The last movie I saw was Stardust. I thought it was good.. it reminded me of those cheezy 80's fantisy movies (like the Laberinth or Princess Bride). I liked it a lot! 3.5/4 stars xD
I'm going to see The 11th Hour tonight. I'll let you guys know if it's any good.

Saw Bourne Ultimatum at the cinema recently. I thought it was amazingly amazing. I hadn't even seen the first two, and I still loved it. It was fairly easy to follow (for not having known anything about it previously besides very general stuff), and the action was like, again, amazing. I love the spy-thriller feel of it.
Uhh 8.5/10, probably. Or 9. I sorta got a headache watching it, but sitting in the 3rd row might have been a reason. XD;
At home, I saw Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. :> Gawd I love that movie. I love the end, the director's differing take on it (in comparison to the first two), and also, err, how there is like, so much Draco/Tom. Kekeke. <33

I watched "Volver" last night. I really enjoyed it. It was a fairly humorous approach to a pretty serious subject. All of the acting was really great, too. I think it gets a 9/10 from me~

Today I got to go out and watch the Simpsons movie with my husband and son. It was a good movie, I thought. It stayed true to the TV series... all the way down to the advertizing of other shows during it ^.^; I haven't watched the show recently so I must of forgotten how "rude" it is ^.^; But it was still amusing.
Basic plot... Let's see. Springfield is becoming polluted... Lisa decides to do her best to change the town (As usual)... They decide to clean up their act but just at the last second something terrible happens and Springfield is now in a heap of trouble. The government has cut them off from the rest of the world. And the town blames Homer... What will happen to the town? Will Homer save the day? All this and more! : o In the movie ^.^;
I'd give it an 8/10 as a rating.

Watched "Hero" for the second time last night, and I have to say it's one of my favorite movies ever. The whole feel of the movie is absolutely beautiful, and with the very artistic style of directing, there's a lot that's left open to interpretation. From the other review of it I've seen, people seem to take very different things away from this movie, which I think is really interesting. In spite of the very stylized nature of the film, though, it's really not pretentious - if you go into it just expecting to see some awesome martial arts, you won't be disappointed, either XD I would not hesitate to give "Hero" a perfect 10/10.

The last thing I saw in the cinema was Transformers :D It was so shiny, even if there was way too little Starscream in it for my liking. I kind of wanted to hug Bumblebee, even though he's kinda...big. And roboty :P
4/5
At home I saw Hot Fuzz again. I seriously love this film.. anything Simon Pegg's had a hand in creating tends to be utter win. It's hilarious and amazingly quotable XD

Few days ago, I watched the original "The Poseidon Adventure". I rather enjoyed it. The suspense is pretty much constant through the whole movie - just when the characters (and you!) can take a breather, there's more water. And, while a few of the characters irritated me, the way they irritated each other also helped keep things interesting. I haven't seen the remake, but I'm satisfied with the original. 7/10, at least =D

- I saw a great, new Icelandic film last night with my little brother. It's called Astrópía. Hilariously funny, with the cuuuuuuuutest geeks ever (I just wanted to hug them all throughout the film!!) and role-playing and adventures and hilarious Shawshank Redemption referrals.
In short, I loved it to pieces, and it was probably the most fun Icelandic movie I've ever seen. Unlucky for you all it's in Icelandic. :Ð

I watched High School Musical 2 on the 101 on DirectTV. I don't think I would've watched the show for a long time, but it was free showing!
I'll give it 8/10 because I never like watching the main character going off the track so everyone else in the movie hates him, etc.
The music score was still very good, and they showed Corbin more this time!
Oh yeah, the only condition in watching it free was a lot of disney commercials after the movie. They introduced a new disney cartoon series and a stupid show calle "When the Bell Rings" which stunk to high levels.

Just got back from the new Mr.Bean flick. It was pretty good, and the pacing of the film and humorous spots were well-done. You didn't get to the point of "oh god, not another gag," and the few jokes that ran throughout the movie were done well, and not to the point where they became tiresome.
Not worth the exorbitant theater fees, but a good matinee show in which to hide from the outside sun for an hour and a half.
RATING- 7.5/10

I've recently watched 2 movies:
1. Crash - 7.5/10 - Husband loved this one and it was pretty enjoyable, but I guess it just wasn't very...pleasant...to watch, in seeing everyone's attitude toward other races. But I guess that was the point of it all. Still, there were a few things in there that I really liked.
2. Zathura - 7.5/10 - This one was fun. I had always said I didn't want to see it because it was a Jumanji ripoff and sure enough, it really was a Jumanji ripoff, but that's ok because it was by the same author. Anyhow, though the premise wasn't new, I found myself enjoying it more than Jumanji.

I just saw MirrorMask... Written by Neil Gaiman and directed by Dave McKean.... I can't begin to explain how much I love that film.... I could see it over and over and over again... It's very artsy and pretty, but also has an amazing plot with excellent characters and witty comments...
If you're not into computerised things, you probably won't like it... Most of the time is spent in a dreamworld where everything is blurry and very obviously computer-made... It doesn't have much action to it either, it's very child-friendly... I like that about it... It's different, but still amazing, and I can see it with my kids (when I have them) Really my favourite film... WATCH IT!!

I just watched The Illusionist last night, and I gotta say...
Ouch. >_o
It wasn't nearly as good as I expected it to be. The floating and disappearing effects weren't smooth and believable enough for me, and the plot resembled The Prestige (a movie that I love!) too much for my liking.
I'll give it a rating of four and a half out of ten.
