A bit tired but otherwise I am good. Went to be a half hour too late.

I dressed my avatar to reflect how I am feeling :) I'm a little sick with a sore throat and the sniffles due to the weird weather we've been having over here lately. So I'm wrapped up in a yellow jumper/sweater cozy and warm now. I might have to head to bed soonish since its a working day tomorrow. But I'm going to chat here as much as possible to keep from dying out from Mene again ^^"

The weather here has been cold and breezy. Which isn't normal for Wisconsin. We should be having weather that constantly changes like everyday but it's been consisent. Weird.

I hope to wake up soon, I wanna make some tea and work on my biscornu again.

Yeap, I hope to get well soon too! Its a horrible feeling having to go to work when you're sick.

The weather around the world has been acting up. Its monsoon season now which is causing floods everywhere! and when it isn't raining, it gets insanely hot here! I guess it is a rather normal occurrence this time of the year for it to pour but it irks me because I have to walk to take public transport every morning and evening.

LOL! I had to google a biscornu! I know what it is but never knew the name of it. From its name, i instantly thought it was a type of food. I feel silly now.

Oh my goodness, I'm sorry to hear that you have to walk so much, especially in the rain. ; ;

It's ok, I was wondering what they were until someone finally showed a picture of theirs on a livejournal community I'm a member of. Then I heard of humbugs, which are 3 dimensional triangle. They look like alot of fun to make too and rather cute as well.

Its okay, I usually make sure to bring my umbrella nowadays. Or I'd have a spare in my office. And I usually try to avoid leaving the office when the rain gets too heavy ^^

It takes a lot of patience to make those things right? I doubt I would have that kind of patience. I remember when I tried sewing somethinng simple like lace on a headband and just gave up halfway. And humbugs sound cute! Though they make me think of a sad Christmas as well. LOL!

Lol ya humbugs is a odd name for a craft.

It does take alot of time to stitch a biscornu together. To stitch the two pieces together, it takes a couple of hours to do. You have to stitching through a border you did around the design. But I enjoy it. I started stitching since I was 10 and loved it. So it's rather fun and easy for me. To cross stitch you need to take your time and count alot and pay alot of attention to what you are doing to not make mistakes.

A girl from Roliana started to cross stitch because of me. And she had to get a second kit, larger this time, because it was too easy and went by too fast for her.

Oh the cross stitch sets were a real big hit back in my primary school. I think everyone had to try at least once. Though I remember I never finished mine! I think my mom finished it for me and it was used as a bookmark. My sewing skills aren't exactly spectacular. I can make really simple things and fix my torn clothes/buttons alright but nothing too artsie.

I used to show my creative side with photoshop and via writing stories but its been rather hard nowadays with work piling up and such. I barely have time for myself and for all my interests. I'm trying to get a real hobby now that I do have some free time on me. Any suggestions? :)

There are so many different things you can try. I am teaching myself how to crochet and knit, I do plastic canvas, quilt, sew, of course cross stitch, draw, and I am going to start up painting soon too. I also do origami on occassions. You could always try one of those.

I'm doing biscornus right now because they are small and you can finish one part of it in a few days.

Haha, I think it might take me more than a few days if I were to start any of those. I can't draw much so painting would be hard. I think I have lost all my imaginative capabilities working in my cubicle job. The most interesting thing I can do there is think of a creative and not so boring way of replying emails. At least that works with my colleagues replying back with smiley faces. LOL!

Oh no, tomorrow is looking over and its already 11.42pm where I am. I have to get up in 8 hours >.<"
