" Well , she did graduate in the top 7% if her class at NYU. Also Miss Murray has had a few run ins with the FBI and her dad was assistant director of development at Hammer Industries and later in the same position at SHIELD. " Bruce said also seeing that Andrew Murray was at the facility they were heading to.

" I see him. He's the gentleman at the table by the window. " Kathryn said with a smile and waved. She was happy he had seen her and waved back. "I'm not sure really. He does like pancakes and he did make ham and cheese crepes often. " Kathryn said and went to where her dad was feeling this would be a good visit.

Kathy my dear! Back so soon?" Andrew Murray said and thought he had just seen his daughter yesterday. Everyday seemed the same to him except for the days Kathryn came to visit him. " Who's this nice young lady?" He asked and offered his hand in greeting. He knew he was getting weaker and worried about his daughter.

"Well, she seems smarter than this one here. Looks like with the information that Shield has gathered on miss Amisi might be little, but it explains a few things. Amelia Amisi is said to be in her later early twenties by appearance and her ancestry seems to be from Egypt, but no one really knows how much of that is true. Most of the original Egyptians are said to have black or dark brown hair." Tony looked at the picture more

Seeing her photo and the description of her appearance she is far from that bloodline. Her skin is lighter rather than tan so that doesn't make sense. They call her super human abilities under magic since they can't figure out which is her actual real power. They give about half the details and it looks like they tried to detain her once, though she knocked out the guards and escaped by pretending to be a child. Ouch that's not something I would gloat about to live with." Tony said shaking his head thinking Shield agents got taken down by a child at the time.

Amelia followed remembering to be on her best behavior not wanting to be rude to him or anyone for that matter. She had more respect and self respect than to act rudely in front of others not trying to kidnap or kill her. Amelia followed until they got over to where her (Kathryn) father was. When he spoke and held out his hand she took it out of habit.

"Amelia Amisi, I am a good friend of Kathryn" Amelia spoke, they had just met, but what else would they call each other to make it easier for someone to understand. For some reason when she shook his hand her energy magic flowed from her to him, only a little bit, but it would be more of a pleasant thing than anything. A warm feeling of strength and energy from her to him. It was a bad habit she had and is why she didn't touch people often because it scared them.

" Maybe she's sort of like Thor?" Bruce asked and saw the picture of the lovely young woman. " I don't blame her for avoiding SHIELD for this long. " He added. " I do hope they come with us. Don't really want either of them hurt. " Bruce added and hoped to avoid any conflict.

" Nice to meet you Amelia. " Andrew said suddenly feeling a little stronger. " It's nice that you brought a friend today Katie. " He said using a nickname he hadn't used in years. " Now sit down. Breakfast should be here soon and I would live to hear how you both became friends. " Andrew added.

" We met outside my apartment building. " Kathryn said and smiled at him using that nickname. She didn't want him to know that she was wanted by SHIELD and wondered if he had once worked for them. "I promise dad I'm not in any trouble. All I did was send a message about a problem and didn't expect the attention. " Kathryn said seeing a concerned look in his eyes

"Or if they hurt us, though I doubt either of them really could" he couldn't see either girl winning in a battle against the two of them let alone one even if it was a head on battle. "Well I certainly could see why Shield would want a woman like miss Murray. She has brains and looks in one package. Though they're probably just seeing the brains part, I guess that's where I come in" Tony joked laughing at his little inside joke about being a womanizer who saw the beauty in most of the woman he saw or met.

Amelia just smiled as she sat down listening to the conversation, there would be no point to lie to this man, and she realized he was the respectable kind of man you hardly meet anymore. "But I answered the message coming to aid her in what I could, we met awhile back by chance, and just started getting closer from there" which was technically true; Amelia had a dream that led her to go outside seeing the van and chancing to meet Kathryn for some reason, then they flew here, and talked along the way up until this point. She would say they were rather close.

" I doubt they could either. " Bruce said with a grin. " I'm sure I can handle Miss Amisi. " He added with a grin. " Should we wait a little bit till we see them arrive or come out ? He asked not sure if Miss Murray and Miss Amisi were already at the facilty. He did trust that Tony was able to get Miss Murray to help and he knew it wasn't going to be easy to convince Miss Amisi.

I'm happy you did.Who was it that you were wanted by? If it was SHILED , I warn you both that director of theirs is persistent." Andrew said hoping that it wasn't SHIELD. But he had a feeling they wouldn't contact Kathryn unless they did need her help with something.

