I've been thinking about this for a long time, war started out with pure strength, then we got a little more advanced, we went from sword and shield to muskets, then to automatic guns, then to tanks and technological warfare and not we're just getting into/out of nuclear war; the only thing left really is Germical war.

If any of you are religious or spiritual you probley know that it's predicted in the Holy Bible that there will be only two world wars and the third will be the war to end all wars, the beginning of the end. Apperantly the third and final anti-christ to guide Earth to the apocolypse will rise from Israel and quickly become leader. He/she will spark a war of 'freedom' but it will ultimatly end in the fall of mankind.

I was just wondering, since we are technically in war with the middle east, and my home country, Lebanon, is in the biggest war of our history with Israel is getting worse everyday; are we approaching the end? Will we be the generation to witness the might that is armageddon? I know it's a bold statement but look at the evidence; The Mayans predicted a revolutionary change (( I won't say destruction because the true 2012 ending of the Mayan calendar's meaning is controversal, some say it's when were in the senter of the milky way; others say it's the end)) In 2012, the Bibal predicted a Third World War in the middle east to end it all and we are on the brink of all out war, the government is handing out so much propaganda lately, and technology is getting so advanced and weapons are so powerful that it makes me wonder....are we going to cause the destruction of mankind in all it's glory and vain? Will we be the last to see the beauty and the horrors of humanity?

Alrighty, about the 'Chemical Warfare' it was already used in World War two I think. For mustard gas. Secondly it was used in Vietnam with agent orange and I think something else that I can't name. I've watched a few documentaries that show that chemicals were clearly used in war yet were kept undocumented! So it isn't that new.

I believe that machines are going to get better and be used rather than chemicals because it's always about who has the better-looking weapon rather than what is really efficient. You've also forgotten about biological warfare - like using viruses to kill masses of troops or people. It's morbid, yes but people have gotten close to using this!

I'm not very religious so all that stuff about Armageddon I don't really see happening on such a huge scale - unless you know we're hit by something! -shifty eyes-
Also, that may be the date that the Mayan calendar ends, but there's no more ancient Mayans to continue it so who's to say that it is the end of the world and not just like a calendar that goes out of date?!

Nostradamus had some chilling views on on the end of the world. I wish I knew more about them though!

I think the above makes no sense!! But yeah, writing all that down is super-hard!!

Well so far this isn't a world war. I'm not too religious myself although I'm trying to get back into the swing of it. It's only between Iraq and the US not several different nations. If this does become a world war it could possibly be the destroy us o.o;; With all the nuclear weapons and whatnot...lets just hope that doesn't happen.
