If you're wanting to get into dolling I could give you a few links via PM. I'm into dolling as well. =)

For your fist doll it's pretty good. Mine was superbly crappy. =)

For C/C I have a few things. Don't forget about highlights. Right now you just have the base colour and shadow so it's partially 3D but I know you want to go higher right? =) So, keep that in mind.

Also, did you tool shade or pixel shade?

And when you create dolls, don't forget to credit the base maker. That's only if you didn't make the base yourself. =)

Sorry for the late reply. I hadn't seen that you'd replied earlier.

Tool shading means you use tools, usually in Photoshop, like the dodge and burn and blur tool to create a doll. It's not true pixeling because it ends up looking like a 3D piece of work than something comprised of pixels.

Pixel shading means you do it all with pixels and nothing else. =) That's what true dolling and pixel art is about.

Hope that helps.

That is very good for you're first doll, a lot better than mine was. It's cute, you'll see the more you doll the better you get, though it does get a bit addicting and trouble some when your suppose to be doing home work, lol. But nice job. :D

@Silhouette: Ohh okay i get the difference, and nope i didnt use tool shading, i did it pixel by pixel which is why i had to throw my glasses on XD.
although i have tired the tool shading i tried it yesterday, it works
really well for making hair XD but i understand how pixel art is suppose to be pixel by pixel and thats howi want to do it. [ijust found a tutorial for hair so i tried it]

@sam_doll: ya im acutally working on a new doll and im taking more time
and she is coming out much better. it is addicting although it hurts my eyes after awhile. so i have to constantly break away from it.

@Caelume: thanks a bunch!
