Yay! so who knows some? I don't listen to a lot of cover artists, but I have two I've listened to a lot of their music:
Rockleetist (english dubs of vocaloid music and some disney songs)
and Geekymcgeekstein (english dubs of anime songs)
what do you guys got? Or am I the only one that bothers to follow cover artists on youtube?
Oh goodness. I love stuff like this! I was really into the dubbing community on YT for about six months back in....2010? I think. There are so many soloists, and groups that record and edit and mix. It's a fascinating world, and really fun to get into. I'm a bit rusty, let me see if I can pull up some of my favorite covers / groups~
2010 was six months back? oh nevermind. I can't read.
There definitely are a lot out there though. And that darn 'recommended vids' column just leads me from one cover artist to another. Rockleetist is the only channel I've ever subscribed to on youtube though.
edit: okay wow, Cherry. He is really good. I love that Taylor Swift cover! It's probably better than the original.

both of those are great, Aya! I haven't heard a german cover before. very nice. But really wow to that second singer because her voice is truly amazing.
Kate is so talented! She plays at least a dozen instruments, does her own music arrangements, and is so creative. She released an album within the last year or two. I'm not really up-to-date on the talents of YT today xD There are lots of soloists, but also a lot of groups; vocaloid, chorus, jpop dubbing, glee, disney, etc. It's so fun! Even though I'm not into vocaloids much, there are some amazing covers out there *has a playlist from a few years ago*
Stella Voci's Canon in D is my official thinking-reading song, for when I don't want any lyrics, just peaceful music.
I was actually messing around on my playlists just now trying to find an english dub of some vocaloid song I used to listen to, but I see it's been deleted. I never downloaded it either, but I did find a japanese cover that's very beautiful.
lol, I swear I listen to other covers besides Vocaloid, but I just have a convenient playlist of that I can pull from.
Canon in D is such a pretty song. Her vocals suit is well. Normally I only listen to that type of music if I'm trying to fall asleep though.
I liked Taylor Swift when she first started, but I don't even listen much to that type of music anymore.
I don't even know that song Mine, but it sounds pretty good to me.
I'm thinking of putting up a cover of my own; I don't play any instruments with any proficiency*, I just sing. XD But I at least want to try putting up SOMETHING. :P I'll be sure to put it in this thread when/if I do though!
*I can read sheet music for piano and know about 5 chords for guitar. XD
