So I was the first one in line when pokemon black and white came out. I was really excited about it because I've been waiting for two years for it.

When SoulSilver came out, I really didn't think much of it. But then I saw a review on youtube and I immediately ran into my car went to the nearest game stop and bought it. I love that game. It's such a great game, mostly because of the graphics and the different regions.

Now I bought Black and started playing as soon as I bought it. At first, I was amazed with the graphics in the beginning of the game..but as I started finishing it..I wasn't as impressed. I feel like the creators have run out of good pokemon. I mean come on, an ice cream pokemon? It's a little ehh. And all the bridges tend to give me headaches. In my opinion, I should of spent my 40 dollars on a better game. I stop every now and then to play soul silver instead which I think is a much better game instead.

What's your opinion? Which game did you like the most?

SoulSilver/the second gen will more than likely be my favourite Pokémon games for good. The addition of an extra region after the Pokémon league was an excellent idea, better than just expanding the pokedex in my eyes. It added extra gameplay. That and I personally think the first and second gen Pokémon are a lot better than any seen in the later generations.

I'm playing Black now and I like it, but it seems to be lacking something . . . I'm not particularly bothered by the Pokémon designs and such - not that I'd say I like many of them - but it feels a bit, well, rushed I suppose. And the twisting camera angles genuinely hurt my head. I spent the first half of the game begging for someone to give me fly to avoid the bridges. D:

I'd also like to add that I couldn't stand Diamond/the fourth gen games for some reason. I've played through it twice for the sake of my pokedex, but I still don't like it. I don't even know why really, I just don't enjoy it like the other gens.

I love Crystal above all. It was my first, and I like the girl character (Krys). Now that HGSS replaced her with Lyra, I'm definitely not impressed. I was so mad that I decided to make my character a guy xD I just don't like Lyra (esp. in the anime, but that's a different story).

ANYWAY, I have yet to purchase Black&White (specifically Black) because I want that dang Victini before it goes away. So I'm gonna go buy it as soon as April rolls around. I do agree though. Whoever creates these Pokemon are just running out of ideas, so it was getting annoying when I found out they were making (dun dun dun) even MORE Pokemon to be captured...'coz you gotta catch 'em all, right?

Let me stick to my original 151, and I'll be happy.

I like the originals, though my opinion is slightly biased, seeing as I haven't played anything after Ruby. What can I say? I lost interest. in Pokemon Red and Pokemon Silver, I could easily recall every pokemon, their type, weaknesses and what level they evolved at (approximately of course) My friends called me the human pokedex, though I still don't think of it as anything more then being passionate about the game. Pokemon Silver was one of my favourites, being the first I one I played while being old enough to understand whats going on XD Second Gen was amazing, but Pokemon Red shall always have a special place in my heart.
