Yo, whats up?

Not enough writing that's what

I managed to make my word count despite procrastinating all day and working on stuff for meneshew instead, even once the event ended I still procrastinated for like another hour. Took me an hour and a half but I finally sat down and just did it lol

How's your writing going?

I haven't written yet today, but I'm gonna start soon. I didn't write yesterday either, but I had a day's buffer on my wordcount so that's ok.

I would be having 4 straight day offs from office, including the weekends.
I plan to hit 20k by Tuesday.

Ah, I see. I thought about not writing yesterday and taking a day off but I couldn't do it lol

My next day off is Wednesday, and I have a lot of catching up to do...

I normally wouldn't take a day off, Gwena, but it was my mum's birthday, and my partner is visiting, so I actually didn't get a chance to sit down and do any writing because compulsory socialising.

I've gotten myself behind on my writing since I got a cold....

That happened to me the first year I tried Nanowrimo. I got about 25K in, and got a cold that turned into a sinus infection. I tried to write through it, but I pushed to hard to fast, and got writer's block.

I changed my desktop picture to something more inspiring for my story then took another nap. I've trucked through worse than this before, but god it's annoying.

Yup, stayed up late last night to make it in time, but hoping to rebuild my word buffer on my days off in the coming week.

that's good. Seemed like you didn't update your word count for a few days there.
I've been contemplating tattoos to give one of my characters instead of writing. Though the tattoos will be important in my next scene.

I use tattoos in just about all my stories. I them.
And I have been updating every day except for thursday, maybe the time of day I update means that you're asleep? Or something.

me too. It got ridiculous there for a second though. I went in with the idea that my character had two. After figuring out the third tattoo, I had to stop myself from looking for a forth. >.>

It's a modern story centering around a gay strip club in NYC.
