Olette looked outside her window, as if expecting things to be different. Twilight Town hadn’t changed at all, tough. Yet, she still thought that there was something different about everything. She had felt like that ever since Hayner had given her that Christmas present. She thought back to that day. She, Roxas and Pence had met on the secret spot to exchange gifts. Hayner was also supposed to attend, but he was late. I fact, when he arrived, Roxas and Pence had already left. She remembered their conversation.

“Hey! What took you so long?� Olette said, approaching him with a smile on her face. She gave him his gift.

“Thanks. Sorry, I was out trying to find you something… Here.� With that, he gave her a beautiful white flower and a small peck on her cheek. Olette was stunned. They both stood there, blushing, until Hayner turned around and ran off.

Olette couldn’t help but giggle. She wasn’t sure why. But she knew one thing. Her feelings for Hayner sure seemed to have gone beyond friendship now. She looked back at the town. Suddenly she realised what was different about it. It all seemed so much more beautiful. Unexpectedly beautiful, much like her newfound love.