Just SHIELD. I sure know that. Supposedly he's sending someone to bring us in. In my opinion if it's not one of the Avengers , I'm still not budging. " Kathryn said hoping it was someone she would get along with. She rarely worked with people and proffered to be on her own when doing a project.

"Let's wait for right now, we want to make sure we catch them, and not try to scare them off" Tony spoke thinking it wouldn't be easy "So we'll try to talk to them first and hopefully that will work. If not, I'm not sure how far on detaining them we should go. If they're dangerous then why are they here?" Tony spoke.

For a some time Amelia talked with Andrew and Kathryn keeping her likes as well as dislikes out of the conversation in order to keep it a peaceful one. Though she wasn't that quiet and did ask or answer questions. Amelia began to feel as if she was being watched. Not that she was probably, but it was all apart of how she grew up. So it was habit. It seemed an hour had passed and Amelia was starting to get tired of sitting

"If you'll excuse me I think I'll go get some fresh air. It was a pleasure to meet you Mr. Murray" she held out her hand once more to shake it and say her goodbyes and looked over at Kathryn saying 'Don't worry I won't leave you alone' with her eyes, not her mind nor spoken words. Her touch had energy trailing once more and when she let go of his hand it probably stayed more with him than it did with her. "Good day" and she walked back out to sign out and out in the front enjoying the breeze that passed her.

" Maybe this is where they were headed to in the first place. It says in Miss Murray's file that her father has dementia. " Bruce said and saw a lovely young woman exit the building. " Looks like Miss Amisi already out. Woukd you like me to be the one to talk to her?" He asked.

Kathryn was glad she had the chance to have a good conversation with her dad and felt a little tense. She asked him if he wanted to go to the outside patio and was happy that he did. Kathryn knew he had a dialysis session soon but wants to spend as much time with him as possible today.

"Sure knock yourself out, just don't let her knock you out" Tony joked but was a bit serious not sure if she really could or not. He stayed in the car looking over both girl's files, but what really got his attention more was Kathryn Murray's file as he read up on it and then did some background information through Jarvis that Shield wouldn't have nor would bother with.

Amelia looked up at the sky "What did I get myself into?" she asked to herself seeing as there wasn't anyone out front and most were out back if anyone was. It was a beautiful day, soon it would be autumn, she was so happy, and ready for Autumn. Amelia did like the warmth of Summer, but not the cold of winter.

Nor did she like really super hot weather, it wasn't her type of thing; taking a small breath of a sigh she wanted to fly up into the sky, but knew she couldn't leave Kathryn alone. Why was she so attached to this woman and helping her? Amelia was used to ignoring others, not helping them even though she wanted to, and sometimes she would do so in secret. So why did she feel like she should help her, yet...she felt like she was contradicting herself at times.

Bruce got out of the car and headed to where Miss Amisi was and hoped this wasn't a bad idea in the first place. The last thing he wanted to do was to lose control if she attacked him knowing that would put the residents of the care facility at risk. "Are you Miss Amisi?" He asked the woman hoping this went well.

Kathryn said goodbye to her dad once the nurse came to get him and signed out. She looked around for Amelia hoping that a SHIELD agent hadn't already caught her. Kathryn decided to go to the small park that was for residents and visitors having a feeling she might be there and noticed a dark colored car as she walked by.

"That depends on who is asking" Amelia spoke raising her guard once more, though she was surprised that someone so cute walked up to her asking her for her name. Probably why she put her guard back up instead of it being out of habit. "Who are you?" Amelia asked waiting for his response.

Tony noticed that a young woman walked out and that she looked like Kathryn Murray. Waiting as she walked by thinking it wouldn't be such a smooth idea to talk to someone from inside of a car. He got out and walked over to her casually "Kathryn right?" he asked walking up to her.

" I'm Bruce Banner. You might have heard of me or of the Other guy." He said using the nickname he used for the Hulk. He had a feeling she knew of him and hoped this wasn't going to be bad." I understand you don't like SHIELD all that much." Bruce added. He understood her feelings somewhat, since he had once been in hiding from them and the United States Army.

" You are right. You must be Tony Stark. It's not everyday I get to meet someone I admire." Kathryn said . She rarely admitted she admired some of the innovations Stark Industries had produced the last few years. She had been very lucky to receive a used server that was made by that company and had hated how expensive they were even used,

"Hm..." Amelia thought for a moment then shook her head "I am certain I have seen you around before, but my memory hasn't been the best lately" Amelia admitted then heard about Shield, she was too tired to care if he was with them or not, but by the way he looked. She doubted he was affiliated. "So why do you wish to speak with me? If its about going to Shield I won't go"

"That I am. I'm flattered to meet such an admirer. Would you happen to have a few moments to spare?" Tony asked kindly thinking it was best to speak to these girls alone. Well more like separate from one another. Tony assumed she was like a flaky fangirl as he learned they were called though she wasn't acting like one clearly. Though he had just met her.

