I open my eyes as I hear the knocking at my door. "Great morning already." I mumble mainly to myself as I roll out of the small bed. I walk to the door and open it for Myean and stare at her as I try and wipe the sleep from my eyes. I am realy not a morning person but I could try to be. Myean sounded like she wanted to talk about something important to her so the lest I could do was act like I was half a wake rather I am or not. "Morning Myean how was your sleep?"

"im sorry were you sleeping? I can come back in the morning" i am standing in the door way a slightly worried look on my face as i was standing there. " i didnt mean to wake you" i finish lamely

I stare at her not believing a word of what she is saying. If she hadn't meant to wake me she wouldn't be at my door. I stared at her blankly knowing my face must be telling her is that all she could come up with to lie to me with. "Meyean I am awake. You can come in or we can go down stares and talk this over a cup of coffee or tea." I stretched as I waited for her.

Sighs before I step inside. not wanting to beat around the bush I cut srait to the point. " do you trust him?" my voice though casual has a slightly harder tone to it then normal. " cause if not we can leave now with out him any the wiser.

((occ: you do realize that not a lot of time had passed between him leaving and me coming to the door....))

I look at Myean deep in thought as I take a seat back on my bed. "I am not sure it would be wise not to trust him Myean. The lady of yours said we needed him and she hasn't lead you wrong yet has she. I think we can trust him and if we can't I'll dispose of him."

nods my voice assuming my normal quality " good, so tell me what was going on between you and mr mysterious? i saw some heated sparks between you and it wasnt in anger" winking i smile adviously teasing her

I roll my eyes then look back at her and laughed. "No those were anger sparks you saw. The fool played me that is all. He is very talented with his sward though I can tell you that. I have never used one but after seeing him and feeling...I know I could use one." I couldn't tell her how he saw each of us...and most certainly not how he saw me. I didn't get to see very much how he felt or saw us but what I did was special. Both of us to him where special he had not lied when he said he knew us and had dreamed of us. I hate to admit that the fool did know me...better than I wanted anyone to know me. He had devotion to both of us that I had never seen. I feel my cheeks grow red as I hurry to think of something else making it fade before Myean could think her thoughts were right.

catches the blush and raises an eyebrow silently laughing. " oh? so sure of that are you?" -waves a hand dismissively- eithor way i think we still need to find a few more people. however i also think that we cannot waste any more time in going after this magic. i am getting tired of these eaters... and what they represent.

I look at her trying to understand where this side of Myean came from. "When did you become so gun ho about things? I have no problem beating a few and killing as many as we need to myself. Though don't you think you should lesion to your elders and do what they have told you to? I may be a little head strong but I know that when it comes to elders you are much wiser if you lesson to them." I move my eyes from her as I see Rayth through the eyes of my feathered friends. I smile slightly as I cuckle. He looks quite funny in his uniform it doesn't look natural on him.

I close my eyes as the air around me grows colder freezing me to the bone. I only have a few more hours left and then I can go find warmth and something hot to eat. I smile as I stand there thinking about Myean and Chell. They had found me at last..though chell wasn't how I had saw her. She was every better in person. I hadn't notice that I was laughing till one of the other guards spoke to me jolting me from my daze. "And who are you thinking about? I know that laugh and face can only mean you are thinking of a woman. So who is it? Is it Betty you know she has a thing for you." I laugh as I look back to the forest keeping my eyes on it. "No...it was nothing....and not Betty! That girl is scary." The other guard laughed as he shook his head and nodded. "Sure whatever you say doc....but I know better just know that."

sighs, my voice seeming to age beyond my years as i spoke. "hmn sometimes there is a conflict between what the elders tell you to do, and what is happening in real life. life changes, forcing you to adapt, and overcome so that we may coontinue to live. just as that war changed us all those years ago, so to has the magic. heck there are even eaters who are growing resistant to the magic, forcing us to adapt even more. i am merely trying to adapt to the life while we still can. yes agree that it is generally better to listen to your elders, but what about if doing so would get you killed. would it be worth it? who knows except you? that is something we deal with every day out here... something everyone deals with at somepoint." sighs once more before i paste a smile on my face. -looking at her i smile more naturally mentally shaking the thoughts from my mind. "and im so gung-ho because i think you two would make a good couple." muttering something i had once heard from my past i wasnt even aware of what it meant nor why i should say it "when fire dances, so does shadows, for even on a could night the dancing fire does melt away the ice surrounding a frozen heart warming it till it casts its own light even in the shadows." blinking i stand and brush off my clothes. "well if you dont mind im going to change and then try to gets omething to eat. your welcom to join me if you like," seeing her distracted glance i smile to myself before finishing' "or not."

