Okay. I've sleepwalked into my parents room before when I was seven and I've never done it again, my sister has talked gibberish in her sleep (there were some horrible poweroutages in saint loius one July and we were sleeping in the living room on the floor and she turned towards me propped herself up with her elbow and "talked" to me. I was so freaked out that I could not go to sleep for about another hour....), but the piece de resistance is that I have had some really realistic dreams and I KNOW that nothing happened in real life, but I could feel it as if it was really happening to me, here they are:
1. I was on a tour of a bra factory and on the production line's floor in the middle of the "room" there were racks of jewel tone bras and one of the other people on the tour with me waited for everyone else to move ahead and then he and I went into the middle of the racks and we had smex. It was soooo creepy. It felt like I really was having smex..... (No, I've never done it. FYI)
2. I was out on a date-type thing with one of my best guy friends and after a while he frenched me. I have never, ever kissed a guy, let alone frenched one and I could feel his tounge and saliva in my mouth.... When I awoke from that one I was all like "what. Did. I. Just. Dream? Plus it was my guy friend and that made my dream really weird cuz I'd never kiss that guy in real life.
3. I had a dream where I was in the mall and another of my best guy friends hugs me and I swear I could feel the pressure of the hug..... It felt reallt nice and made me want to go and hug him..... Even though I detest huggung people..... Even though he'd NEVER let me hug him. (Whenever I try he slips out of my arms... It makes me sad )

The weirdest thing that happened to me in my sleep... hmm... probably when I woke up from a deep sleep because a bug was crawling on me. YUCK! It was worse because I suddenly jolted up... not sure if I was dreaming something weird or not.

Oh and there's the dreams where I thought that bugs ( I've had different bugs in the dreams, spiders, ants, beess, centipedes, etc.) were crawling all over my comforter and I would cower underneath the covers after I'd wake up and it would take me a couple of hours to go back to sleep.
When I was in the girl scouts I had a friend (we're not friends now though) who told me about the time she sleepwalked through her house and attempted to pee on the dishwasher.

Well, regardless of my really whacked out dreams, I talk in my sleep quite a bit. It makes my mom laugh.
I'll flail in bed too. Apparently, I have quite a few dreams/half-conscious musings about falling, so my body will react accordingly. (Flailing around trying to either grab hold of something or fly. Haha. Who knows why we flail when we fall.) It's enough to wake me up.
That only happens before I really hit REM though, or when I'm coming out of it. So it doesn't happen often.

I woke up with my hubby holding his groin one night. I guess he walked by the bed and brushed against my arm or something (I sleep on the edge) and I reacted and kneed him some how.

I have these dreams and I have them frequently when I try to take a nap. In the dream, it felt so real. The minute I close my eyes, and there it is. I can't move, I am completely still in my bed. When I try to move in the dream it's like I'm straining. Like in slow motion. I look down at carpet, and it's darker and rougher than the soft light brown carpet in our house. One time I got up, moved to the door and it was darker in shade too. Then I wake up, I don't know what it means, but it is freaking me out every time I have it.

David Bowie knows many bedtime oddities.
Once, David Bowie awoke to the smell of cat food and an odd noise. As if small cat lips where spitting.
David Bowie was horrified. S/he didn't know what to do, so s/he opened her/his eyes abruptly.
David Bowie then realized, it was his/her cat, kneeding and spitting on her/his old blanket.

For mine... I have a couple. At one point on a camping trip where my mother little sister and I were sharing a cabin I was sleeping on the top bunk and they were sleeping on the one below me. My mom is a classic insomniac, so apparently at one point during the night while she was awake I said something in my sleep. Now this isn't entirely unusual, I have very vivid dreams, but since I sleep by myself most of the time I don't usually have anyone to record them for me. Anyway when I get up in the morning my mom asks me if I was awake... blah blah blah, whole routine. Apparently what I said, (And this is a quote I still use!) is "It's not a matter of masculinity, but of power." Awesome.
Second thing, and this has happened a couple of times. Generally I sleep on my side, but I can wake up in all sorts of strange positions, not so odd. But sometimes I'll wake up on my back, one arm lying on top of the covers and I CANNOT move it. I can't even feel it. Like, I'll poke it and it'll feel like my arm's been shot full of novocaine. This usually wears off in about twenty minutes, but until then I literally cannot move my arm, wrist, fingers and I have no sensation there. My best guess is that it fell asleep and I didn't move all night? But then why doesn't the rest of my body do that? I really have no idea.

Apparently I "sleep-eat".
I remember one day mother found a plate with a half eaten doughnut sitting on it in the cupboard. She then questioned me on how it got there. I never recalled doing that. Same thing happened with a bowl of cereal too. D;
Other times (rarely) I'll get these nightmares where I can't wake up right away. My eyes refuse to open and I can't move. Freaks me out... D":

I was sleeping and I totally forgot one of my friends was coming over that morning (well, I tend to forget she was visiting a lot that year). So my grandpa let her in and she went upstairs to my room, stood there waiting for me to wake up. She said I was rolling over and she thought I was finally waking up after she kept trying to talk to me to wake up.
Giving up, she hugged me and I immediately screamed in her ear and woke up. :D It's been one of our greatest memorable moments.

