So, just out of curiosity, how many of you lovely people on here have blogs. For example, tumblrs and such. I just made an anime/art tumblr, that I'm not connecting to my personal blog. So I'm curious, how many of you actually love to blog?

I has a Tumblr, I do. Been tumbrizing regularly for about two years now.

It's not a theme blog or anything specific, and not really a personal blog cause I don't write anything about myself cause i'm all boring and junk.

It's just a place to reblog stuff I find interesting.

I've got a tumblr too, though I hardly ever do anything on it except browse aimlessly like a zambie when I get bored haha

I have tried a couple of times to write legit blogs, usually during some of the harder times I've had in the past. Writing helped me cope, but I never made any of them public. I seriously love cooking though, and so I might end up starting a mini blog type thing to keep track of all the recipes my girlfriend and I try out together. I've seen a few of my friends do that, just write out the stuff they try and how it turns out, and even though they aren't made for other's entertainment, they seem to get popular.

I have a tumblr, I mainly just reblog things. Sometimes I post up my own things but it's rare. :)

I have a tumblr! I actually have three blogs.
There's my main blog, my inspiration blog, and my writing blog.
I wanted to have a separate blog for things to cheer me up,
and another for all of my darkest thoughts.

I have a blog on tumblr. It's a bit of a hodgepodge of a lot of stuff, but if it I were to claim a theme for it it's "inspiring, beautiful places and things." I post something on there about myself every once in awhile but people rarely care about that. I do have a couple loyal followers that I love but it's not a huge blog.

Mostly I reblog, but every once in awhile I put up something new and I tend to get some good success with those posts. I should do more of that but it takes way more effort to do that, lol.

Anyway my blog: http://seraphimalune.tumblr.com

I have a blog on Tumblr and I enjoy blogging for the most part, but I'm frustrated by the way the site's community handles things. It's like being trapped in a room with a bunch of people who jump on eachother for the smallest things but at the same time go around preeching about how you should only love your neighbor. It's a little scary actually. Not to mention the misinformation thing. I'm half ready to find another place to blog, but I feel like there isn't a point since all of my friends use the more popular site and I'd miss out on the interaction.

*raises hand* me me me meee. I have a tumblr blog, and I find it really fun. I also find that it is a great way to express my feelings to people who won't make fun of me because I know I'm sharing them with people who have the same feelings. I don't know, I just find it interesting and addicting. I also follow a couple of real life friends there, and I also met so many great people (even though I only have like 40 followers, lol I just started earlier this month).

I blog about everything, from my interests to quotes that describe me, etc. I usually just reblog, but I do sometimes post my own posts and people ignore me lol.

I agree with this. It's making me so tired and frustrated I've contemplated leaving but then I think of the small amount of people I've actually come to befriend and then I think I'll miss out on something ahh. It's a love hate relationship really.

Also, tumblr has given me the most wrong outlook on life. It makes me think that I should have done so many more great things by now and what I should look like etc. It's this huge illusion.

@ Bearzy HEY YOU! :D Currently giggling at the fact that the first thread I'm commenting in is blog related and that I found you in it! XD

@ roboticfalsegod hey do you have a syndromeonline account or something because I could SWEAR I've seen you somewhere before!

---------- Post added 07-02-2013 at 05:13 AM ----------

Also I blog A LOT but you probably don't want to see my blog as it's filled with a bunch of personal stuff and I'm kind of really weird and scary so yep. XD

I've had a mainly positive experience on tumblr so far.

I've had a mainly positive experience because that is literally one of the only sites I've made a bunch of friends on. Like I know half of the people I care about from that place and it's one of the only places I can talk about all my weird shipping stuff so it's kind of my main hang out.

Plus I like blogging mainly because I get to shout in the void and people may or may not listen and respond and that's a nice feeling. I feel like I wouldn't have as many people in the void to communicate with if I used Wordpress or something similar as it's not as popular a site with people my age (as of now) compared to Tumblr.

that's just me though.

Wow sorry I'm mega chatty this morning. O_o;

Y e p.
It's hard to pull yourself away from it because there ARE things to love about it. There are some positive things as well and a lot of innocent fun and it's brought so many amazing people together. Despite other things, I've met a lot of incredible people just through a blogging network and I feel like I couldn't get that on another site. I feel like most blog sites don't have that sort of networking capability and that's one of the biggest draws of Tumblr for me.

I think the whole outlook thing exists in some way for every user. Tumblr has taught me that I'm not allowed to have an opinion because I am always wrong and I will never be allowed to defend myself because someone is always capable of screaming louder. On the other hand, I know people who Tumblr has had the exact opposite effect on, where it taught them to believe in things.

It's interesting to look at all the things people have taken away from blogging sites and the internet experience in general. Personal experience with anything is fascinating.

I think my Tumblr habits are possibly the least friction-causing then. I just reblog pictures and I find that a delightful means of procrastination. Going back through my Tumblr archive is a great way for me to destress and improve my mood. I don't see any of the drama. If someone I follow starts getting drama-laden, I unfollow them, I don't need that polluting my Tumblr experience.

I've unfollowed people before for being utter jerks to their followers on Tumblr. I followed this one guy for about two weeks and he had some beautiful photos he'd post but every time someone sent him an anon or fan mail he'd reply to them calling them "dicks" and every other nasty word in the English language. They could be COMPLIMENTING him and he'd do that. He must've had a Napoleon complex of the nether regions to be such an ass, but I couldn't take it anymore and got rid of him.

I'm constantly on Tumblr, haha. I usually reblog pretty graphics of video games and TV shows. Occasionally I get into a debate regarding feminism, but other than that, I don't really focus on posting my thoughts.

I don't know why, but for some reason it really surprised me to see just how big feminism is on Tumblr. It's quite impressive and refreshing, actually.

i love tumblr. it has completely altered my sense of humor and people who don't blog don't understand. I have a pretty interesting personal blog. I generally reblog colored hair, tattoos, quotes, and some alternative fashion.
