Should Inuyasha be with Kikyo or Kagome?

I don't think that either should be with him. Kagome doesn't really belong in his world at all. Kikyo is sort of dead and all that. Either of those things aside, I suppose that Kikyo is the more sensible choice for InuYasha to be with.

I like Kagome and InuYasha. It just seems like InuYasha and Kagome have a better relationship than Kikyo and InuYasha. Besides, Kikyo is a little irriating. :\

It has been a while since I've seen anything of the series, but wasn't the original reason behind InuYasha's interest in Kagome little more than the fact that she did look so very similar to Kikyo? To me, it always seemed liked Kagome was little more than a placeholder, or maybe proxy is the better word, for Kikyo in InuYasha's mind.

The only reason he wants Kagome is because of his love for Kikyou and his mistake.
Really now, he should have never killed her in the first place. :/ He screwed himself over.
But just so you know.. the last chapters of the manga reveal who he ends up with.. :/

I have to say that InuKag is way better than InuKik. Even though Kagome annoys me sometimes, she doesn't try to kill Inuyasha or make more problems in finding the Jewel Shards.

I say Inuyasha should get with Kagome all ready; I mean, how can two people refuse they have feelings for each other for so long?! They're annoying! >3<

AND If Everyone's FORGOTTEN!!! it was Naraku Disguised AS Inu Yasha when Kikyo was Injured. Kikyo THEN found her way to the REAL Inu Yasha who Somehow Manages to Have the Jewel. I find that part Quite Odd... Thus She Bound him to the tree. In other words... t'was NOT Naraku That made it so easy for them to be torn apart, but the fact that Kikyo and Inu Yasha Weren't as in love as they thought!
Kagome would be able to tell the difference between a faker and the Real Inu Yasha.

If everyone's memory serves correct... Kikyo had in a way pleaded for Inu Yasha to use the Jewel to become HUMAN. and from the Second movie we know good and well that Kagome loves him Exactly how he is!

Thus Making Kagome more Deserving of Inu Yasha! HOWEVER that does NOT mean that Inu Yasha is Deserving of Kagome! It's shown and proven time and time again in the anime that when he looks into kagome's eyes... he see's nothing but memories of AND Kikyo herself! Which Is COMPLETELY UNFAIR to Kagome!

I don't think he should be with either of them. Kikiyo is supposed to be dead and Kagome does not belong in that time period. She would be SO cute with Hojo! He's adorable. :P

It's something of a moot point, given that the manga was concluded in June of 2008, but I have to say that I'm not even sure it's fair to compare the two pairings. They both have their place, and after a point it's not as if they were even competing anyways.

Kagome loves Inuyasha, and so does Kikyou... And he loves them both in separate ways. Kikyou was his first love, and this is very important to his character development. She was the first human aside from his mother to show him any sort of compassion, and he was the only man to make her consider giving up her position as a miko and to take on a life as a normal woman. The tragedy that occurred when Naraku pretended to be Inuyasha and betrayed Kikyou set the stage for the entire plot, and also to bring us to Inuyasha as he was when he met Kagome.

When he met Kagome, Inuyasha was harsh, and not only distrustful of humans, but held a dislike for them despite the fact that, as you'd see later, he did have a conscience and an innate desire to do what was right. He in fact disliked Kagome when he first met her, both because of her resemblance to Kikyou and because of her differences from Kikyou.

Kagome allowed Inuyasha to grow and change - Kikyou had her own barriers to deal with, whereas Kagome is a very free and open person with her emotions. He ran back to Kikyou out of guilt, out of love for the person that first showed him kindness aside from his mother, and out of simple love and desire to show her that he didn't hate her, that he did care for her and because it wounded him deeply to know that she thought that he would betray her. His feelings for Kikyou gave him the fire in his heart to defeat Naraku.

And yet for all their love for Inuyasha, Kikyou and Kagome are different. Kikyou wanted Inuyasha to become human through the powers of the Shikon no Tama. Though she gave him that push to accept humanity and grow as a person, fate brought Kagome back from five hundred years in the future to be with Inuyasha, to help him to grow and open up, to support him and to allow him to finally accept that people can be good and loving despite their differences. Kagome gave Inuyasha what he needed to allow him to accept himself, not as a human, not as a demon, but as a person who was both at once. Kikyou has her place, and so does Kagome. There isn't really any need for competition.

Back when I was into the show, I shipped InuyashaKagome. Now that I can't watch it on TV anymore and fanfiction is my only way to get into the universe of the show, I tend to read some of the weirdest ships, most of which have Kagome with someone other than Inuyasha. I'm not sure what I like of the those pairings anymore. It depends who else Kagome can be paired with in the story. As long as Kagome is with someone who treats her well, I don't care who Inuyasha is with.

Note: I haven't watched the show, read one of the mangas, or seen one of the movies in at least 4 years. My opinion is based mostly on the fanfiction I read for the series.

I am a fan of the Inuyasha and Kagome pairing. But I admit there are reasons for the Inuyasha and Kikyo pairing because Kikyo knew Inuyasha first.

Inuyasha did end up with Kagome in the end. She was stuck in modern Japan for three years after Naroku was defeated. Then she managed to get back to the feudal era and married Inuyasha. Kikyo disappeared for good but Kagome managed to save her soul.

Inuyasha should totally be with Kagome! I hate Kikyo. I have never liked her, idk why. She just seems like a bitch. I've seen like almost every episode of Inuyasha and I've watched all of the movies. It is my all-time favorite anime. I'm like obsessed, haha.

I think Kagome, but thats only because I have never liked Kikyo, soo umm yeahhh, I've seen almost every episode of Inuyasha.. Just there is something about Kikyo that bugs me..
