Curiosity got the best of me and I just took a look at WO. Such a strange looking game/community...methinks I might give it a whirl, see if I like it or not.

It is a weird community/game indeed. Is it like zOMG? I mean, is it a hybrid of a MMORPG and an avatar hangout? I am already a Net junkie and can't risk getting hooked up on another game, however. It's bad enough with me as it is!

Almost gave it a go when I realized it required download and installation. I don't download games. So no thank you.

I already have a few download games (Tera, Perfect World International, & a few RPG Maker games) or I'd try this out. Maybe at a later date.

My mom actually got me into playing that a few years ago. She was a far bigger addict than I, but I did have fun. It's hard to do quests without help, but i liked that it was sort of reminiscent to the old school video game RPGs. I stopped playing however when I got hacked or something, still not sure what happened exactly. No one could help me and I couldn't get back on.

The idea of it is pretty interesting, and you can make your own weapons, armor, items, et cetera. Not sure how much has changed over the couple years I've stopped playing and my mom has moved on to World of Warcraft
