Yes Man, we saw it for my mom's birthday. 2/10. Ugh. Waste of my time. It was boring, cliche, not funny, had no actual plot, and I just did not like it. :/ I smiled a few times, but it was not worth it. I don't particullarly like watching movies, and when I do, I want them to be good. Yes Man was... it was not. At all.

Little Miss Sunshine
4/5
It was good. That was one extremely weird family. I just missed the ending, because we had company. Bummer.
The Next Karate Kid
4/5
It wasn't the first time I've seen it by far. It was my favorite movie for a while. Some of the acting isn't that believable. But, it's interesting enough to keep me coming back to it.

I saw Bedtime Stories yesterday. Some parts of it were actually funny, yet other parts were childish, i thought.
Lucy Lawless (from Xena Warrior Princess) was in it, though, and that's the first time i've seen her in a movie and not a tv show. Even though she was just an evil hotel desk lady, she was good in it.

I just watched War, Inc. I'm going to give it a 7.5 out of ten. It was an interesting watch, but it got a little crazy at points. It does it's job of being a satire, but it was generally just a little too strange. A little part at the end was a little predictable and I'm a bit ticked that this part at the end kinda... didn't tell me what happened. It looked like something was going to happen and then it cut off.
That is really hard to describe without giving anything away.

I just watched Serenity. Awesome movie. 9/10, because it didn't resolve some key points of the series and they killed a beloved character. I hate that...

I would give it a 8; it wasn't a traditional comedy, but I thought it was pretty witty

The Dark Knight
I don't get to go to the theater much since we aren't really rich so it was back then that I went last and I got it on DVD and watch it then too. I'd say it gets a 9/10 since I don't give 10s :3 But it is a wonderful movie. Heath Ledger did Joker so well and I'd give anything to have him as the Joker again if it weren't for his sad ending =(

I watched about a dozen movies during my break from the internet. I'll rate half now and half later.
Waitress
4/5
I love this movie. I saw it a while ago and loved it, and I watched it a lot last weekend. It's kind of a cute movie but in a strange way.
Definitely, Maybe
4/5
Another cute movie. I like Ryan Reynolds and Abigail Breslin. I liked the story. I kind of guessed the ending. So, while it was a little sad, it was mostly happy.
Georgia Rule
4/5
Much better than I had expected. I'm not a huge Lohan fan. I love Dermot Mulroney, though. I hadn't known he was in the movie, so it was a nice surprise.
27 Dresses
3/5
This one wasn't as good as I had expected. I thought it would be funnier. It was still an OK movie.
Music & Lyrics
3.5/5
I saw this before. I like it. I like Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant. It's just not great. Not something I would want to watch repeatedly, but I like watching it every now and then.
P.S. I Love You
5/5
Awesome movie. I cried and cried and cried. I had expected the usual happy ending, so it was kind of a disappointment, but it kept it realistic. Who could move on from that amazing husband that quickly anyway? Loved it. One complaint: James Marsters looks so much better with the bleach blond hair. I didn't even recognize him at first.

What is the last movie you watched? And what is the last movie you went to see in the theater?
The last movie I watched was Pirates of the Caribbean 3. Last one I saw in theater was Bolt.

No Reservations
3.5/5
I saw this once when it had just came out. It's a cute movie. Again, I like Abigail Breslin. She's a really good child actress.
Juno
4.5/5
I loved this movie. I didn't expect to. I was kind of debating whether I really want to watch it or not, but I'm glad I did. I was rooting for Mark, though.
In the Land of Women
4/5
Different from what I expected from the previews. But it was a good different. His grandma made me laugh. I liked it.
I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry
4/5
It was a good comedy. It definitely made me laugh. It was one of those movies that you just have to tell other people parts of it. It had Adam Sandler... I love Adam Sandler movies usually. This fit the bill.
Things We Lost in the Fire
5/5
I love it. Another one that didn't have the stereotypical happy ending, but it was realistic. I like that. Plus... Benicio Del Toro? Yum. I've loved him since I saw him in Excess Baggage. I love how he talks all slow.
Snakes on a Plane
3/5 - For what I saw of it.
This movie creeped me out. I watched the first part until the snakes were released. Then, I had to turn it. Bobby Cannavale was in it, though. So, I kept turning back to it to see if it was showing him. Every time, something scared me, so finally, I just turned it and didn't attempt to watch it again.

I watched Imagine Me and You with my girlfriend last week, and we both adored it. The film is lovely, and I honestly never thought I'd see a wholesome chick flick lesbian family movie. I loved Luce, who is a bold and clever sort of character. Both of the female protagonists are understated, really, but with strong and charming personalities nevertheless.
Coop was hilarious, as was H. They both win my minor-character awards. Anthony Stewart Head also did a sweet and inspiring job in the role of Rachel's father, and I've never before seen him play a cowtowed character. He managed it convincingly and compellingly.
I might be biased though-- I'm a fan of his from both Buffy and Merlin.
10/10 for the movie.
I must be biased, actually... I'm a fan of the song, too. :boogie:

Last movie I saw was Slumdog Millionare. That has to be the greatest Indian movie I've seen. I seriously have to give it a 10/10. It had comedy, drama, and romance in perfect doses. I would so see it again and I recommend it to all my Mene-buddies.

