This is for my graphics design class and we're on a project to make a stamp for our school. Our school's mascot are lancers.
During my first sketch and we had a class critique, my cropping was bad 'cause there were a few things cut out of the picture and it was kinda boring. This is my second attempt at it.
Excuse the dark spot in the corner. >.> My sketch book is too big for my scanner. And excuse it if it's too light. XD; Aaaand, sorry it's a bit fuzzy. x.x
I've been told the lancer looks a bit feminine...
So, I'd love more comments and critiques. :) I'm working on finalizing it this weekend.
Edit: LOL, I didn't link the picture.
HORSIIIIIIIIE.
Revised.
I haven't gotten any real critiques from anyone just yet...Since it's due tmorrow (9/25) and I finished ahead of time. I changed the front legs and tried to make it look more 'aggressive'. I don't think I did so well. And it looks like the lancer is falling off the horse. XD; And the lance is small, but I wanted it within the frame. ^^; And anyways, it's to be a stamp, it wouldn't look great is things were cut off...Damn hind legs...

YAY! A post. :)
Ah, well, I'm not sure about that. o.o The armor's detail isn't the greatest. I don't draw these things often and I used reference for the horse. x3 *doesn't know the anatomy*

o.o;;; Good job on the lancer! The horse's front right leg looks kind of weird. ;>.>
Good job on it overall, though. Is it going to be colored?

- If you're aiming for something that would look realistic, I would suggest that you fix the horse's front legs, as they seem to be too short.
And look at the part where the hind legs of the horse and the lancer's leg intersects? you should draw a line showing the termination of the leg (the one that's cropped out of the scanned image)
You may also want to make the lance longer, about 150% longer than it is now ^_^
As for the lancer being feminine, you can fix that by making the armor's chest and shoulder guard bulkier(including the arm). Here's a good example:

Good luck on your project ^_^

It's difficult for my to see, but from what I can distinguish, the horse and helmet look good.
We need a nod emoticon, I wanted to put one here, but we don't have one.

Thank you for the comments everyone!
@ Mage - Horses aren't my forte, I suppose. XD
Eventually it'll be colored.
@ Caeluma - Thanks. :]
@ yanyan13 - Yeah...I'm not too knowledgeable on horse anatomy, I used a reference. I tried not to make the lance too short because it had to fit within the size we're given. And I was told about my bad cropping. XD
Thanks for the help! :D
@ Sanctuary - Ah, sorry it's light. I only resized after I scanned it.
XD

For some reason the horse's legs seem a bit fat...or short...or both...but I really like this - you draw armor very well and the dynamics of the pose are very nicely done :D ANd I love knights and horses sooo... :D beautiful job :D keep drawing :D

Thanks! I think Medieval type thins are cool. And now that you bring up the legs...they do seem like it. ^^; All those details were made up by me as I went on. XDD
Thanks for the help once again. *nod*

Pretty good on the revisions! However, the horse's legs look like there's one more joint that it shouldn't have...
Here's something for you to reference, it's done by my friend: here.

In defence of Eesu, her joints are correct. Check out the horse on this site:
