What movies or shows do you find to be rather tasteless and, for lack of a better word, stupid?
I've seen quite a few shows and movies that have met my distaste. For one, the Scary Movie movies are sort of just about random crud that seems too....I dunno know what to find them funny. I also don't get the Boondocks since it seems to portray African Americans in a backwoods light or something: I know I should probably be laughing, but I don't get what's so funny about what I'm seeing or hearing. As for Tyler Perry's stuff, kinda on the fence about that. It looks okay, but doesn't seem to gain enough of my interest to watch.

I'm the same way about Tyler Perry's works. I think I've seen two of his movies, Diary Of A Mad Black Woman and Family Reunion. Since I can't even remember the latter it probably wasn't very good. As for the former.. my favorite part was when Madea went into some man's house and went crazy. I think it was her granddaughters (I'm not sure) ex-husbands house. His show, on the other hand, looks flat out ridiculous.

I also hate any of the dating shows on TV. Like Dating In The Dark, what is with that?! And... Oh! National Security. I kind of like it.. but I also think it's one of the dumbest movies ever.

I find Twilight to be an extremely boring movie with horrible special effects... and i do not plan on waisting my money to see the rest of the movies. As for shows, i find anything from Disney Channel to be extrmely boreing, especially Hannah Montana... that show is plain trash. I also dislike Cartoon network shows... back when i was a little kid, the shows were great, (exept scooby doo) but now they've just become stupid and pointless (exept for chowder >:3)

I'm not a huge fan of reality TV, let's put it like that.

The books were awful, Why did they make it a movie?

Tyler Perry in general -
Never liked him.

Fresh Prince -
I'm sorry, But Will Smith's work in that, Yeah he was young but it was dreadful.

Most New Movies with Johnny Depp in them -
Never liked the pirate films.

Twilight for one. Terrible special effects, and it's corny as hell - not in the good way either. I can't get over how terrible the "lion and the lamb" line is. :gonk: I've read the book too, and I can't decide which one is worse. XD

I also can't stand most of Seth Rogen's movies. I'm not prudish at all, but his humour makes me cringe. @_@

The movie i have to say I found dumb this year would have to be Obsessed.

It just didn't make any sence to me, how can some one be obsessed with someone she just met, didn't have any sexual contact with, and didn't even have a past relationship with.

He could of done a better job at finding out if she really left the job, he could have done a better job at showing that she was crazy by showing the detective the harassing emails she sent him.

The detective didn't do a good job at all she seem so fake, she didn't ask for proof of anything, she just took that crazy lady word over the man. She didn't do a good job on finding out if that crazy lady really left town, and because she didn't do her job right everything went down hill from there.

Come on we didn't really see beyonce in the movie that much (Not that I'm a big fan or anything....just saying) And when we did see her she was fighting the lady with looked so lame and had really bad acting, I was so happy I didn't come out the pocket and paid to watch that movie, because i would have been the one out of a million people asking for their money back.

Lol from all that talking I did you can tell I'm very serious about this being the dumbest movie I seen this year, I would say I ever seen but I don't want to go there because you never know now a days with movies. They can go both ways good or bad.

Superbad, by far.

:o I am amazed to see such brilliance mentioned in this thread. I find this to be a really amusing show and not an insult to my intelligence in the slightest.

South Park, for me. Most everyone I know seems to find it completely hilarious, but most of the time I just think it's fucking stupid. It does have a few redeeming episodes, though. Like the Scientology one xD

Jonas, the most stupid show on there. Sonny with a Chance, Hannah Montana, Suite Life on Deck [The Suite Life of Zack and Cody was much better]. I like Nick [subtract iCarly]. But whatever happened to Roscoe and his friend? Or CatDog, Arnold or the one with all the monstor people? CartoonNetwork: My favorite shows on there are Tom and Jerry, The Marvolous Misadventures of Flapjack and CHOWDER! >:D
I hate shows like The Love Bus or whatever with Brett Micheals or shows like The Bachelor(ette). Teen Cribs must die. I mean, in reallity, it's their parents house.
The Twilight movie wasn't so bad for me, since my friend and I were making our own dialog and the second time I watched it was with the commentary [Robert Pattinson sounds so gay: "Now stop it, guys. Let's make this simple."]

I love disney channel but there is not very good shows. But i love nick especially ICARLY. And i like cartoon network but on that channel i had Marvolous Misadventures of Flapjack and Chowder ahh what bad shows!

Twilight, my stupid friend made me see that movie, I don't like romantic movies and Vampires are supposed to be blood thirsty killing machines. THERE WAS ONLY ONE FIGHT SCENE D: And its just.. bad -.-
I also hate iCarly, and Hannah Montana. Those shows are not funny and the "crowd" laughs at the stupidest things. Good lord.

ED, EDD & EDDY! God I hate that showm it;s so pointless and it;s not even funny, it;s drawn terribly.

There are many new shows that I love (like The Secret Saturdays and iCarly, which are actually VERY good) but some new ones are BAD.

Like Glen Martin: DDS... that laugh track nearly drove me insane. I couldn't sit through any episodes after the first one. And most people agree, it isn't funny at all.

Twilight... just Twilight.

Spongebob. At least the new episodes. The old ones WERE funny and some of them were scary at some points. The new ones are just. BLEK.

Chowder. Now, I loved this show when it first started. But Chowder went from being a curious, hungry, if not a bit clumsy and dimwitted kid serious about cooking to... a brain dead retard.

Oh stupid shows... just about ANYTHING on the Disney channel.
I find Squidbillies to be dumb beyond all belief, but I LOVE IT.

STUPIDEST MOVIE EVER: In Bruges. What is the point of that movie?!?! They shoot people and there's a random midget. It's sooo weird!!! :P

Man vs Food on the Travel Channel. Also I don't care for most of the reality shows that are on.

Most of the newer horror films had stupid plots. The boys I live with are addicted to these crappy things. Like the one they are currenty watching, something about a thing posessing mirrors and killing people.

The dumbest show ever was "Freinds"!!! It was show about absolutely nothing. I couldn't stand it. I still can't figure out why people were so enamored of it.

Although some of the Adult swim live action things are just as bad. Like 'The Tim and Eric show" that one is just plain moronic.
