Yeah, it was nice to see it so active compared to how it's been lately. Hopefully more people come back/stick around after the event too!

yea! i hope so too. seems likely there could be more mini events too, that'd be something to help everyone look forward to ya know? maybe get some a new item or two to buy in the event shop and stuff. i wish i knew how to pixel stuff like that because i'd help... i'm basically useless except for keeping up morale

I wish I knew how to pixel as well! If I had the right program, I could probably do recolors, but not create the items.
Tbh, if it was possible to make/have event items that are basically just recolors of previous event items the event commons mainly as I think a lot of the "rare/special" event items are generally multi-pose, that would be pretty cool.

Actually recolors were my least favorite part of being a pixelist :P I enjoyed creating much more than recoloring :D

I just couldn't take the tedious recolor process because I can't sit still for very long - would get SO restless! The creating process allowed me to focus a bit more for some reason XD

I wish I knew how to pixel too. Maybe I could at least do recolors if that was needed, I'm not sure.

Oh my gosh, MS Paint. XD
I still use that program on occasion for editing screenshots, haha.

Gotta say....recolors with ms paint? Not easy. The definitely took me many hours and my dad probably thought I was crazy...but it was the only art/coloring program I had access to in 2007/2008. And just look at this pretty winter wing recolor! (Lol, sorry...I had to show off)
I don't have any other recolors on my phone...they're stashed in my computer somewhere.

I used to pixel on MS Paint when I was a pixelist....Jelly used to yell at me to use a different program and make my life easier.
I just prefer MS Paint for pixeling.
But for recolors...it's not good LOL Did recolors in other programs.

Maria: Yeah, I definitely don't recommend Paint for recolors. Especially not for actual site items. For fun and if it's you're only option, it's fine, but these days there are so many other better options.
Cinderella: Hehe...thanks. It's probably my favorite of all my recolors and I think I spent 4+ hours working on it. Would not do it again without a better program. XD

It's not much fun. I'm still not really in a great mental space, but I'm better than I was and I think a lot of my current mental issues are money/financial anxieties weighing heavy on me. Like, I'm not actively thinking about them, it's just kind of always in the back of my head.
But I think this year wil be a good year to actually manage a lot of that. I've already knocked 1 of the stressors off my list. Just 9 more things to do/take care of. And 8 of them will just take time really.
And other issues...but those are the main steessors...

Ah, yeah, financial worries are not fun.
I'm hoping my own mental health improves when I can finally move out - it feels like I'm being held hostage at home and I don't think it will get better until I'm on my own.
I hope this year is good to you!

My financial thing will take a few years to fully straighten out, but I'll be making some good progress this year and will hopefully only have 6 credit card payments to chisel away at next year instead of 8. And should have my taxes all straightened out. Long story.
