Background: Early on, Friday (who was actually born on a Tuesday) was diagnosed with dyslexia, a short term memory disorder and mild obsessive compulsive disorder. Her parents, who were wealthy, were able to get the latest tools from software developers to help her with her reading. Friday’s had tutoring her whole life for reading, working on her memory and practicing controlling her compulsions, which get worse when she’s nervous. Her life long goal has been to be able to read Robin Hood on her own without help.

Friday came down to the table and took a seat. Her mother put soup on the table, and she picked up her soup to eat it just as her father came down. The man sit down at the table, and returned the smile Friday gave him.

'Our foster child should be arriving soon,' he said, beginning to eat. 'And when he comes, he can have lunch,' his wife said, putting two more bowls down and sitting in front of her's. Friday nodded. She wondered what the new boy would be like.

Not 15 minutes later, a car drove up into the driveway and the doorbell rang, signaling the arrival of the new foster child, a young male of about 15. The boy in question waited somewhat anxiously at the front door, wondering what his new family would be like.

Mr. Mathis stood and went to the door. He smiled at the young man there. 'Hello. Come on in.' He stepped back, opening the door further.

"Do you have all your things young man?" asked the social worker, earning a nod from the brown haired male as he stepped inside. "Er, hi there! Um...I'm Gavin..but you probably already knew that, hehe.." the boy chuckled slightly, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

Mr. Mathis smiled down at him. 'Follow me to the dining room, Gavin. You can meet my wife and daughter.'
