Personality:
Mirage comes across as emotionless. She rarely shows emotion to anyone, but most people say that she does have a nicer side to her. She keeps her distance from others, only being close during missions she will interact. However, no one has ever heard her voice which has lead most of the cadets and teachers believe that she is a mute. Despite this, Mirage is very kind, gentle, clever and a bit stubborn. She is also protective of her teammates and has a "sixth sense" when it comes to the equipment.

The only reason Mirage doesn't speak is due to her being soft spoken and terribly shy around other people besides her older brother. She is a bit insecure since she has two different colored eyes and fears that she will be picked on for it.

Personal Bio:
Mirage and her brother, Salem, are full of mystery. The two are brother and sister and they were very different, however they never seem to argue. Mirage lives alone, her brother is in the Survey Corps so he was never home with her. Many of the mothers would never approve of their children alone. But one has not once seen Mirage and Salem's mother and father. All everyone knows is the Survey Corps returned one day from Titan Country and they had The two children with them. Both were sickly, starving and almost antisocial. So far, all they knew was the young children had been out there for what appeared to be most of their life. What they did find strange is the fact, both children had been branded, the upper left shoulder for Salem and the center of the chest for Mirage. When asked what they were for, they never answered. Mirage and Salem were soon placed into foster care and taken by a small family.

Mirage never really left her brother's side until he joined the training camp when she was 7. After that, Mirage somewhat distant herself from her foster family and they couldn't blame her, she and her brother were very close. However, as time went by, Mirage would slowly open up and talk with her family more. Asking questions about her and Salem's life outside the walls. She said that she could never remember what happened, but she does know that she and her brother were running from titans if they were found. Mirage also explained that she and her brother are orientals, a French father and an African mother. Of course, this worried her foster family, orientals were precious to slavers, considered exotic. They made sure Mirage was home at a decent time so she wouldn't get snatched up. She had accepted the curfew, she knew it was for her safety and she would whether be save than sorry.

However, she never explained after that. She just enjoyed her time with the foster family. She never even told them about the secret to the symbol in her right eye, she always felt it covered, by orders from Salem. There is a dark secret within the Ibori de La Favre family, the secret is once almost second or third generation, someone is born with the ability of a titan shifter. This rare trait is unfortunately within Hollow. Salem and Hollow know of this secret and plan to keep it like that. Ever once in a while, after Salem graduated from the Training Camp and joined the Military Police, he would go and visit his little sister. This would continue for the next several months until Salem told Hollow he won't be able to come over as much since he was changing from Military Police to the Survey Corps. At first, Hollow was against it, she didn't want to hear that Salem was killed. But he was going to do it regardless, so she accepted it and had remained with the family for the time being. She had come to accept her brother's choice of career and has no problem with it. Hollow would continue to live with her foster family in Shinganshina, sometimes staying away from people outside her family.

However, it turned into a nightmare, one day the titans had breached the wall. They started crawling through the hole created by the Colossal Titan. Mirage wasn't home when the titans started attack and she knew that she had to make it home and just hope that her family is alive...

Mirage wears an eyepatch over her right eye due to the symbol residing in it. Because of this, Mirage has avoided people in Shiganshina as well as the children. She has a habit to sing to herself and this often happens when she is in public places. The symbol for her family is branded in the center of her chest. In her titan form, her hair is black and the branded family emblem on her chest. Her hair is long because within the Ibori family, the females aren't allowed to cut the hair on their head believing that it brings luck and prosperity; because of this, Mirage won't cut her hair.

Personality:
Salem is the opposite of Mirage. He is outgoing, a bit cocky and often considered a jackass. However, he is actually kind and friendly to everyone. The only time he is a jackass is on the field when a titan has brought harm to his friends and teammates. He takes pride in his team and believes anyone can excel if they put their mind to it. He can be blunt at times as well as a little hot head but to those who know him, he is just being himself, The Jokester.

Salem is very protective of his friends and younger sister. He gets jealous easily when he sees another man near his sister since he couldn't be with her for most of her life. He values his sister's life more than his and is more than happy to sacrifice himself to the Titans just to protect her as well as his friends. He is not ashamed to speak his mind and laugh at what he says. However, he is still a gentleman and he won't harm a female.

Personal Bio:
Salem is a ball of mystery to his comrades. He never talks about himself and refrains from the topic. All everyone knows is the Survey Corps found him and his sister when he was 11. This could mean they were part of Shiganshina and their parents took them outside of the walls, however that theory was terminated when Salem and Mirage had no idea what Shiganshina really was. So their lives are a literal mystery, however, all will be revealed soon.

Like Mirage, Salem is an oriental. His father was French while his mother was African. Since they lived outside of the walls, life was very tough. Once Salem was old enough, he was branded with that mark of his family. It was placed on his upper left shoulder as a permanent reminded of who he is. Around this time, they were on the move, they weren't far from their destination and things would have ran smoothly if it weren't for the fact titans were everywhere. For his child years, he learned quickly, never to make a sound and always stay close, never stray.