I won't say it's weird... I'd say it's brutal.
While I was sleeping my twin made me drink lots of laxatives and stuffed lots of needles in one of my pillows...

Uhmm...
A few times a year, I'll have a dream where I'm falling down, and it feels really weird.
And sometimes I'll wake up and end up doing things cats would usually do.
I have no idea if I sleep talk or walk or anything though... I should record myself with my mp3 player. xD

We had a parrot when I was growing up, and one night, that brilliant little devil of a bird managed to unlock her birdcage, hang upside down like a bat, climb down a series of poles onto a cabinet, walk all the way across our huge house, push the crack in my door open wider for her to get through, climbed up my bed by pulling herself up three feet of blanket with her beak, walk across my sleeping body to my chest, then rip out a loud SQWAAAACK as I opened my eyes, and then proceed to bite me on the lip. That bird was kind of awesome. And very startling to wake up to.
A few weeks ago I woke up when I was sick, and I had no idea who my boyfriend was, I didn't recognize him at all. I don't remember this because I was kind of out of it, but I apparently yelled at him and was king of like "Oh my god, who are you? What are you doing here?"....yeah. I fell asleep again, so he didn't have to deal with that for too long, luckily. Kind of funny to hear about later though.

I don't know if anyone else here has ever had this, but it's called sleep paralysis.
Basically, you wake up during a part of REM. During this part of REM, your body is paralysed so you don't act out your dreams (I think). So your brain wakes up from REM, but your body stays asleep. During the time that you're paralysed, a lot of people see hallucinations.
This has happened a few times in my life. Once, I woke up, couldn't move, and there were these black demons with red eyes crawling across my ceiling. They were cackling a lot and I thought they would swoop down and kill me.
Another time, I woke up, couldn't move, and out of the corner of my eye I saw something moving. I moved my eyes to look at it, and there was a man in a black hoodie (his face was shadowed) with a knife in his hand, walking steadily toward me.
A lot of other things have happened in my sleep, too, not just sleep paralysis. Once I was having a dream that I was walking through the woods, and there were these black things running between the trees around me. When I woke up, I was about 12 feet from the woods behind my house. I only woke up because I tripped on a rock. That's the only time I've ever sleep walked...
Another time I had a dream that I found my Sims Deluxe Edition disc. I had been looking for it for months, and hadn't found it. In the morning when I woke up, I looked in the same place it had been in my dream, and found it! I was a very happy girl.
Tons of other things have happened, but I don't want to be writing all day.

According to my husband, I once woke up in the middle of the night during a thunderstorm, sat straight up in bed, said, "Was that thunder just now?" and immediately fell straight back down onto the pillow. I don't remember it at all.
My sister had bruises on her calves whenever we had to share a bed -- I kick, apparently. Husband hasn't complained yet, though.

A lot of times when I sleep I end up waking up naked. Or partially naked, and I know that I go to bed fully clothed... well, most times anyways. It's strange and it makes you kind of take a step back and try to remember exactly what happened.

I had that happen to me too.
Except, mine is reversed somewhat.
I get the nightmares, then wake up and can't move.
I saw a shadowy reflection of Death on my closet doors in one. And the other time I got shot twice by some male figure, whom I couldn't make out the appearance.

I dreamed of killing people with a remote control while dodging gnomes.
I woke up the next morning underneath the Christmas tree. I had walked from my room to the downstairs room in the below freezing weather.
Next day I woke up in the bed next to the tree... which was rolled up because it's a fold away bed... and I put myself in the middle of it without waking up even though it's a struggle to get in there, I know because I liked to do it when I was awake. (It was warm in there thought).
CHRISTMAS TREES MAKE ME SLEEP WALK. ALMOST EVERY TIME. FAKE CHRISTMAS TREES FOR THE WIN.
I do not camp near them. EVER. And if I have do, I don't sleep next to the flap, so that I'll probably walk over the person near it and wake them up before I randomly walk off somewhere and die.
I think I still sleepwalk actually, sometimes. I'm told that I grab statues in my sleep and cling to them and other weird things.

l0l. i have no idea. i'd have to think really hard on that one, but the first thing that came to mind when i read this question was when i was sleeping over at my friends house and i woke up the next morning to her telling me that i kept saying puppies in my sleep. P:
i doubt that's the weirdest thing that's ever happened, but that's all i can think of at the moment.

I woke up once and my whole arm was numb. I could not feel it at all. Getting out of bed like that was a bit of a challenge too. I freaked out I dident know if I would ever be able to use it again. I had to use my other hand to hold it and rub it until I got feeling back & your arms a bit heavy when you cant use it to hold it up =P. It was the weirdest experience.