(sorry late reply I have a little brother with temper tantrums and lately they have been really bad)

( No worries. I understand that sometimes RL gets in the way. I won't be on much Saturday. I'll be at a wedding , unless it's rained out. )

" How does Stark Tower sound. Actually I'm an Avenger and we usually don't get involved unless it's something Fury or even Coulson can't handle. " Bruce said. " You would be safe there since people like you and Miss Murray have been going missing and turning up in comas or even dead. " He added.

" Of course. " Kathryn said with a slight smile. She was a fan girl in a way but would handle this meeting just like she did all her other business type ones." This is about SHIELD wanting to talk to me right? " She asked and wouldn't admit she had heard the rumors about the Avengers since that pretty much was classified intel.

(Okie dokie, I'll have a morning shift then. Last post for the night)

"People like us? Sorry, but there isn't anyone like me out there. Not unless you count a dead goddess over centuries ago" According to what her mother would tell her, Amelia never did like those words 'people like you' it just struck her wrong, probably for reasons more than one. Amelia wasn't sure at first "Are you people like us?" Amelia asked. Ah, she knew who the Avengers were of course. Never cared to look into that term though.

Tony shook his head "Fury can't handle bringing you two in, so he asked us to. Don't worry it isn't as bad as he makes it sound. Would you mind lending us a hand to help us find the people who are kidnapping others like you?" Tony asked, not really asking, but he had to at least make it sound like that.

" I apologize. " You have powers and Miss Murray is genius level. Well not all of us have powers that we were born with. See two of us are highly skilled assassins , one is just a guy from Brooklyn who happens to be a legend, one is The Norse God of thunder and Tony Stark also known as Iron Man. Then there's me and The Other Guy. " Bruce said." We would really like your help to find whom ever is harming those innocent people. "

" Of course. So really the rumors are true? " Kathryn said feeling shocked. " So that's why my workload has gone down drastically. Usually I'll write specialty programs for other hackers or for their businesses. But since I've been told about people going missing I've lost work. " She said feeling awful that some of her contacts and clients had been targets.

Amelia looks unsatisfied wondering why she feels the need to help others yet didn't feel like it really involved her. Though what really convinced her was for some reason she felt as though she could trust him. Amelia hadn't felt like she trusted someone like this in a long time and the last person she trusted had passed away from old age even though he appeared twenty four. That will be a story for later on when Amelia would feel like explaining it to someone. For now, she had decided "Alright, but if you betray my trust and this turns out differently keep in mind 'Looks are deceiving' and I'm alot worse than some deadly assassin" Amelia spoke kindly then warned, not threatened. "But I kind of need to find Kathryn before we leave" Amelia spoke.

"If your clients had been the targets then I'm starting to wonder if you're really the main target in this" Tony spoke thinking more about it "Jarvis, look up all the contacts of those who went missing and compare them to Kathryn Murray's list of contacts" Tony spoke into his phone and snapped it shut with that instant "Come on, we need to get you to safety" Tony had started to lead her to the car.

" I understand." Bruce said and wondered if Tony was with Kathryn already. "She might already be with Tony. I have a feeling that she was the intended target all along." He said remembering the list of people that had already been killed, and knew the chance she knew some of those people were great.

Kathryn nodded and followed and hoped her dad would be safe here. " Can I at least find Amelia? I don't want her to be left behind if she is a target as well." She said seeing her new friend in the distance along with who she thought was Bruce Banner. It already made her feel nauseous that some of her friends had been targets and feared that they had been used to get to her.

"Alright, well if something is going on it's best to figure out now rather than lose more lives within this world" especially after the whole Loki thing, which she wondered if the half god lived or not or what happened to him, stories and rumors would travel about so she never knew which to believe. "This may be a stupid question, but how has your day been before having to track us down?" Amelia asked, she might not be fully human, but she wasn't emotionless.

"Of course, actually Bruce is talking with her right now, hopefully he is having just as much luck as I am" Tony answered walking her back to the car hoping to see the other two, however a noise behind them made Tony quickly move them out of the way as something flew by them. It was a poisoness arrow which killed the grass it had hit. "Come on, to the car quickly" Tony quickly helped her up rushing her to the car.