I looked at Myean and give her a smile. "Sure I'll join you. And what makes you say that? You are talking about not trusting him so how did you jump to we make a great couple. Besides he doesn't like me..." I moved from my bed to my bag as I tried to ignore my last statement. I know that it was a weak come back because it was obvious that Rayth was crazy over both of us and just a little to happy to see me. I turned and looked at Myean. "Shut up! Just go get dressed. I know that he is crazy for both of us and a little too much for me." I give her a warm smile and a playful wink.

smiles and giggles "sometimes the devils advocate is needed for someone to fully explore a conversation." still laughing i turn and walk back to my room where i slip on some clothes before running down the stairs for some quick grub from the kitchen. thats where i meet chell next, with my mouth full of food.

I laughed as I looked at Myean. "Hmmm table manners are lacking just a bit dear." The food must be good for Myean to act in such a way I assumed. I order me some hot tea as I sit there and enjoy it. I keep my eyes open taking note of everyone in the room with us. I don't want to be suprised by anyone just randomly showing up. I stare down at the fork as it glows slightly then jumps up and walks over to me. I jump suprised by it and looking to see if anyone else saw it. I turn back after seeing that no one but me and Myean was seeing this. The frok just nuzzled me I guess sence it has no arms to hug as it stayed near my arm. I looked down at it as it moves to where I can see it better acting like a puppy istead of a fork. "Great now I can't look at things without them coming to life. " The frok just nuzzled my arm again as it tried to moved under many hand like a puppy does when it wants to be petted. I gently pick it up and rub it as if it was a puppy. The frok wiggled in my hand like a happy dog. I stare at it not sure what to do with it.

"eat with it of course" my eyes were lit up in silent laughter as i watched her. "just like what im doing with mine" looks back down at my food moving through it fast my energy needing replenished, my fast metabolism guarantying I would be hungry in a few hours again. finall with my stomach full i sit back looking around for our other traveling partner. "now where oh where did our little boy go?" i say in a singsong voice drawing slight looks in our direction, neithor of us looking like mothers, let alone old enough to have a son.

I had took the fork in my hand and was holding it like I was going to eat it while I took a sip of tea. I almost chocked on it after hearing her statment. I shift my eyes to her and raise my brow. "Our boy?" I handn't knonw we had one." I shifted in my seat as a cool wind entered in the inn from someone opening the door.

I open the door of the inn and shut it as I moved to the kitchen. I was greeted by the cook and the inn keeper more than happy to see me. The cook told me he would have me something hot up soon enough. I laughed as I walked further in the kitchen. I fell my heart ready to jump out of my chest for no good reason to be honest as I looked about the place to see why. I smile as I see Myean and Chell. I smile happy to know the reason for my hearts sudden action. I walked over to them behind Chell as I give Myean a wink.

makes no outward sign of acknowledging rayths presence instead taking a drink of water. i wanted to see how chell would react to him surprising her, i had a feeling i was going to get a good laugh at one of their expences. giggles trying not to choke on the water as i listen to chells surprised tone. " yes our boy" this time i force the inflection on the word to let her know what i meant.

"What?" I turn as I see a hand appear out of the air beside me. I yell then grab the hand I jumped turning holding the fork aiming to kill with it. I freeze as I see Rayth standing there the fork at his throat as I glare at him. He laughs at me then grabs my hand twisting me and pulling him close to him as he hold me with my arms twisted across my chest. I just glare at him as I hear him laughing. I was impressed with him instead of just keeping me there he spun me out. I didn't know he could dance but then I didn't know him at all. I ignored him as I sat down again. I glared at Myean. "YOU COULD HAVE TOLD ME!"


I hadn't expected Chell to try and kill me for getting some of Myean's food. I stare at her loving the face she made as she glared at me. I should be scared she could do damage with that fork of hers but all I can do is laugh. I quickly twist her and pull her close tom me as I lean down and talk to her. "Don't ever hesitate if you do that could mean the difference from life and death. I just wanted a piece of Myean's food you didn't have to try and kill me. Who knew you where afraid of a hand." I laughed as I twist her out of my hold with a spin. She looked so graceful as he spun out. I gave her a slight bow then took a seat next to her.

laughing loudly at chells reaction i was smiling when i remarked "ah but that would have ruined the whole thing" flicking a piece of food at rayth i land it perfectly into his mouth before i take another drink

I stared at he as I crossed my arms and rolled my arms not amused. Ok I was but I wasn't going to let her know it or Rayth. I watched the cook as he brought out what looked like pasta for Rayth. It was smelling good to be honest. I looked at Rayth how did he know I loved bread and pasta maybe we could be friends. I was about to eat when the fork moved from my hand and walked to Rayth and nuzzled him then walked back to me and sat in my hand. I wasn't sure if I wanted to use it after that. I smiled and took the fork that rayth offered me.

I ate the food and thanked Myean giving her a nod. I was happy to see the pasta that the cook brought for me. I began to eat as I looked back at the chef. "I need one more bowl of this and some bread please." The chef smiled and did it happily. I gave the other bowl to chell and the bread. I gave her a wink so only she could see. I looked at the fork as it moved. "I take it that is your new friend.Well hello little friend." I laugh as I watched the fork go back to chell. I handed her another fork.