Soon, his role would be moved up from only child to older brother, at the age of 8, Mirage was born. Life was hard taking care of a baby in a Titan infested land, be it proved easy when Mirage almost never cried and always stayed quiet. Salem watched his little sister as this parents went out and got food, which was normally whatever they could find without getting caught. However, months after branding Mirage and going out to get food, they never came back. Fearing the worse, Salem took Mirage with him to find them, only to find a bloody mess. Salem was horrified and wanted revenge, but he had to take care of Mirage, no matter the cost. He would wander at night and hide during the day, it was easier for them and they had to be getting close; thankfully, luck was on their side.

At the age of 11, Salem and Mirage were found by the Survey Corp and quickly taken to a doctor were they were put back to health. When asked what happened, all Salem could say was the titans ate their parents. They were placed in foster care and taken in by a small family were they lived normal lives from fear of the titans and losing his sister. Once Salem turned 15, he joined to the Training Camp in order to keep his promise toward his sister. He joined and graduated within three years, joining the Military Police for almost a year and a half. After he was done with that, he asked to be switched to Survey Corps. However, this meant he wasn't going to be able to see Mirage as much. He took that chance and he became a very powerful scout. He was like a ghost almost, taking care of the titans with a lot of anger. Every once in a while, he would receive a letter from Mirage, explaining how the foster family was actually helping her hide from looters.

Unfortunately, when he had received word that Shiganshina was attacked by titans, the first person who came to mind was his beloved sister Mirage. He was within Wall Maria when he got the word and the first thing he did was leave and run rode straight to Shiganshina with his gear and endurance to rescue those who are in near of it. But he won't stop until he finds Mirage...dead or alive.

Salem's eyes are said to glow a faint purple, however it was just the light of the sun hitting his eyes. Salem also has the symbol of his family branded on his upper right arm, he keeps it covered with the sleeves of his clothes. Salem knows Mirage can turn into a titan and tries his best to keep it a secret. However, he also has to keep the fact he has part of the titan healing ability a secret.

Military Regiment: Cadet Graduate, going into the Survey Corps

Personality: Vienna is a free spirit at heart, driven primarily by wanderlust and curiosity. She’s loyal to those close to her, but otherwise friendly to most other people she meets. Vienna is eager to volunteer for new experiences and open to learning at all times, but sometimes succumbs to her stubborn side. Due to her love of freedom, she sometimes feels contempt towards authority figures, though she is loyal to those with her respect.

Personal Bio: When her single father that she adored died as a member of the Survey Corps, not long before the fall of Shiganshina, Vienna and her little sister were relocated to living with her paranoid uncle along the border of Trost. She almost immediately made the decision to leave his home and enter cadet training, feeling restless within the walls that they lived so near to and driven mad by the constant fearful murmurs her uncle spouted. She regretted leaving her sister behind, but she was always determined to enter the Survey Corps to maintain the adventurous lifestyle her father was able to lead, and hopefully live up to her name by becoming as skilled as he had been.

While she does have a sometimes-crippling fear that sister will fall into harm’s way due to Titan activity, she is more or less fearless of herself being among those that face the gruesome creatures. She is driven by determination, and assisted by her good athletic and fighting abilities, though her lack of patience and sometimes reckless nature gained her criticism in training. Now, ready to plunge into the action, Vienna has been more excitable than ever to graduate and fulfill the role she’s chosen for herself.

Family: Her father died as a member of the Survey Corps, but her little sister and uncle live safely for now.

Hometown: Trost District, south of Wall Rose

Likes: exploring, tree-climbing, doodling, being surrounded by nature, going on runs

Personality: Jasper prefers to be alone in his spare time, but works well in a team on the field due to his fighting skill and clear communication. Off the field, however, he doesn't tend to get along too well with other people. He can be sarcastic and too straightforward with his thoughts, which he doesn't always realize may upset others. Once he does get to know someone, he can be likable, but he doesn't often get close to others. He is, however, loyal to the cause of the Survey Corps.

Personal Bio: His parents raised him to be as ignorant of titans as possible, but once he began to learn of them at school, things changed. His parents' attempts to ignore their existence themselves made him sick, and their pushing of him to live successfully within the walls pushed him away. Disgusted at the idea of living in comfort while gruesome beasts roam the rest of the earth, Jasper made the decision at a young age that he would become a member of the Survey Corps to have a first hand in taking care of them, much to his parents' dismay. Ever since he became fixated on it as a teen, they began to deliver him a stiff, cold shoulder. He spent much of his time alone before training, learning of titans and training his body for his future.

Family: He is an only child, with both living parents.

