I love Dean Koontz, just his style of writing keeps me intrigued; especially tick tock.

Sadly, I haven't read much of Dean Koontz's books. I've read one.. but I can't remember the title of it for anything. It was really good though. . .

Right now I'm reading Darkest Evening of the Year. Good book for those of you who like books about the relationship between humans and dogs. But if I had to list a favorite book by him, I'd have to say that I really enjoyed Life Expectancy. Good read for those of you who are interested. Good on humor, and a good overall story.

I've only read one Dean Koontz book and I disliked it so much that I never read another one. I took a class in highschool called novel where the whole point was just that you read books. There weren't really tests or anything. One of the books she often gave to students who didn't know what they wanted to read next was The Watchers by Dean Koontz.
I liked it for about the first third of the book and then when you found out the motivation of the monster it just got kind of pathetic. I finished it because I don't stop in the middle of books but since then I've never been motivated enough to read any more of his stuff.

The first book I read by him, and my favourite, is The Voice of the Night. And I also liked The Face. I've read about five others of his, but I'm losing interest. D:

Y'know, i've read more than a few Dean Koontz novels, but I can't remember 'em right now. And I do think he's pretty good author. Hmmm...

The only one that sticks out in my mind at the moment is Odd Thomas. That I remember enjoying. *SPOILER! HIGHLIGHT TEXT* It was sad when his girlfriend died at the end. That bummed me out. *sad face*

I'll have to think of some others when me brain isn't so scrambled.

I LOVE Dean Koontz. I have read sme of his books, but the best ones that I liked are Hideaway, Dark Rvers of the Heart, Watchers and some others that i can't name. I also liked tick tock i thought that was FABULOUS!!! I am currently reading From the Corner Of His Eye, and so far it's pretty good, but incredibly long.

I liked The Coming, The Face, By the Light of the Moon, and I loved, LOVED the Frankenstein books he collaborated on. I'm growing very frustrated though that they haven't put out the third, which they advertised would be done a couple years ago. Instead we got the latest Odd Thomas and that other one with the golden retriever on the cover. I do some amateur writing, so I realize it's difficult, but an update would be nice.

Ok I have to say one of my favorite Dean Koontz books is DarkFall. I also like The Funhouse, The Taking & Life Expectancy. I'm working on two books right now but my next one will be Strangers. Later!

Dean Koontz is fun in small doses but if I read his books too close together I notice similar themes and things that start to annoy me. Also, I don't really like his new books.

Are those the books by Dean Koontz? I've been meaning to read those! (Of course, I have 'been meaning' to read dozens of books.) I really do need to read them, this is the third time I've heard they were good!

I just read the Darkest Evening of the Year by Dean Koontz, and I really enjoyed it. It was a fantastic read, even though the end was a little flakey. I liked it so much that I (finally) picked up Odd Thomas at the library the other day. I have yet to read it, but I look forward to it. I have heard nothing but good things about it!

I have read almost all his work.

I love everything about all of them. I enjoyed Tick Tock, but it definitely wasn't my favorite.

Ooh what's that one about? I saw someone reading it over the course of last weekend but they always seemed too annoyed at their 2 year old for me to feel like asking... xP

I read Fear Nothing about Chirstopher Snow with XP and thought it was an awesome book. <3 Plus it helped me to understand XP better for when I saw Taiyou no Uta yesterday. <33 (Title translation: Song of the sun... it's a Japanese drama)

I love Scootie! He's my favorite character in that book. And Tofu boy.

There's another book after that, called Seize the night. Same characters. I haven't been able to really get into it yet, but I think it'll be just as good as, if not better than Fear Nothing.

The first Koontz book I ever read was Watchers when I was in middle school. After that I was hooked. I haven't been able to read much of him after Odd Thomas came out. I've been busy with work, and other book series' and such. I need to get back to that.
