I liked it. Sort of. I prefer the manga. But all of the characters in the manga have something about them that I really hate except Isabella. Arashi was nearly my favorite, but then no... and they didn't include it in the anime which is something I don't like because its a major thing.
It was adicting because of the drama, but so much drama that it got knocked down to a "sort of like it."

I only hated the Anime because they made Arashi more favorable. (he wasn't that arrogant as in the Manga.) And that George was completely straight. I thought putting all of Georges problems in one episode (episode 12) was a waste. They should've at least given him 2-3 episodes to share his problems. My friend who watched the anime first (and then the Manga) was soo confused about the whole Kaori story.

(It sucks because I just lost my ParaKiss Vol. 2 anime and Geneon, the anime company who dubbed it, is not even here anymore. xD. Looks like I better go shop to find the second volume since it's not in any of my local movie stores.)

the style of drawing is really pretty too! and it wasn't hard to get through this series~

I didn't like the manga at all when I read it, but my sister loved it. But I watched the anime with a friend and I liked it a lot. I don't know why I disliked the manga so much but liked the anime.

I've started on it, but I really like it. Very gorgeous and very interesting.

I loved watching Paradise Kiss. It was so fantastic. I couldn't believe George! He was so charming!
The artwork style is very unique and very lovely. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves fashion and shojo! :insane:

I've only watched the first DVD of the anime. Hopefully the library gets the rest of it.

I love that series. I haven't been able to get my paws on the manga, but I've watched the anime. Johji, Arashi, and Miwako are my favourites. >w<

Sadly I have only seen the anime, which was gorgeous and amazing. I would read the manga but there are already so many I have to read. How long is it? Cause maybe if it isn't too long I might be able to read it. ^^

I've watched the anime and If I may say if was brilliant. There was so many twist and turns pulse it reminded me alot of Nana which i just adore.I haven't read the manga but it's a the top of my list when I finish Gakuen Alice. If anyone likes paradise kiss I highly recommend Nana it's very good and it's like a anime soap opera.

Sai: It's only 5 volumes long. Shouldn't take too long to get through. :)

One of my favorite Manga-Ka.

Wow. I'm so surprised how well-known Paradise Kiss is.
(I've always considered Paradise Kiss as one of the most underwhelmed series in America, just like Nana.)
I wish the Ai Yazawa craze in Japan would come to America like most of the popular shonens here.

yeah super love it...the first time i watched it in animax chanel it was sooooo cool and awesome. the way the artist it was drawn was amazing and the dress that they dress is soooo detailed and i heard that real designer drawn it. I was sooo like "OMG! there sooo genuis" the color was perfect the drawing was perfect and the everything :angel:. its like there making a huge fashion anime. And George is soo handsome and a good designer but a play boy. Hikari was abit cool to but not like her character much. I like isabella more which is not a girl actually :o she/he is the coolest of all :angel:. and miwako and arashi not much like them too but i reconsider arashi :sweat: his soo good in singing =3. well, thats all i wanna say :angel: so love the dress =3

Ai Yazawa is my favourite manga-ka, and this is most likely my favourite series by her. :heart: The characters are just amazing, every page seems to have the power to make you laugh, cry, or both!

The ending is just magic too, there's something about her endings, they're always so bittersweet, yet perfect...it brought me to tears. :)

The fashion side of it, of course, is just, wow.... It really got me interested in fashion and making my own clothes and such, and the outfits Ai puts together are just fantastic, from Miwako's adorable clothes and the "Happy Berry" (?) line to stunning runway clothes and the dress they designed for the fashion show, and then the punky side of Arashi, which is also shown in her series Nana (which I also love :heart: )

...there's just too much to love. x'D Always going to be a favourite of mine! :D
