I use to be into the series but the chapter numbers kept climbing and I lost track. But I loved the story line and the characters. Ren is definitely my favorite. He really is awesome.

@Cookie: No I don't like Beagle because of that! I didn't even think of Sephiroth when I saw Beagle >.> The guy with the long hair reminds me of Yazoo though...which is why he's my favorite character out of the Vie Ghoul group XD
I like Beagle because he's funny with his psychopathic powers or whatever it's called...he's probably the only one who could see the little Kyoko spirits, and be able to catch them xD

...I really want to know what Kyoko got Ren D:

the story is still going great, even though it has a butt load of chapters, but I finished them all in like a day, it entertained me! XDD
though I hope it doesn't go on for too long, I wanna see kyoko and Ren get together already! GRR!
and if they stop the manga where she doesn't go with anybody and/or doesn't find out that Ren is Corn, I will be so mad and sad! >.<

(anime was good too, I just wish it was one of those that ended differently with a good ending than the manga, instead of those anime where it stops at a good part and says that you have to read the manga to find out what happens next XP)

I totally love Skip Beat to death. The storyline is hilarious and Kyoko is totally awesome! Hmm...I'm considering on making a love me section uniform for Halloween and wearing it to class to see how people react. :insane: I'd probably stand out like an eye sore. Blinding!!!:sweat:

HA HA! I was thinking about making a skip beat cosplay, but i was thinking of being a Version of Ren during Sho's video......I've seen some art of it and I loved them! ^^

I love this seris, but have yet to read it all...plus I haven't had much time to find the rest of it, so its been a while since I last read it...

This is seriously the only girly manga I read. It is soooo funny and I the anime is just as good as the manga which just makes it even better!

i love how detailed everything is and i can really tune into the main character's emotions
whenever she's happy i'll feel happy and whenever she's sad i'll feel sad
not many manga can make me feel like this. when the main character is sad or mad i just get angry at how annoying the main character is being ^^;;

haha i love skip beat. i only have a few friends who read mangas or watch animes. but sadly, since they moved 2 go 2 different colleges, we dont keep in touch as often. so i loooove how there r so many fans of this manga/anime here!! :D i love both the anime and the manga. but to me the mangas r alwayz soooo much better ! the only thing i would wish for is that the chapters be released sooner! :( im not a very patient person when it comes to things like this lol.

i actually came across this series just this week when my 13 year old cousin brought home the first volume from a book fair... and so i had nothing better to do and decided to read it since i had heard of it before...
and 'skip beat' is one of the few mangas that actually makes me laugh out loud... i have read 'tokyo crazy paradise' by the same author and it became one of my faves... i just wish i had started reading 'skip beat' sooner...
like some others have said, the chibi's are so cute :heart: and the story line is just kinda 'there' doing its own thing, but i am so excited to read more of it... i'm on chapter 50 now... about 100 to go... must get reading

I love Skip Beat, I've been keeping up with the chapters every month :) I have also watched the first season of the anime, well episode 25, I hope they continue to create more episodes. The anime really kept up with the manga, and that is one thing I look for when switching from the manga to the anime. P.S. REN is bloody awesome!!!

I've only watched the anime and hadn't read the mangas, but I just love it lol the reactions are so funny XD

i've made it to chapter 93... and still chugging along nicely, but i just thought of something...
i am simultaneously reading 'pride and prejudice' for the first time and it occurred to me how very similar 'skip beat' is to it... the 2 don't like each other at all to begin with, then the 'he' starts to notice the 'she', and so on... i haven't read all of either so i can't say that it's all like that, but has anyone read (or is reading) both?

It's super cute~ I love it <3
