Just wondering if anyone else has seen this anime/read this manga~

Personally, I've been wanting to pick up the manga for a while now, but never got around to it. I recently got my hands on the series (and its many sequels) and am making my way through them now.

I have to say, although a lot of the jokes elude me, I really like it! Just for the absurdity if nothing else. I can't help but laugh at the pessimistic views on society and the macabre jokes and the oddly placed pop culture references. I love that it pokes fun at everything. So yeah! I'm enjoying it muchly~ ^^

What about you all? Seen it? Like it? Confused by it? Never seen it before or heard of it? Discuss! 8D

Didn't the manga just recently come out some time in 2009? I've seen a few episodes of this anime, and I really liked it. But I'm not an anime person so I waited for the manga to come out. Unfortunately I've been unable to get my hands on a copy.

I believe you're right. I think the manga came out earlier this year, like in February or something close to that. There are three volumes out now, if I'm not mistaken, and the fourth should be coming out near the end of this month. I've flipped through the first two, and enjoyed what I saw (the art style is so refreshingly simple, imo), but I never actually read them. After watching most of the anime, I'm convinced that I must. XD;

I bought the first volume of the manga earlier this year (I want to buy the other ones though).

I still need to finish watching Zan... ; 3;

Well, I'm going shopping on Wednesday (because I have off! XD), and I'm sure I'll pick up a copy, so I'll tell you how it is!

I've got the entirety of the anime and watched it through a couple times! I absolutely love it and while a few of the jokes evade me too it really keeps me amused! =D
