Before I start I'll say that there are potential spoilers, I suppose. I don't intend to go into the actual media, but the fashion may portray something that others may not want to see. If I do go into the media, I'll put a spoiler bar and I invite others to do the same.

Noo, not which actor or actress is wearing what, but what their characters are wearing!

Wut you say, Iku?

What I'm talking about is the makeup, hair, and dress of movies, tv shows, plays, what have you~

I recently saw "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and there was something that Katniss wore that really caught my eye.
Dat cowl.

Now, I don't know how practical it is, but I really like it anyway!

I also really liked the look of one of her dresses.

Mostly the shoulder parts and her makeup.

So any styles in media that have caught your eye?

I loved the Catching Fire movie, did you? It was so well done and I can't fault it at all. The outfits were great and I agree, Katniss' makeup was so interesting. I may try to recreate the eye makeup!

Yes! I didn't read the books though so I have no means of really nitpicking at it between them.
If you do, take pictures and show us.

Oh my gosh, I was thinking the same thing when I saw Catching Fire on Sunday! "I really should be paying attention to the movie but BUT THAT GORGEOUS KNIT!"

I'm always heavily distracted by the wardrobes in Community, Parks and Recreation, and Elementary.

I actually follow a few tumblrs dedicated to finding the exact pieces worn by some of those characters and linking to where you can buy them, or cheaper alternatives.

Cherry posted what I was going to post. Minus the parks and rec, and Britta instead of Annie. Yup.

That knit was just really cool! Motivation to get past the beginning stages of knitting: yes.

That jacket Watson (that's her name in the show right? XD) is wearing is niiiice.

And oooh, those are some cozy outfits! I need to get a nice short cardigan.
(Lmao, apparently I'm into outerwear.)

That picture after Watson with the green cardi has a nice shirt too though.

Yep, Joan Watson. She seems to get most of her clothes from Rag and Bone.

Here's my favourite Britta sweater:

I wonder how much companies pay to have TV characters styled wearing their clothes.

Lmao!

Going to see The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug this weekend.
Don't know how much glammed outfits there will be, but I'll be on the lookout for anything.
For now I can ogle at Thranduil's crown.

Actually it reminds me of the Game of Thrones throne from the tv series! XDD

OMG Thranduil. I really can't wait to see more of him in the second movie. It'll probably be a few weeks before I get a chance to go see it in theaters though...

Lmfao Bigs! His character was more interesting than I thought it would be so he was interesting for me.

I saw some movies recently uh.. Anchorman 3 and... American Hustle. Nothing really caught my eye in either of them as appealing for me, but I remember one dress in American Hustle. Amy Adams's character was wearing it and the part in the middle, the slit or what have you, went waaay down. I half expected to see her bellybutton.
