I started to read it in Shojo beat, but then they dropped it or something? Then I started to buy it as it came out. Now I read ahead online because I need to know what happened. I'm a little dissapointed with how the story is turning. I almost dont want to know the end.
its kind of like with Yu Yu Hakusho? at the very end of the anime, I didn't really wanna find out what happened because it just didn't seem right, but you just have to read the end because of all of the investment you've put into it.
I haven't read that far, but I kinda got some indication second-hand that at some point later in the series Yuki loses some of her strength as a firm female lead and starts to act more the damsel in distress? =X
My information may be totally wrong.. but that's depressing if it's true.
I read MeruPuri and i loved the style so i got into Vampire Knight and i fell in love with it. I have a thing for vampires added even more. I love both the manga and the anime. I think they've done a great job with the anime.
My favourite character would be Zero. I love this gloomy type character that he is. And in the anime, his seiyuu made me swoon. XD His voice is just perfect.
My second fave would be Aidou. I think he's cute.
Least favourite character....hmm that's tough, because i liked how the characters got worked out. Maybe that would be Rido. I miss enough information about the man to feel the intensity of Kaname's revenge on him. I mean it's understandable, but i can not touch it. Ugh can't explain.
I love the manga for it's art, the story and the vampire fantasy and Matsuri Hino makes the most gorgeous male characters. RAWR.
I love the pretty art and bishies in Vampire Knight. My favorites are Aidou and Kaname. ^_^
My least favorite... hmm... probably Zero's twin, or Shizuka.
I like it mainly because the story is good. There is a nice amount of suspense in it, enough to make you want to watch the next episode. But I enjoy it especially for the art. I love the character designs, they are all so beautiful. <3
I didn't read the manga though, I watch the anime. I tried reading the manga but I found the pace to be too slow for my taste, so I just sticked with the anime. :3
My favorite character is Heamaster Cross, well because he is FINE! and, he totally kicks a**! My least favorite character is Yuuki. She begus the living crap out of me! I mean, she is always giving Zero her blood and then is all like " oh Kaname! I love you!" I mean, she is so confused in her love life that she can't tell up from down. She doesn't bug me so much after she leaves to live with kaname though.
I like this mangs because it was a refreshing vampire story it was different from the whole silver killing vamp love story. It gave a huge twist on vampire legends and I really liked that!
all the above, plus i read ahead on mangafox.com. I'm completely addicted to the series! On top of that I'm just a sucker for vampire stories in general. I can't wait for the next chapter and I hope the anime continue with another season. There is nothing more irritating than an anime that stops way befor the series is actually complete. Thats the exact reason I no longer like Inuyasha.
Who do you think Yuki Cross should have paired up with? I liked the Kaname and Yuki pairing, but the fact that they were related, however distantly, was almost to close to incest. (I do not mean the brother sister thing, I mean the fact he is a reincarnation of her ancestor) I still love the pairing and the chemistry between the characters.
The pairing with Zero might have worked out if she had not been a vampire.
I loved Vampire Night. Read the Manga && watched the Anime.
My Favorite person from Vampire Knight would totally have to be Zero.
Hmmm. I don't think I exactly had a least favorite. But there were some people on there that I didn't exactly care for.
Who's your favorite character?
Who's your least favorite character?
Why do you enjoy this manga so much?
Do you read it in Shojo Beat, online, own the volumes? Or all of the above?[/QUOTE]
My favorite character was probably Aidou. Such a crazy character. He's so cute, and his seiyuu is Jun Fukuyama (who also did the voice of Lelouch from Code Geass).
Least favorite character would be a little harder to come by. I love them all for several different reasons.
At first I wasn't really a fan of VK because it just didn't get my attention. I'd already read MeruPuri by Matsuri Hino, and I LOVED it! Once I sat down and gave it another try, I really got into it. The anime was pretty good, and I'm trying to get all the volumes now. I started reading it in Shojo Beat but had to go online and finish it since my subscription expired...
Vampire Knight is one of my favorite manga. I don't have a favorite character because I love them all. The series is so addicting that I have read all the series within a week since I didn't want it to end within three days if i don't put them down. Lol.