" It was good. Thank you. " Bruce said and felt an arrow fly past him. " We need to run now. " He said urgently and grabbed Amelia's hand before he started to head to the car. The last thing he wanted was her to get killed because he failed to get her someplace safe.

Kathryn rushed to the car and felt tense. " How far to where I am going to be?" She asked hoping it was still in New York. Though she had wanted to pack a bag , the arrow that had almost hit her made her realize how much danger she really was in.

Amelia was taken by the hand as Bruce led her to where she saw Kathryn running with who she believed was to be Iron Man. She never learned the names of the actual people, super heroes were supposed to keep those secret, but sometimes it never worked out that way. Another arrow flew right towards Kathryn and Tony.

Tony replied "Not too far from here, about a thirty or so minute drive" Tony looked back seeing the arrow that was coming straight for them and got ready to take the hit instead of letting Kathryn take it, though he stopped as the arrow froze in mid air, spun around back the direction it came, and was sent with incredible speed back at the attacker who it barely missed apparently. Tony rushed Kathryn into the car wavering Amelia and Bruce to get in then he would get in next as the door closed and they drove off.

Amelia wound up going in after Bruce accidentally losing balance and falling against his shoulder. Then she sat up looking at Kathryn "You okay?" she asked worried about her new friend.

Kathryn shook her head. " Not really. Didn't expect this to happen. " She said hoping her dad was safe. Kathryn feared that those after her could use him to hurt her. " How about you?" She asked Ameila as they rode through the city.

" Your father is in safe hands Kathryn. " Bruce said after he read the message Fury had sent. " We have SHEILD backup to make sure you both make it to Stark Tower safely. " He said glad that Fury agreed that was the safest place at the moment.

"I'm quite alright, harming me isn't very easy to do. Even with death I am told, but I don't know how much of that is true" Amelia knew more than she would say and was ready to keep it that way. "Well, I don't mind us talking or such, but keep Fury away from me. The last time he tried to so-call talk to me, he wound up trying to capture me, and he got a glimpse of what I could do. I wonder if he still has the mark from it" Amelia thought to herself a bit out loud.

"Yea, so don't worry about him. They're pretty good at the smaller things when it comes down to non-supers." or just normal people in general that is. Tony looked over at Amelia he had an odd feeling that he shouldn't trust her so easily, though when did he really trust anyone, and ever show it?

( no wedding tomorrow. The happy couple decided to elope today. So I'm going to chill with a pizza and the new season of Doctor Who. :) )

" We won't let him do that. I think he'll just be satisfied your with us. " Bruce said. "There has already been tests done on those arrows. So far the poison isn't something normally used and don't know the origin yet. But they do know it's strong enough to put someone in a coma. " He said looking at the message he had just got. " Clint's already saying those archers are amatures. " He said with a laugh.

"Clint is the archer Avenger right ? I've seen some action figures of you guys. Have all of them except Captain America and Iron Man. " Kathryn said with a grin. " The only reason is that the Captain Amercia one is always sold out and I can't afford the Iron Man one. " She said and tried to relax.

(Okay that second sentence, loved it. I started laughing, forgive me. Cool. I have a 6am-11:30am shift so I will be up after that as long as I dont decide on a nap after work)

"Is that the purple arrow guy I saw on the news awhile back?" Amelia asked, she didn't see it on a tv, she saw him on a rooftop "Not very stealthy is he? By the way why is he purple?" Amelia knew she stood out, but there wasn't really a way to hide that. Now Hawkeye aka Clint on the other hand probably could, but why purple of all colors?

"The dude likes to look like Barney, that can't be helped" Tony spoke up listening to Kathryn speak about the action figures. Then he thought about something reading under the car seat in a drawer and pulled out a neat-in great condition, never opened action figure of Iron Man. "Here, I don't have Steve's, but I do still have a couple of mine on hand. I tend to pass them out to the kids every now and then when I go places." Tony tossed it her way. "You can have it if you want"

( Alright. I'm glad you did laugh. I laughed when I got the phone call today. )

" Thank you. " Kathryn said with a smile and caught the package. " You probably think it's odd that a woman likes to collect action figures. I also use to collect baseball cards. " She admitted feeling a bit embarrassed. Kathryn had been somewhat of a tomboy growing up and knew her mom still disliked her choice of career.

" I don't think it's strange at all. " Bruce said. " I've wondered that as well. " He added but knew he wasn't the person to aske that question. He would let Tony ask something like that. " One enemy archer has been caught but he's dead. Clint says the archer drank a vial of the same poison that's on the arrows. " Bruce said and wad glad they were in the loop for this.
