A question for you all. It was asked a long time ago but it's been quite some.

What would you do if you were the opposite gender for a day?

A week?

Permanently?

Make sure to keep it clean all as there are children on here :)

Considering I pass for both male and female I just would do what I normally do.

If I was a woman for a day...I would try and understand women from a mans point of view better.

Well, I'd panic. And then I'd probably try to find some clothes that fit.
At some point I would shower, because curiosity.
I would also probably try and get laid, because curiosity.

For a week, same basic story

Permenantly? I'd work out getting changed back, because I identify as female, and I DON'T WANT TO HAVE BOY PARTS FOREVER.

If I were a Dude for a day (since I couldnt imagine having a *bleep* for more than twenty four hours)
I would *bleep* my boyfriend, cause he honestly enjoys it, and then I would be able to feel it also.
It would be interesting to know how it feels for him when we are doing stuff.
Then, Assuming I am an attractive male, I would really like to try my hand at hitting on straight women.

As well as know first hand what it is like to be "one of the guys". I hate being a girl and hanging out with a bunch of guys and always being singled out cause i am girl and not a "bro". Kinda sucky.

Hmm... I suppose running around topless and it being okay would be a new experience. I wouldnt mind trying that that one out. I wouldn't, however, want to use the mens restroom. I hear weird things from my BF about 'em. Not my thing. Also I would have a hard time following the "no looking" rule. Curiosity killed the cat.

Hmm... I can't think of anything else. I would still be me, but in a different skin, and society would just look at me and treat me differently. No such thing as equality after all.

Then realize I have nothing to wear.
Inform my bf as to happened. Try to figure out a solution.
Once I know the solution, I would spend some time enjoying it. Not being looked at weird for being in a sports store or video game store. I would go shopping for bras -as a guy- for when I changed back, just for laughs. Running around topless would be fun.
But I would miss my position with my friends. I've always been one of the guys so to actually be a guy would just be weird.

If it were for a week.. I guess I might try shaving my face (wouldn't if it were only for a day - I'd still be too lazy!) and maybe I'd be able to convince my BF that it really is me and get to see what it's like to be a gay couple in society, holding hands and such. Or if he's not into me anymore, maybe I'd see if girls take interest in my looks. I don't think I'd try to get a relationship going though. I'm not interested in seeing THEM nor maintaining a relationship with a girl in that way. >.> It'd be quite a dilemma, in truth.
Since probably nobody would recognize me I could go about to various people that have cut me off (my best friend who won't talk to me anymore, ex boss, maybe a couple other past friends..) and get a glimpse of what they're doing with their lives without me. That'd be so fascinating and possibly infuriating.

If it were permanent, I'd shed manly tears and sob in manly voice.. because I like to be female and would be sad to have such an involuntary change in my identity this far along in life. If my current boyfriend can't deal with my new gender I probably wouldn't have the heart to try again with anyone else. I wouldn't know how to deal with sexuality at all. So I'd probably just do nothing in that category. I'd continue working (perhaps get paid more over time) and.. I really don't know. ;~; I hope it doesn't happen..!

Agreed that women think too much...and males are not that much stronger than females. In fact, I'm stronger than some natural males that I know...it depends on the person.

Not needing to squat and pee would be great. Other than that I couldn't care whether I have a vagina or a penis. Boobs ont he other hand I'd be more than glad to get rid of.

I would still wipe after I pee. Men need toilet paper by their public urinals! D:<

I guess I do understand that part about males not being particularly stronger than females but.. honestly just about everyone is stronger than me. I'd enjoy even a slight boost in physical ability for a day or few. ^^

Er.. er.. I agree with that. I guess I worded things poorly. It's true that it's not always the case that males are stronger, is what I was intending to say.
I suspect male-me would be stronger than female-me, just because of body differences.. but male me would most likely still be quite a lot weaker than many many females out there. I'm a small thing and would barely qualify as a Light Flyweight.. Agh, I'd probably still be a shrimp! ;3

I personally enjoy being a female, but the male attributes I'd take would definitely be that strength and easy muscle building ability, the taller height (I'd love being 5'9" or more), and then the loss of the period shit.

If I were suddenly to turn into a male for a day I have no idea what I'd do about it. I'd probably enjoy looking great without makeup (I look good without it now, but I'm a very femm female, so I feel like I'm not totally womanly without a little makeup going on). And like I said, the strength and such. I think I'd be pretty unhappy if I were to be permanently male, but I dunno. I'd have to see.

Me as a man? Masturbation. For sure. First, second, and probably third thing. (I definitely have penis envy, although I like my own package too.) I would really like to sex up my boyfriend too, but he's not really into that.

I could borrow some of his clothes for going out. I'd definitely spend some time topless and secretly fume about that particular double standard.

Other than that, I would probably spend a lot of time out and about, to see how people respond differently to me. I'm really interested in sex and gender and how it effects experience (and what is actually different), so I would spend my time as a man exploring that as much as possible.

Oh, there would probably be some panic in there too, because holy crap, how did this happen and how long will it last. And if it lasted a long time, I think I would miss my lady-self. But if it was permanent, I would just adapt and be a gay dude. (Weeeeell, probably a bi dude actually. I would have to sex up a lady at least once.)
