Hi!

The moniker's Sanyu, and I stumbled upon this place through Google trying to find an avatar community that isn't what I will name. You probably know which one I'm referring to.

I'm on dA as well, but am more of an artisan rather than an artist...meaning while I occasionally do draw, I prefer crafts. I love paper crafting. Currently I'm into scrapbooking and will try out my shiny new origami kit sometime soon.

Shizun and Ciely are my feathered companions, budgies to be exact. I've been around domesticated birds since I was small.

I tried paper craft, but my hands are too clumsy for it. :sweat: So I mostly just stick to the good ol' fashioned pencil and paper drawing...

I used to have a couple of those little parakeets as pets, but they died a few years ago. :( Now it's just my guinea pig, Nibbler.

I've never done scrapbooking before, but I would like to try it. I'm quite into sewing at the moment. I've began making a patchwork quilt. I would like to learn knitting though. C: I have a DA too, though I never really go on it any more. I use Tumblr more now.

I'm terrified of birds. :gonk:

@Antagonist: Doing any form of art is wonderful. :D Aww your budgies. In elementary school, my class had to take care of a guinea pig. ^^ I think her name was Princess.

@Bucket: I started to scrapbook last year, and I enjoy it immensely if I'm doing it with others like my mother or friends. You sew? Awesome! I want to sew too. ^.^ I even bought a doll that looks like one of my characters, so I can practise making clothes for her. Teehee. It's okay, I'm afraid of spiders. I have a cousin who is scared of birds, so don't feel bad. :)
