I'm listening to some music that was on the radio when I was a kid.

Ever get that feeling of nostalgia when you listen to older songs? You wish you could go back to those days.

Right now, for me it's "The Freshmen" by The Verve Pipe. It makes me long for the 90s. Another in the same category would be "Semi-Charmed Life" by Third Eye Blind.

So what songs give you that ol' nostalgic feeling of bygone years?

My friends and I actually used to have this song called "Single Dream" from a Barbie video game that we would sing all the time and considered our theme song back in fourth and fifth grade. In fact, I actually still have most of the lyrics memorized, and it definitely makes me think back to those days when I hear it.

There are also some CDs my mother has that I used to listen to constantly as a little kid, so those are definitely still meaningful to me as well.

Seeing as most of the music I like (apart from metal) was made before I was born (classic rock, hair metal) or when I was a toddler (some hair metal), I don't get that feeling, I just wanna party!

Oh I forgot. My favorite song in the 90s was that one-hit wonder "How Bizarre" by OMC.

@ wiggly: Did you hear the guy who sang that died recentlyish.

As for songs that give me nostalgia, Hmm... The songs we used to dance to at sunday school. I can't remember the names of some of them, but when I hear them I find myself remembering the actions.

It was something to do with models and designing clothing, and then having characters walk down a runway with music playing in the background. They probably used it in several games, though. xD

Secrets by All American REjects, All Star by Smashmouth, I Miss you and All the Small Things by Blink 182. American Boy reminds me of the summer.
