Wow mystic that's alot of animals you have how do you afford to keep them all healthy

Though I do think that it is really cool of you to take in these animals and I'm sure they are also very happy that you took them in as well

I have a friend who is obsessed with huskies, but her parent's won't get her one. poor girl =/

Anyway, I had two dogs until last weekend. One was a fox terrier/rat terrier mix and was really old, but thought she was still a little pup. My other doggie was a yorkshire terrier and he loved to play with toys. He was little and brown and he liked to "grr" a lot so we named him Little Bear. lol Unfortunately, both dogs were really old and kicked the bucket last weekend by natural deaths. I was really sad, but I still have three cats to keep me company.

My first cat I got as a kitten, she's a tuxedo cat which means she's black with a white tummy and white legs. I called her sox because she liked to play with socks and it rhymed with box, her favorite toy lol

My second cat is a Persian mix that I received from the Humane Society. She used to be really shy, but she's come out of it. I named her Jewels because she had the biggest eyes that looked like shiny jewels.

My last cat is an all black one. When I got him from the Humane Society he was gray, that's how dirty and unappreciated he was. I named him Max, and he's the best cat I've ever had. Sometimes it scares me because he acts like a little person, but other times it's cute because his meows are so whiny and high pitched.

I love all my animals and have been a member of the Humane Society for about 3-4 years now :)

I was just looking at my unplanned betta fry with a magnifying glass. ..Funny how a tiny dot with two even tinier dots on one side and a transparent tail can suddenly become very cute to you.

I spend 90% of my money on my animals. They're VERY spoiled. Plus a lot of my animals are really easy to care for and don't require a whole lot of money aside from electric bills and toys. You wouldn't believe how much healthier some of my pets look after just a few weeks of proper care. It's sad how many people don't care properly for pets that are easy to care for.

No kidding. That's part of the reason I hate working in a pet store. You get too many people in there that just don't research animals before they want to buy them. I have a bearded dragon that can't walk right because some young kid thought it was okay to leave her without proper lighting. It's so annoying especially because I told him she was going to have issues if he didn't get her proper lighting months before he dumped her at the store.

Then you get those people who rely on people at the store and quite frankly, not very many people know anything about the animals they sell which in the long run the animal pays for. It's pathetic, really. =/

It gets frustrating especially when ignorant people think they're "right". I have so many bad stories it's not even funny. The good part of it is that there are people willing to learn and that makes me happy to know that some people care enough about their pets to actually learn about them.

Yeah, I learned everything I know about aquatics from first hand experience and a lot of researching. I'm obsessed with aquatics and that's what people that come into the store I work at have the most trouble with. Fish are weird creatures sometimes but they're so interesting at the same time.

Aww very cute guinea pigs!

Hmm, I currently have 1 cat, 3 dogs, & 1 bird.

The cats name is Licorice. He is black with grey stripes..or grey with black stripes xD Not sure. He's very mellow so anyone & everyone can cuddle him. He's a sweetie pie ^.^
The 3 dogs, Paco, Cocoa, & Lady. Paco is the oldest, he's a full chihuahua (light brown) but he's very GRUMPY. He doesn't like most kids and the ones he does like, he goes right up to them & begs for them to pet him xD Cocoa (Chihuahua/Fox Terrier) is our baby, she has never made any mistakes, though when she was a puppy, she bit up 2 of my dad's $300 shades =/ But she is very good, she gets nervous sometimes too. Lady (Mini Pin./ Terrier) is a recent addition to our family. She is very naughty. We've been trynna teach her to use the bathroom on the paper but she refuses to listen. So she has to stay on the leash till she learns. She has a high pitched bark too so whenever she gets left home alone, she screeches till she falls asleep -_-

Haha well that's it. Buh bye

Hmm... yeah there was a thread a while back... but it's long been dead.

I have 4 cats, some fish, and a tarantula too =3. We used to have a dog, a rabbit, mice, rats, and a few other animals I was too young to remember.

Hmm... worst kinda pet would prolly be a sloth. I had a neighbor that had one once... would be so boring.

So personalities of the cats:
Kali - Snobbish bi-polar brat that beats up her own children (our other 3 cats). She's rather mean nowadays.

Kuma - She's a lovey cat with a dark side ^^". She's a masochist. She loves being hit really hard... she starts purring and stuff. Oh... and she gives love nips if you're not careful.

Trogdor - A very shy loner. Very sweet cat.

Gracy, my cat - Loves laying on my lap and sleeping with me. Very sweet towards me. Very chatty too. Problem is... -.- she snores...

Ignatz (tarantula) - She just kinda sits in the corner of the cage... never does much...

Old pets:
Thumper (rabbit) - Always thumped on the cage and it would always rain dropping down... (eww). Dies of a heart attack or something.

Max (Terrier) - Very nice happy dog. Was very fat but happy. Died of old age.

That's all the animals I remember details about.

--

I think the best animal in the world to have, would be a wolf pup... they're so cute <3

Hmm let's see...

I've got two ferrets named Todd and Fred.
They are both around five or six years old by now.. maybe a little older.

I've got a cute little three month old bunny named Chewie.. only because she..chews..on..everything...

I have a two year old standard black poodle named Babe who is..a major flake but I love him anyways.

I have a blind and deaf, red and white eleven or tweleve year old mini-doxie named Angel. She is and always will be the first dog i've owned. She only let me, my fiancee and my brother's girlfriend touch her. If i'm around she tries to eat you. >>;;

And last but not least, Voodoo. My cockatuu, I think she's a sulfur-crested. But i'm not entierly sure, I got her from a rescue.

Babe came from a breeder, Angel came from a rescue, the ferrets came just by luck, and the bunny came from my sister who got her from a bunny show she went to.
