Hey. I'm Blade : D And I write poems and short stories. I'll start with some poems. The first four will be from when I was 10.

Love
They say love is the best feeling
Though I disagree
It's the only feeling
Our final objective
Is to be loved, and love
If you don't
You'll never touch down.

The World
Blood and bruises are on the world
From all our mistakes
We grabbed it, quickly destroying it
Not giving a single thought
We cherished our magical powers
Of neon glows and moving contraptions
Not turning around...
Until it was too late
We all abused our planet
And it might never recover

Taxes
A groan escapes from ours lips
As we see those men come
We grab their letters on the tips
Of the things we use to hold a plum
We give those men a kick
They say they don't give a lick

Orange
They say the word orange doesn't rhyme
Oh no, they're really wrong
We think it's really time
"This won't take long.
The word that rhymes with orange...
is door hinge."

I won't be posting all my stories into this topic. I'll be posting it in the main forums, and end it with ~Blade. Just so you all know if you like my stories.

I'm not sure what you mean by "in the main forums". If you plan on posting short stories, please post them in the Lit Spot and confine them into one thread.

However, since this thread is so far only poetry, I could move this to the Poetry subforum, and you could make another thread exclusively for your short stories. Would that be acceptable?