Personality:
Yukio lives up to his name of being a man of snow. He has an icy exterior, coming off as cold and unapproachable. He is seemingly all business and formal most of the time, especially wien in the presence of others. Yukio is quieter by nature most of the time, but he is one to speak his mind if he wants to. This causes him to be bold and blunt, he is unafraid to do or say what needs to be done. He is a man who pushes and challenges himself, constantly demanding the best of himself, and forcing his limits to get stronger and better. He at times is known to look down at others, he is colder and even darker to those he deams as below him or discraceful. He has incredible patience, people often amazed at how calm and collected he can remain in situations and in battle.

He is not one usually to be easily angered. He is an intellectual man, a man of the mind. He believes in sharpening the mind as well as the body. He is also one to be strict with himself, taking excellent care of his body. He prefers to work more on his own, and often does not speak a lot in battle. He finds working in teams more difficult, depending on who he is with. He is a man of class and style, and though he does not mind getting dirty if he has to, he prefers not to stay dirty for to long if he can avoid it. He is cunning and quick witted, which leads back to him being a man of the mind. He is able to think on his feet then react with impressive skill. He is often said to have a mind and a mouth that work faster than his heart, or to at times not have a heart at all.

He tends not to get emotionally attatched, keeping work and his personal life separate. He understands both the good and bad in things, but also that the world is not always so black and white. A lot of the time, he comes off as being bored and uninterested in most things, so that to others it might seem that he views himself above them or everything. Contrary to his icy walls, he does have compassion. He is not so cold that he would allow someone to die purely for the sake of him not liking it. However, he is not one to coddle people or hold their hand. He believes a person must find their own strength and way, and that such over kindnesses only lead to people becoming weak and unable to do things for their selves.

His actual warmer side is rare, so that few actually know what it entails. It is there, but few get past the walls he keeps in place. It shows more when he is alone, though as soon as he is caught, the ice returns. He has a habit of doing random acts of kindness and warmth though that are so against what people see him as, that it leaves them shocked. Where as he is smart in many ways, he is also naive in others. He can often ask questions, some that some would see as embarassing or awkward, in a casual manner and expect a responce. He is highly mature for his age, and more serious in nature as well.

Personal Bio:
Yukio never knew his parents. He was orphaned at the age of three. With little else to go, he was turned over to an orphanage who bred people for the distinct purpose of grooming them for the military. From a young age, Yukio was raised to be a soldier. He had a strict upbringing, one that taught him to respect his elders and follow orders without a word. He did not have much of a life of his own, and does not like to talk about his past at all. He was a vassal for the government, raised to be a future defender of the humans.

He showed a high level of skill in tasks that required his mind and body from a young age. He learned quickly, and completed tasks efficiently. If he got hurt or failed, he quickly found a way to assess and correct the situation, often never failing a second time. He spent a lot of his time training and getting stronger, so that when he was enlisted to actually begin full on training, he adapted quickly and excelled there as well. Being such a prodigy as a soldier, he enlisted in the Survey corps at the age of fifteen as one of the youngest able. He did not show a fear of death or dying, and his skill as well as his will to follow orders made him an asset. He has been designated as a squad leader, following the coming graduation of the new cadets.

Even though he is able to appear calm and collected on the outside as if nothing much bothers him, this is not true. He fears failure, in the sense that everyone who depends on him or is relying on him is killed because of him. He has a fear of letting others in, solely for the purpose of losing them. He has seen much death and destruction, and knows the job comes with such dangers, which makes him wary of getting close to people. He also has an odd fear of emotional situations. It is not so much of a fear, as in more of something he has trouble dealing with, which makes him often times avoid it or become unsettled.

Anything Extra:
He can almost always be seen wearing a pair of black gloves. He also is always wearing a chain, which has the emblem of the Survey Corps, as well as a metal charm that has a message written on both the front and back. It seems to be his most prized posession ironically, but no one knows why.

Aya does suffer from bipolor disorder, so she can be all hyped up then all depressed or even angry the next. Despite that, she is able to hold onto to relationships with her silly personality.

Fall semester for college has started! I will be able to get posts up in the early morning (hopefully), the afternoon, or on weekends and holidays. Mondays are my long day, so I may not post much if at all.

Personality: If you tried to describe Diana in one word, it would be intimidating. She has the ability to say a lot with her eyes (for instance, shut up.) which is handy since she doesn't talk a lot. When she does talk, she is extremely blunt and to the point. Rambling on isn't really her style, and she likes things done quick and efficently. Although not particularly shy, she doesn't speak often, and instead watches the people she's with closely.

Personal Bio: Diana lived with her parents and little sister happily until the fall of Shiganshina. Her younger sister, Emilie, died. Diana tried to get her parents to safety with her, but they were too shocked by Emilie's death to do anything. Diana refused to let the world stay the same way and not fight back in some way, so she left for the survey corps, leaving her parents behind. She hasn't spoken with them since the titans attacked.
