I am looking for three positions to be filled of Literate roleplays. I define literate as 1-3 paragraphs in battle or dialogue based posts (defiantly encourage more if possible), 3-5 paragraphs during non combat or dialogue based posts (as a usual occurrence). Minor errors are fine, if you need to copy and paste your posts into word before submitting or do a spell check that’s fine.

I have 4/6 spots already reserved (4 counting me) so I need 3 other roleplayers who fit this criteria at the most. The roleplay is posted in the private roleplay forums currently (or will be soon).

The world I want very loose made by the players who join. The only rule is that I want their technology to be based upon what would have existed in the middle ages with a fantasy twist of course. Also I plan on allow magic in this world, and other races. When someone uses magic I expect them to get fatigued based on how difficult the spell is and how skillful the character is. Example: starting a fire on some ready prepared kindling with a spell that provides a spark, easy, probably no fatigue or very little. Example: Mending bones, conjuring a fireball, and deflecting attacks; if they all sound hard to do its because they should be. Mending bone (depending upon the bones and how bad it is) should take a lot out of the healer, and the bone should not be healed completely by just a fix. Though if the magic wielder set it up a different way, using a mixture of powders and liquids, some herbs, exetra, and took their time in a secure location to heal their comrade I would expect their exertion to be less (sometimes a lot less). Really the point of that (if you took the time to read it) was to say I want people who will be smart and realistic with the way their character in all aspects. Most would think that’s a given, but I just thought I’d put it in there anyways.

Well if you kept reading through this ramble you made it through test one showing that you can indeed read long posts. -Happy face- you can either post here, PM me, or do both if you have an interest. PM me first before you make a character, so that you can reserve a spot and make sure the spots are not filled.

Also I prefer type one font for roleplaying, quite random to tag at the bottom just thought I’d say it.
Also the people who join must be able to post at least once every 1-3 days, if they need to go somewhere they must PM me and let met know. No posting within three days (three days implying that their character does indeed have the opportunity to act) will be ignored and the story will carry on without them.

Another thing I might have forgotten to add. No pictures for characters, or at least if you must have a picture please be descriptive with appearance anyways. No avatar pictures allowed for character use, sorry. PM me and we shall discuss what should be in your character submission.

Character name: Claire DiMous
Age: 23
Race: Dragonborn
Weapons/Magic ability: A claymore, a flambard and the occasional Guisarme.
Special/Power items: Flash earring, a silver coin specked with glass and quartz. True to its name, produces a flash that is blinding to people in its immediate vicinity. Able to spit fire.
Appearance: Claire's black hair is cropped short, barely reaching her shoulders, too short to be pulled or grabbed at successfully. Her steel gray eyes seem to always be gazing into the distance as she thinks. Her thin lips are always quick to express her emotions. Lightly tanned skin shows underneath the red scales that cover her wiry, barely 5'8" tall frame. She constantly wears a steel chain mail tunic and keeps a sword or two at hand.
Bio: Born as a runt, she was always weaker than her siblings and peers. It was not, however, too harsh a life. Her blasts were slightly smaller and took a long time to replenish her fuels, but they still functioned. Clair was able to excel in her studies while managing to pursue a knight position. Once she became a squire, she earned the name the little "Blood Mouse" since her smaller frame helped her out maneuver the other dragonborns. Ever since she got her shield, Claire started to travel the kingdoms for new experience and a clean slate.
