Hey everyone...I guess I'll start a little thread here too. Don't know how well I'll keep it up, but I'll certainly try!

Here's my current WIP - I'm aiming to attack the body/scales and fins tonight, if I can stop wasting time, darnit! I'm just leaving the link, just in case it seems to adult...not sure of the rules for picture posting here. I figure once I get the scales and whatnot added in, that'll be her "clothing." And then I need to get going on the rest of the composition...

Oh, I'm still there. If I do any commissions, it's now through auction, though I may end up commissions later on the summer or something through my journal. I've not decided yet.

Wow, the wip is really impressive ! I never tried to do such impressive cg. And I only do portrait pencil of female. I would love to see those scales :D

Oh wow, Aliena... that's GORGEOUS! I love how the scales look like silk that's attached to her fine body. This is really really gorgeous! *[]* <3

Its' really amazing O.o the wip was impressing but the final result is astonishing. The scales are really amazing. That most takes so long. O.o

I've seen you on Gaia, and I adore your work. I'm glad to see you here too. Your mermaid piece is looking stunning so far, I love the fluidness of the pose, and the sense of motion with it. Can't wait to see it all come together. Seeing your mermaid and Michelle84's new mermaid piece really makes me want to do one. ^^

Edit: Oh I just saw the finished piece and it's jaw-dropping. I love the ornamentation you've put on her, and the school of fish. It's perfect. ^_^
