The Story
Once again the Band of Seven has returned; only this time the seven were not revived by Naraku. The seven were revived by a dark priestess, seeking immortality and the power to control minds. However she passed away from illness shortly after leaving Bankotsu with the mission to find two crystals and shatter them. Whether he will honor this request or not is his decision.
The two crystals, one known as the Setari Crystal; which grants immortality if shattered by a single person; is held by the princess of a land in the West known as S'Vell. The second is possessed by the princess's twin, the prince of S'Vell who holds the Shizuki Crystal, which grants the ability to control minds if shattered.
Thw twins must guard these crystals with their lives, literally, seeing how if these crystals are shatered, the twins will die. If one is shattered, both twins will fall ill and suffer through great pain, and if both are destroyed the twins will succumb to the illness.
InuYasha and his friends have been traveling, searching for the Shikon no Tama for more than awhile now, but what happens when they here of these new jewels and discover that the seven have been revived?

Rules
Well, seeing how we need rules in society to keep utter chaos from ensuing, we will of course have them here.
First off, literacy is important to me. I want to be able to read your posts, I know nobody's perfect but please try to watch your spelling and use basic grammar. I'd like at least a paragraph or two per post. I'll try to average three or more myself, but quality over quantity.
Cybering is a no-no. Time-skips are all right though.
Godmodding is unacceptable.
Please PM your profile with the title as 'Shiny Night'
Please stay active. It is rather annoying having somebody join and then never post, or if they post once and never come back. Say before quitting and please tell me if you are going to be gone for awhile [If possible.]
I have the right to add and remove rules. I don't know how often I'll do that, but I'll say if I have.
You are allowed to play multiple characters. You may play as maximum of eight.
And most importantly.........
Have fun.

Profiles
Username: Soquira
Character Name: Soquira Rin Valisari
Age: Seventeen
Race:Human
Appearance: Soquira Valisari
Information:Soquira is one of the twins and is the holder of the Setari Crystal. Shy when she first meets you, Soquira acts the way a true lady should when first meeting people. Though of course, after she gets to know a person, she tends to become more outgoing and sometimes a little hyper. The thing she worries most about is offending others and if she feels she has said or acted wrong she will not hesitate to apologize profusely.
Growing up sheltered, she has never had a real boyfriend and is a hopeless romantic, falling for people easily. She has a tendency to cling, due to a fear of being alone. She left home a few months ago, and hasn't really seen anybody else since. Her family wasn't happy with the idea of her leaving, so she snuck off when everybody was asleep and is now eager to see as much of the world as she possibly can.
Though she has never met the man, she holds a grudge against Naraku because the man killed her favorite aunt years before. Normally it out of character for her to hold grudges however she could not find reason to forgive Naraku.
Role:Princess
Occupation: Traveling princess.
Jewel Shards: Two.
Abilities: Growing up, Soquira studied sorcery and became proficient enough in the field. Her real talents are in controlling and manipulating wintry elements along with the air.
Side:Good.
Other: Her worst fears are pain, being alone, fire and rape. She has no fear of death, merely the manner of it.

The only sounds in the dark forest were the occasional calls of birds mixed with the cracking of twigs and the shallow breathing of the petite figure making it's way through. A small sigh escaped the lips of the clearly femineme figure and dropping her small bag she collapsed beside a tree. Her emerald green eyes scanned the area and when she was sure everything was fine she closed her eyes and allowed her head to rest against the wide tree trunk.
It was clear that Soquira Valisari was not made for this type of activiy, used to living in a large palace and being pampered for most of her life, the princess had allowed herself to fall into less than fit shape. The noonday sun was too hot for her liking despite the treetops that blocked out most of its rays. Opening her eyes once more, her gaze dropped to the necklace she wore. It was simple with a silver chain and a small, silver orb.
Though of course, the orb was anything except simple. The Setari Crystal was apparently her only reason for living, to guard it, and to make sure that it was never damaged. It had been an easy enough task while she was living at home. Back in S'Vell the story of the two crystals was popular and it wasn't rare to find the most impudent fools attempting to break ino her home and steal the crystals. But naturally the guards took care of them easily.
Now it seemed nobody in this land had heard of the crystals, that was a relief, the less she had to worry about the better. She was confident she could take care of herself if need be, however Soquira always had preferred not to use her abilities against others.
Standing up, she walked in silence towards the edge of the forest, where a large plain was seen clearly. She could always wash up in the river if need be, it seemed it ran through the forest. Finally leaving the forest, she made her way across the path and to the river - no stream, it was too small to be a river.
Staring at her reflection, one pale hand toyed with her necklace. She was pretty enough in her mind, in a bubbly little sister cute kind of way. Her long black hair that had a blue tint in sunlight reached her waist. Her eyes varied from a shade of emerald green to a light green depending on the lighting. Her skin never tanned, and not much of it was exposed aside from the tips of her fingers a long with her face and throat.
She wore a long light blue gown with sleeves that covered her arms completely and swept the ground when she walked. The gown was loose however it still showed off the curves of her body in a way those kimonos the Japanese wore couldn't. She was barefoot due to a hatred of shoes.
This was one thing the princess was glad for, her homeland traded with European countries so none of the royals had to settle for those stuffy kimonos if they didn't want to. She never had been fond of them, far too many layers for her liking, and it took to long to change out of.
Stepping away from the river, the princess made her way over to the path and began walking, hoping that what she saw in the near distance really was a village and not some mirage.
