I'd be interested in discussing this manga series with anyone else who has read it!!

I got the first 4 volumes for Christmas and I ate them up right away. I'd been eyeing it in the store for a long time, but I wasn't sure if it was quite my thing. So it was an awesome surprise that I liked to sooo much.

Hayate, for all his indecision, is really good main character. And all the people he meets along the way just add to the fun. The only thing I find strange is the talking tiger... Poor Tama seems awfully out of place, no matter how he gets worked into the story. The best part I think is the outside references to other movies/anime/manga/etc. It's fun trying to catch all the jokes.

I know there's currently an anime being shown and it's slated for 52 episodes. I haven't seen it, but I'm curious how well it sticks to the plot of the manga.

I've never read the manga, but I watched one episode of the anime... xD Only one episode, because I didn't like the girl much..she annoyed me, so I stopped. ^^; The guy is pretty cool though, and funny. :] But, I guess you would need a spoiled brat to have the story move along.. xD

I can see why the main character could get annoying very quickly in animated form. She does get better as the story progress and you get to hear more of her backstory.

Well, another reason why I stopped watching it is because there isn't a lot of romance. xDD I'm a big fan of romance anime/mangas, so it's a bit hard for me to find an anime/manga that's interesting without romance... haha~
