I'm trying to create a logo, and have a base already set up. I want to add text, except, I can't get it to wrap around the logo to make a full circle.

I found this tutorial: [x]
But after trying to follow the first half multiple times, all I can manage is a slight arc in the text.

I'm using photoshop CS3: is there something I'm not understanding, or something I can't figure out how to do right?

If you have any suggestions, it'd be great.
I would really love it if the process was something similar to the tutorial so that I can see what I'm not doing correctly. I understand there are more options, but I haven't found one that's as accurate.

Here are some screenshots of what I'm doing:

I can't get it to wrap any further; the most I get is the slight arc.

Direct me on how to move this text like so:

Do you have Adobe Illustrator, paper crane?
If you do, it's really easy using that programme. I'll put up the instructions in a bit.

Also, I will be moving this to Art Post as it is more a help-based thread as compared to a discussion.

Well, I tried doing this, and mine seemed to wrap fine.
I think it might depend on the font size you use as well. Maybe try a smaller size and see if it can bend more?
Also, it might help if you make the text arch before you do the circle? I'm not entirely sure, but at least this way you can see how much you can bend it yourself without the circle, instead of trying to make it fit.

I also put my text on two different arch layers. One bent 100% and the other bent -100% (or whatever they call it haha.)

i know it's not perfect and the bend isn't aligned very nicely, but it was just a rushed tester.

I do think illustrator would have a better tool for this, I don't have it installed currently, but it's been on my DL list forever. XD

I can try again later today, and if you still can't get it working, I can help you make the logo.

T^T sorry if this doesn't make sense or if it wasn't much help.
