"This isn't any good" a cool voice said mainly to herself.
"What do you mean?" He asked in an annoyed tone.
"Just look" She said simply. Ignoring her thoughts of how ridiculously stupid the boy she just meet was.
The boy looked at his drawing. It looked fine to him. It was his after all. "I don't get what your seeing. It looks plently good to me."
"So..." She paused letting herself catch a breathe of tolerence. "Look" she said shraply "You came to me for a reason yes? I know whats going to be good and what isn't. " She looked back down his drawing and back up to the boy faces. One of her eyebrows raised and a fake apology smile formed on her lips as she shook her head "no".
The boy drew in a quick breathe and gulped down on a few words he would have normally spew out by now.
"How." He asked with dark eye's.
"Listen, Tristan right? Your drawings are okay. There good enough to get by. But thats the reason why I don't want them. Its also the story to your comic as well. Its been over done. To me its road kill."
Tristan sighed and clenched his hands on his knee's. This women was some bit-
"You either need to find something original and add that to your art, or don't bother coming back to me at all." She leaned back into her chair. "Now if your done wasting my time you can leave now."
Tristan got out of his chair. He knew his story was golden. Why wasn't she giving him this? he deserved this much more than a lot of other mangaka's who have been published.
Slamming the door as he left the women stopped leaning an opened her purse to get her cell phone.
It was viberating the whole time Tristan was in, and she couldn't wait to see who else wanted to waste her time.
"knock knock"
The woman jumped in her set and quickly put her cell phone back into the purse.
"Sorry Jill, didn't mean to scare you." Said her assistant Mr. Wolf
"Dylan, saying knock doesn't count for actually knocking. We've been over this." sighing the last part she got up from her desk and crossed her arms. Having Dylan in was rare, even if he was her assistant she usually only communicated with him over her cell and computer.
"Sorry, sorry." he said cheerfully. They both stood in the room in silence for a little while.
"Well" Jill said, her eye's showing the annoyence she felt.
Dylan tilted his head at her with a blank experssion.
"What do you need from me?" She said sharply
"Oh, yes, yes. Sorry. Again, tehehe." his hands went into his brown buisness suit and pulled out a small book.
"This was in your mailbox in the office early this week and I thought you should get it."
Jill paused. This was unexpected, she didn't usually get mail in the office. In fact she didn't even know she had a mail box in the office.
"Strange" she said to herself
"Whats so strange about you getting mail?" Dylan laughed,
"Hmph. Let me see the book" she said as she streched her arm towards him. Dylan walked across the room and gave it to her.
It was plain, no title and when she opened it the pages were blank.
Jill raised an eyebrow and looked back at Dylan. "Are you sure this is for me?"
"It was in your box" He said simply. watching her with a smile as she questioned the book more. "If you notice there's a symbol at the back."
Jill looked back at Dylan, a little shock.
"Oh don't worry, I didn't go through your mail."
Jill sighed and looked at the back. There was some symbol inside of a circle that was surrounded by Roman numbers. "This is odd" she said again.
Lightly tracing it with her fingures.
Suddenly a light began to shine from the symbols. Jill jumped back closing her eye's from the bright light.
Slwoly opening her eye's she found nothing. Not her room, or her desk, or Dylan. All she could see was white. And all that surrounded her was white.
"Dylan?" She called.
Suddenly she felt like she was falling but being surround by white she couldn't tell.
"Don't worry Jill" Dylans voice boomed. "I didn't send you this book for nothing."
Jill paused. What was going on?!
"Now, what was it that you wanted Mr. Tristan to do with his story? Oh yeah, make it more original. Well" Dylan laughed. "lets hope when he receives this book, that he too will become original."
"Whats going on Dylan?!" Jill screamed
"I don't know Jill, its your stroy."

So yeah thats basically it. Hope it made sense. Tell me what I need to improve on please. :D
and this story is something i'm making into a manga. just adding a little info on what i'm going to be doing with it.

The story is about a publisher who doesn't give people chances and usually looks down at people. Her assisitant wants to be the top publisher at her company and basically wants that control anyway possible. Tristan is a young mangaka who has an unique talent to draw. Jill, the mean publisher gets stuck into an undeveloped story book that tristan will begin to write but later get stuck into the book as well leading it to the next person to create the middle and than another for an ending. Will Jill and the rest of people who get suck into this book get out near the end or will their lifes forever more be a story on a shelf?

So yeah thats basically it. Can someone please tell me what they think about the story, does it need improvement at the intro? More details even? Better names? (lol)

I do think I need to change the names, considering I'm making this into a manga, and I think its should have japaness names. But i'm wondering if it would be if Jill's name gets changed by Tristan when he creates and draws the story into a japaness name. Just thinking.....

I feel sort of lame when no one response.... :(

Maybe I didn't write it out well enough.... :O
Thats probably it!

So anyways. The begining part isn't going to completly be drawn out and told by Tristan who tells the story. he'll draw something and Jill is going to respond to it. Jill has free will in her story which catches Tristan attention, when Tristan gets to a point where he can release jill the curse mark at the end of the book will bring him into the book and onto another writer and artist who are two people that work together in their manga business. the artist gets into a lot of trouble by her author when he ask why she's drawing the story differently. and so on.....

At another point the book gets given to a famous mangaka who writes tragic endings and horror stories so the story itself gets twisted and there's a possiblity that one or more characters could die.

Thats all of my thoughts so far about what I'm doing with this book. Hopefully something will come out of my ideas.