I heard Slumdog was awesome!
I saw Inkheart. IT WAS SO BAD. I guess younger children would like it, but I found it boring and so cliche. It seemed as though it was like the Adam Sander movie, Bed Time Stories. Inkheart was about these people, Silvertongues, who when they read allowed characters and stuff from the book would come to our world. The book, Inkheart, was read and the mom got sucked in and the evil characters were brought out. And you should know the rest. It was the same after the same through out the movie. Maybe the book is better...?
Shadow, I saw Underworld the night it came out. (:

OMG, yes! I saw it in the movie theater and I realized it was such a waste of money >.<" the movie was terribly done! Brandon Fraser is far too good of an actor to act in such a movie... The movie script was at first, really slow... and then it got too fast like everything was supposed to happen in 15 minutes! everyone bad must die in 15 minutes... it was too easy of an ending and the villain was hardly a villain... he wasn't scary at all... neither was he funny, which meant, he was just there...
The book probably would've been better since it was a best seller and all... but the movie, ugh... really bad >.<"
Last movie I watched was more like a rewatch actually since I saw it in the theater already.
Its a Chinese movie called Red Cliff Part 1, directed by john woo
I'd give it a 9/10 and a must watch for those who love ancient history
The movie starts out really normal and if you don't really have much knowledge on Chinese hisotry, it could get a little confusing since its based on a book called the Romance of the three kingdoms. But even without knowledge, the movie is entertaining because it shows ancient chinese war tactics being carried out. Its pretty amazing watching those tactics being executed in the movie. The actors are all A-list Chinese actors who are practically veterans, some with real martial arts skills and the setting for the entire movie is beautiful... the landscapes of the mountains and how the built the traditional fortresses were really well done. I also love how the movie expresses brotherhood and friendship and the true art of war... instead of the kinds of wars we have now =.="
The problems I had with the movie are the fact that there are inaccuracies with the original book... and also the blood splattering parts which looked a little fake as the were more like exploding waterballoons with red ink rather than blood >.<"

The last movie I saw was Marley & Me. Despite what everyone else says. I didn't like it. Mostly because one I was dragged to see it. But anyways I found the movie very boring. I don't really think it deserves all the hype its getting.
Let me just save you a lot of trouble: Its basically following the life of a dog and his two owners. He's the world's worst dog. He tears up everything in the house, eats mangos, and basically takes control over the owners instead of the other way around.
The reason why it is so sad: Because you see this dog from pup to oldie. You watch his whole life. Everyone in the theater was tearing up crying. Even my father. MY FATHER. I think I was the only one in the theater that wasn't. I guess a movie about a dog really isn't my thing.
Now, I'm not all cold and heartless. Sure it is a good movie but definitely not what I would recommend to pay 6 to 7 dollars to watch in theaters. I'd probably rate this under 'RENTALS', meaning that its best to watch it at home and not waste a trip to the theaters and get over priced popcorn.
Another movie I watched was Twilight. I didn't even finish it, I literally walked out of the theatre towards the end. I've read the books. They're good reads but now that I think about it anything is better than Twilight. This includes the film. I have never seen such a horrible display of acting skills. I've heard that they were going to recast Jacob. Mistake number one, fine he didn't speak but the kid is actually a pretty good picture of Jacob Black. Now, as for replacement I'd replace Bella. I'm sorry Kristen Stewart really doesn't do it for me. She makes Bella come off as a bit too cold and her acting skills are just so...bland. If you research her past roles. She does the EXACT same thing. And Edward...is it just me or does his face look like he's constipated every shot?
And the filming. My God. It looked like hacked up pieces of film that were just glued together at the last minute. As a rating I give it 'RENTAL' as well. And to the people who actually liked Twilight please don't kill me. I just really really didn't like this movie. Paying for this film was a waste...I so can't wait to see Coraline. Will probably make my movie going experience better.

The last movie I saw was "Body of Lies". It excited me with espionage and action, but I still wonder how the Turkish viewers who saw it didn't rise up with torches and pitchforks in spite of all the "Muslims are all terrorists" shenanigans. I could give it 6 out of 10. I've seen better spy movies.

I love watching movies so I ended up watching another one...
Step Up 2: The Streets:
Soooo much better than I expected! I was actually quite disappointed with Step Up 1 considering how off the storyline was and that there wasn't as much excitement in the dancing as I thought. The characters can even be considered somewhat sissyfied in my opinion. Too much drama, not much dancing. Well, this one had a lot of dancing and the choreography was nothing short of amazing! every dance battle was something new to watch, and I keep rewatching the movie just to see those parts. They had a lot of creative ideas and elements to each dance and the girls were really good! Definitely up to par with the guys. The movie setting was very fitting to the movie, clothes design as well. There was a lot of effort in casting as it seemed like the actors, though were most probably dancers by profession had good acting skills!
One of the problems I had with it would probably be the pace of the movie, how fast everything moved and how some of the characters seemed unrealistic, especially the way they acted. It seemed like one minute, their all good buddies and because of a small misunderstanding, poof! all friendships are gone =.=" And there wasn't enough character development. Sure the few main characters had enough screentime... but the other dancers were shown for a bit and they danced, and that's it. I don't remember hearing some of them talk even.
I would give the movie a 7/10 because of the dancing! :)
