I already got my seasonal shots Arsenic. I am going to get my H1N1 soon. They do hurt for a little while but it goes away =3

shots hurt? really? I've had em just about every where (to include my butt) and never had pain....

i hate getting shots. i don't like the needles.

@ arsenic: oh yeah, you said you were getting your gardisil shot huh? that one is the worst. other than that i don't mind needles too much

I guess its just how pain tolerant you are Yamiko. They really don't bother me at all.

I remember getting shots with my bros when I was little I was the only one who didn't freak.... the doc thought I was weird cause I'd watch..... I also watch when my blood gets drawn....

I never get shots anymore these days. The last set I got was in like 2002 I think, when I entered High School.

Edit: Also, I'm sorry if I don't respond much. I'm creating a fan fiction list for my friend and have to hunt the stories down so I can link them.

I have to get shots regularly as a part of my job, every year now I'll get flumist up my nose, it's annoying -.- I'll probably be required to get the H1N1 shot too

if you have to get shots/ blood drawn a lot it starts to not bother you much...sometimes it also depends on who is doing it, some people make it hurt less

What is your job? And what is flumist?
The only thing like that I ever had to do for a job was getting tested for TB or something like that. I refuse to get the H1N1 shot, I don't trust new meds.

I'm military, flumist is the flu vaccine that they force up yer nose, it's cheaper I guess, and if they require it then I can't refuse it

I don't donate blood. I'd pass out if I lost that much blood at once. Plus, I don't think they want people who have had mono before. Donating plasma was a big thing around here...you'd get paid up to $200 bucks a month...but it left a lot of scar tissue.

i would probably pass out to if i gave blood.

I've had mono and they don't care, the reason you pass out is low iron content which they check before hand, if it's too low they won't draw blood.

I don't mind the flumist, it just gives me a runny nose for an hour or so, but most people will get sick for a day or so, people who have extreme reactions can get the shot

the reason i have never given blood is because i have fainted before. i happens like once a year and the doctors have no idea why.

you might have a very mild case of anemia, it'd probably stop if you took an iron supplement daily

Shots aren't that bad when you get them.
Just when you think about them beforehand always freaks me out.
Because people always tell me their stories of how the nurses stick the needles deep and all that crazy stuff.
