I really like death cab. i've been liking them since their first start. I have all their EPs and albums up to their newest one. I really like the old death cab and my favorite album is transatlanticism. how about you?

I love them! They deserve every bit of their popularity. I think their best song is Title and Registration, it never get old ^_^

I love them as well. It would be hard to pick a favorite album and song at least for me. I love the lyrics.

My favorite song by them is I'll Follow You Into the Dark
but basically ALL of the songs rock

I like them, but I have to be in the mood for it. All the songs I have of them are very slow love songs. While I do like the lyrics, I tend to listen to lyricless music so Death Cab for Cute can sometimes irk me. I like Postal Service a wee bit better. I don't like their lyrics as much, but I like the music composition a bit better.

Does anyone know why they're called Death Cab for Cutie? I heard an interview once and they never actually answered the question. Is it a Blink 182 like thing? (Where the band members kept giving different answers for why they chose "182".)

Coming back to this topic three months later, I'm happy to say that I've listened to "I Will Follow You Into The Dark" by Death Cab, and now I can say that I like this group a lot. :D
