I'm not OCD, but people who know me swear that I am. Little things erk me, like when I'm in the car listening to the radio. If the radio station ends with an odd number, the volume has to be an odd number, and visa versa with even numbers. (Example, if I'm listening to station 99.5, the volume has to be on 21 and not 20) Other things like my closet, the clothes have to be in order starting with tank tops, then t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, sweatshirts, and finally dresses. Within each category the clothes have to be in ROYGBIV order. Don't even get me started on the coat hangers. If you look at the rest of my room, you'll see I'm really not a neat and tidy person, my room is a mess!
So, what things do you do that other people may find weird? Any weird rituals or traditions that you absolutely have to do? Anything else this discussion inspired you to chat about :]
edit: If you post in a thread I make, I will try my best to respond to you, so make sure you check back every once in awhile!

- I'm kind of like that too! Some things bother me, and some don't.
Like, I HATE when people write on my papers at school. I can't stand it. Also, all the hangers in my closet have to be the same... No mis-matching aloud. XDD

- Oh dear lord. I'm EXACTLY like that. I also have an aversion to things that can't be paired up. So Odd numbers drive me crazy. Almost everything I do has to be done in multiples of two. Not to mention I'm am a huge perfectionist. To the point if my name doesn't look neatly on the head of a paper I'll crumple it up and start over. Probably why I type everything now.

I don't have OCD. I am just particular about some things.
Like, my bed has to be made a certain way otherwise I won't be able to sleep.

Everyone is OCD to an extent about something and what you explained there is an ocd, sorry but it is (o_o)
Now the clothing thing in my would just be you being organized. But I don't know *shrugs* Not sure about it having to be in a color scheme though XD
I can't really put my finger on anything I am ocd aboutXD Which probably is for the better :3

That first thing sounds a LITTLE OCD. Or just weird. That second one can be argued that you're just being neat, or that you take good care of your clothes.
My OCD things are as follows:
I can't touch certain types of paper if they are really rough-feeling, like that brownish graphing paper or sand paper. It makes me gag and I have no idea why.
If I am walking down stairs or a sidewalk, and I have stepped over a stair or crack with one foot, I have to step over an equal amount of stairs or cracks with the other. If I don't, it just doesn't feel right.
If one of my fingers gets pinched, I have to pinch all of my other fingers so they all feel equal.
I have big issues with things being equal and symmetrical. If something doesn't "feel" right, I have to do certain things until it does.
On my AIM buddy list, I don't feel right if anything below the first category or name is highlighted. If I DO click on other names, I have to click up and down until it feels right, or even.
Whenever I touch my face, or skin or someone else, I always have to wipe my hand or whatever touched whatever it was on my shirt or pants.
If there is a pile of papers on a desk or something, I have to make sure they are all straight and aligned with each other, making sure the tops of all of the papers are straight.
EDIT: I also have a ritual for falling asleep in my bed, but it is WAY too elaborate to type here.
I don't know if these things are actually OCD, or if I'm just weird. I have never been diagnosed or anything like that, but it seems to get worse when I'm at school.

Oh my! I think I might be OCD. I'm weird about things. I can't handle mess, once I start cleaning there's not stopping me. Also, I can't stand papers being out of order or is disarray. It drives me nuts when papers are mismatched insize, too! I guess I'm more neurotic over OCD. Though, some people think I'm weird because of how I have to have things organized and organzing and stuff calms me down.

I do things like that.
xD
Heres a list:
-My mp3 player volume must be on an even number.
-I absolutely must walk on side walks with two steps in each sqaure. No more no less.
-I can't eat red gummy bears. D:
-My shoestrings all have to be evenly spaced.
-My pandy hat ears must be slanted forward.

-walk wher both my feet hit an even number of concrert blocks, and have the same number of steps
-breathe with sounds (liek if a song was playing id start to breath to it)
-Make sure my eyes blink different number of times.
-have my arms touch things at teh same exact time
-east with ten or twenty bites exactly(i alsmot chcked tpo death becuase of that)\
-and weirdest of all, i can eat cereal with milk unless i opoen the milk bottle.... [i usually dont ge t cereal becuase of that :)]

I have a numbers thing too- only I'm obsessed with even numbers, especially four; because four is two twos, and it's square, so it's VERY even, also it has four letters in its name.
So, say, if I'm walking down the street and my right foot steps on a crack, my right foot has to step on three more cracks, then I have to step on four cracks with my left foot, to make it even.
Also, whenever I'm eating anything, I have to chew it four times on both the left and right side of my mouth.
It's annoying.

@Mozzetti- I wish all my hangers matched, but apparently my mom can't buy the same kind of hangers! I swear when I buy my own house I'm going to make sure I get all the same, nice, wood, hangers x)
@Midnight Raver- Haha, that is a weird one! It's okay, when I'm eating a cookie or something else in the shape of a circle I have to eat all around the edges and than the middle, if that makes sense.
@Shrii- Oh wow, if I was a perfectionist I'd probably have driven myself crazy by now considering everything I do is a little off. Hah, I've erased my name from the top of my paper a few times because it didn't look quite right.

In the middle of the night, if I get up to go to the bathroom or something then I have to flash my bedroom light as I re enter my room.
Also, everything on my desk has to be in a specific order.
I also don't like the blinds of my window open.

I think everyone is. It can be big or small. Like I clean my silverware before putting it into a different food. Like if I have say a piece of turkey I'll eat it, clean my fork, and put it in potatoes. I always clean them, no matter what.

Coat hangers at school? They had numbers on them. I used to be teased for ALWAYS putting my coat on an odd number. I couldn't put it on an even number. It had to be on an odd one.
And you know when you've burned a new CD of your songs? Well, if the ending of one of the songs doesn't go with the beginning of the next song, I get depressed, and I won't listen to the CD ever again. Whenever I touch it when I'm going through my CDs, I get this weird feeling and I HAVE to put it at the bottom of the pile.
'>.>
I get freaked when the plates don't match on the table, too.
It used to be that if I did something with one hand, I'd have to do it with the other.. [eg, tap the table four times.] I've gotten over that, though. ^^

when i microwave things,
i can't stop it to check the food,
unless the time ends in a five or a zero.
and when people give me change when i buy something,
i keep the cash and the quarters,
but i hand everything else to whoever's with me,
because i can't stand having random change.
plus when i have an odd amount of cash,
i usually give someone a dollar,
because i hate having odd amounts of money.
and you know how in itunes, you can put album art?
ALL of my music has to have album art,
and it all has to be really organized.
i also can't stand having smudges on my phone, my computer screen, or my ipods.
that's probably the reason i don't let people touch my stuff. xD
edit: oh. and i also used to have to chew my food twenty times before i swallowed it.
that was when i was little though.

I always sort out my cards after a game in to suit and by number ascending and then I put them away.
Trading card games are my anathema. I try to sort them out but it is futile. D= They all overlap so much!

technically, you don't have to be neat to have OCD ^^;
I like to think of myself as having Monk-like habits (for those who have seen the tv show). I prefer things to be even from each other or for stuff on a table to be facing the same way. Plus, things must be organized big to small... And when I'm at home, every couple of minutes, I have to get up and run up and down the stairs...

That isn't full on OCD but a professional would state that you do have OCD tendiencies. Believe me I know, I'm also like that. And I also have a messy room, but I prefer to think of it as organized choas. Everything has it place, when my room is 100% spotless I can't find anything!
