I dig berserk a lot too. I saw the anime and just had to start the manga. I've read up to volume 7 or so, but have since decided to start buying them instead, which I have the first 4 of. I don't generally buy manga but this is an acception.

Beserk is one of my favorite animes. I haven't read any of the manga though. Well I've read bits and pieces, but nothing substantial. From what little I've seen the manga is much more graphic than the anime, which I didn't really like. Then anime is very graphic, but I think it goes hand and hand with the storyline, so that's okay, nothing extra thrown in just for the heck of it. If that makes since.
