We all have things from our childhood that we have completely forgotten about, but while browsing the Internet or in idle conversation we occasionally come upon them and instant nostalgia comes on.

For me it is Pogs and 'Beetle Borgs'.
These lil things brought back so many memories of growing up and make me long to be a child again.

So what about for you? what makes you ache for your childhood once more?

my cute little stuffed animals. i always loved them growing up. whenever i pick them up, i think, i wish i were still a kid. T_T but i know that i can give them to my kids some day. altho, some of them are so precious to me, that i'm not ever giving them up. especially this toy bird i got on my first Christmas. that has always been my most favorite toy ever.

Ha! POGS.
Wow. Had so many of them and I collected slammers. What a fad, right?
Everyone had them then and if you talk about them now most people look at you like oO

Hmmm I can't think of anything so obscure as that off the top of my head but I was thinking
about my Teddy Ruxpin the other day. You shouldn't give a four year old a robotic teddy bear..
I thought he was real. Tried to give him some chocolate milk and then he never talked to me again.

I found my baby furby the other day. I turned it upside down and it went "AaaEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEE-"

FURBIES. Another "wow" - my mom still has a bunch of them.
I'm surprised the batteries weren't corroded, Casiana! Are you playing with it now?

I had got all my furbies out a year ago or so, maybe two years, to freak out the kids my mom was watching (they were like, 2). We have three large ones, and one baby (my fave). Then I stuck it on top of my bookshelf, and, well, they're really tall, so I kind of forgot about it.

Around the same time I used it to freak out people on the webcam :) But no, I didn't feel like replacing the batteries this time xD

i remember one time, my mom accidentally woke up the furby in my closet, and he was turned at an angle that scared him. he was like that for three days strait, yelling every few seconds.

some toys i remember were my poo-chi and meow-chi. those things were fun! i remember that the meow-chis actually had genders, but i cant remember i i found out mine's gender. it might have been a male.

I barely remember playing POGS with my brother, and sadly no matter where I look I can't find them anywhere. There were also these spiral circles that you could place a pencil in and draw some awesome designs but I don't remember what they were called nor can I find them anymore. Do any of you know what I'm talking about?

I remember Furbies, I had one for a long time until I saw the Chucky movies and from then on talking toys scared me. Furbies still give me the heebie jeebies.

Another thing I like to remember is all the Disney moveis I loved as a child and still love today as an adult. I still have all my old VHS movies.

Pogs and furbies!!! I remember all of those 8D, ah, and don't forget all the T.V. shows that used to be on Nick. Also Saturday's were actually worth waking up early in the morning to catch your favorite shows.

Tales of the Riverbank always makes me board the nostalgia train.

Both because I used to love watching it, and because my childhood pets were always small and furry, so watching little guinea pigs and hamsters waddle around brings that back, too.

Also, what about Magic Sand? In the water it's moldable, but it's dry once you pull it out! :O

I got strangely nostalgic for Sailor Moon, and Dragon Ball Z the other day. I loved toonami when I was in elementary and middle school. As for toys that I used to play with, my sisters and I had a whole army of furby's, and my middle sister had a Tickle Me Elmo.

I was introduced to Ruroni Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho from Toonami, a few of my oldest faves (I wasn't into anime when I was a kid, sadly).

Oh my goodness you found them, I could hug you. You have made my day! These things were the bomb back in my day. Ah, remember when you could say phrases like that and not get weird looks?

Every now and then I will smell oats or hey and I am reminded of a place called Mr. Bunkie's that I visited almost daily with my parents when I was maybe 4-8.
It was a gas station/cattle feed and supply/hardware store/grocery store/diner. It was an old log cabin loft. The diner, cattle feed, and hardware were downstairs and the groceries were upstairs in the loft along with some other farming supplies like bridles and dog collars boots. At the top of the staircase to the loft, there was a big white Cockatoo named Polly. He would chill in his cage or walk up and down the rail. I always played with Polly while I waited for my parents to shop. And when we ate there I would always eat cold pepperonis from the salad bar. And then there was the incubator on the front porch of Mr. Bunkie's that always had baby chicks in it. I loved to look at the chicks and sometimes we would buy some for out chicken coupe.
Those were the days. I miss Polly. He's passed away since then. But I'll always remember him. But I hear that Mr. Bunkie's is still out there, even 14 years later.

@Casiana I loved my Spirograph even though I could never get that cross-shaped one or the oval one to work right.

More nostalgia: SQUEEZ-ITs, the greatest and least healthy drink ever invented. The reason every summer was awesome, the reason my lips were always purple, and the reason I will probably have adult onset diabetes. Small price to pay, I'd do it all over again.

I also miss my Mr. Turtle pool, the little green pools you filled with a hose that had an incredibly small and pointless slide attached to it.

I did have to ask my mom, she was the true hero xD "Hey remember those things..."

I still say weird sayings, I don't care. "Say what?" "That was fly, yo!" I'm just weird tho

Ohhh! I had a mr. turtle pool. You mean that green thing in the shape of a turtle right? Only mine didn't have a slide thingie. My grandparents made it into a big sandbox instead of a pool! Me and my cousins played in that thing ALL the TIME! Oh how I miss those days.

Oh I remember the Mr. Turtle sand boxes, I never had one personally but they were wonderful.

Oh, Zoom, Out of the Box were some of the high points of my childhood. And speaking of Cow and Chicken, Angry Beavers, and Duck Rodgers; did anyone watch Ren and Stimpy, Ah! Real Monsters, and Hey Arnold? Or what about Rocko's Modern Life.

Ah, those were some good cartoon shows and some good times.
