as best as he could......

A few hours later, Esdesse caught him, and promptly stopped his escape attempt. She upgraded him to torture level C+

It was a long night.

Piper smiled as she got back to head quarters and gave her report. No one was surprised that she had done her task with such ease, what they were surprised about the guard. It was clear to anyone that he was well trained and would possibly be a problem. But for now that was all the assignments that they had for her. So she headed her to bedroom, which wasn't much. She couldn't stand sleeping on a bed, it was to comfortable. So she had taken up sleeping under her bed, curled up like a dog. When morning came, she headed out to the capital. She was doing some searching and possibly seeing if anyone wanted her to kill anyone. Yet after a few hours of being there no one wanted her to do anything. OS she headed into one of her favorite restaurants and started to order one of everything on the menu.

Alexander grimaced as he walked in the door to one of his favorite restaurants. Last night had been long a grueling. If fact, he'd walked in as a bit of a pick me up. Taking a few step in, he allowed a large grin to cross his face. As a regular there, members of the staff greeted him kindly. It wasn't too long before he noticed a cute young girl. Walking up to her table, he indicated the chair across from her, asked, "Do you mind?"

Piper had just gotten her first plate of food and was about to dig into it when she heard a voice. Looking up, she saw the guard from earlier but he didn't have his sword out, which meant that their was no harm in it. She then nodded and smiled, "go ahead, as long as you don't touch my food it is okay." she said and then was about to bite into the steak she had ordered but stopped herself. It looked like she had to remind herself to put the napkin in her lap and take ahold of the fork and knife. She then started to but into it and smiled happily as she ate it.

Alexander smiled and sat down across from her, saying, "Thanks." Waving a waitress over, he noticed how careful the girl was about using a napkin, but said nothing. After ordering his lunch, a bowl of ramen, he turned back to her and asked, "So what's your name young lady?"

Piper had just finished off her steak which had taken longer since she was trying to use some table manners. But then ehr burger was up and she was about to take a bite when she heard him. Looking over at him, she smield, "oh I am piper, piper McClean. What is your name?" she asked before taking a bite out of her burger.

Smiling at her behavior, he replied, "Alexander. Pleased to meet you." He sat there awkwardly as silince passed between the two of them, before attempting to start another conversation. "So what do you do piper?"

Piper looked over at him as she finished off her burger, "well you could say I do odd jobs here and there." she said as she looked at him. She then sighed as she saw some people head inside, some hand guns and by the looks of it they weren't friendly. "looks like we are going to get robbed, and right when I was starting to relax." she said softly and listened as the one guy started to roar about how everyone should hand over their valuables.
