Mikayla clenched her jaw. "Yes, I do. I am Mrs. Elenn, I teach Tactics. May I come in to speak with you for a moment?"

Amaya went over in her head if she had tactics this semester and since she couldn’t remember she silently prayed she didn’t. She was confused as to what she did though…did someone find out about her skipping the assembly? Was she really going to get in trouble for that? Moving out of the door way she let the older woman in. “of course, um…did I do something wrong already?”

Mikayla brushed the question aside as if it were of no importance to her. Which, truthfully, it wasn't. Her orange eyes flickered around the dorm room, bouncing off the difference pieces of furniture. The decorator did a terrible job. Mikayla would have to speak with Reanna or Maya about that.
Turning back towards the student, who was watching her with wide, wondering eyes, she indicated with her hand to the seating area. "Sit down." She said. Her voice was calm and level, yet there was that firm tone of order that told whoever she was speaking with that she meant business. "We have much to discuss about your orders from his Majesty, King Dylen."

"Oooohhh I get it." Leilah laid back and strectched her body. She let a rather large yawn. Leilah was trying to digest evrything that Kass had just told her. She had to protect, no, be a guardian to three other kids. "Damn" she groaned completely ignoring her teacher.
"Do I have to? No scratch that."
Leilah switched positions so her stomach on the bed. She plastered a smirk on her face and thought to herself, 'maybe I should toy with the teacher a bit, I am kind of bored after that story.'
"~I. Don't. Wanna~" She sang in an annoying voice, then to rub it in even more she stuck out her tongue.

Amaya dropped into the chair, her back stiff as she tried to bring up all the things her mother had ever tried to teach her about good posture. “Yes Ma’am” Her hands sat in her lap fingers worrying each other. She didn’t even know this teachers name…and the older demon hadn’t mentioned her yet. Maybe she wasn’t in trouble maybe the woman in front of her had gotten the wrong door.

"You don't want to?" Kass asked, repeating the words of the girl. Her lips curved into a wiry smile. This chick had guts, that was for sure. Maybe she wasn't as bad as she seemed. "Believe me, chicky-o, you'll wanna do what the King says or pinky will kick your scrawny ass. You do not want that to happen."
-----
Mikayla raised a single eyebrow. Amaya's posture wasn't half bad. "Square your shoulders a little more." She said softly. "It helps strain the muscles and gives a more 'nobel' appearance." Maybe the girl wasn't as irresponsible and immature as she thought...
"Now, your mission..."
(Can you just read the explanation in my post to kandii_k please? It's too long to type again, haha. It's the post fourth from the top in red.)
After she finished talking, Mikayla placed her hands together over her lap and watched Amaya's reaction.

She did as she was told and listened to the woman explain the reason for her visit. Crystals to amp up power, a dark lord, and a bunch of kids had to go find them. If the woman in front of her hadn’t said all of that with a straight face she would probably be looking for the hidden camera. It all sounded to out there to be real, like something out of a cheesy anime. “ Um…can I ask why you would risk students for this and not fully grown demons.” It seemed like a valid question to ask, she just hopped she wasn’t stepping over any lines.

"Pinky? And did anyone ever tel you that violence is not the answer?" Leilah was trying to think of all the ways she could use leverage to get some kind of encentive out of this whole babysitting gig. She didn't come here to protect. She was coming here to get away from her insane family and catch some z's.
"Sigh. I guess sooo~. But if I go, you have to apologize to your ppor father. He's probaly miserable with a mean daughter like you." Leilah actually wished she could have a relationship like Kass and Timmothy. Her father and her they weren't exactly the best of friends. He was a cruel, selfish, and miserable old man. Leilah's mind was swimming with memories of her dad. She subconciously touched a scar on her back. It wasn't until she caught her face in the reflectioin of the window that she went back to her happy-go-lucky self. She had only been dazed for a second. She didn't think that the teacher was even payin much attention to her so she wasn't worried.

Mikayla paused, trying to word her phrase as carefully and insult-free as she could. "Honestly, we're not really sure if that's the truth or not... the King is rather..." Air-headed, useless, cowardly... Mikayla could list off many words that the king was, but alas, she could say none of it aloud. "Vague. What he tells us is usually only a small bit of the whole story. I'm sure the reason he chose you and the others instead of us, well trained, ready to fight, demons who have been under his command our whole lives because we enjoy going onto the battlefield and fighting for our kind..."
Her voice began to trail off as her voice grew angrier with each word. She didn't understand why King Dylen was sending out mere children either. She wanted to go out and fight. She wanted to feel that rush of adrenaline she had once experienced so long ago. Why was he being so reckless and idiotic, sending out little kids? She closed her eyes, realizing she was losing control of her rage. Thankfully, she caught herself and she returned to her stoic expression, not wanting to show her true personality to Amaya.
"You have two weeks to train," Mikayla said as she stood from her seat. "I expect you to do your best. Do you have any other questions?"
-----
"What?" Was all Kass managed to splutter out. "Be... nice to him? What the hell for? You don't even know who he is or what he's like. Don't start telling me to be nice to him!"
She sat there and contemplated on Leilah's words. She wouldn't do it unless she was nicer to Tim. That wasn't possible! Even if she was it wouldn't make a difference. Charlie would still be a total jerk to him as well. Everyone who didn't like him would!
Hesitantly, and extremely reluctantly, Kass mumbled her answer. "Fine." She said through gritted teeth. "Whatever. Can't believe I'm making a deal with a kid... You're probably half my age!"

Two weeks didn’t sound like that long of a time to train and did she have any other questions? Well of course she did. Like why her? She had hardly had any interaction with other demons before and now she had to go off and fight them. She was a doppelganger, a frickin shape sifter what she was good at was maybe spy work or blending in not fighting. She wanted to scream all of this to the stoic demon in front of her, but she had a feeling it would do her no good. “When will I know who else has been chosen?”
She briefly wondered if it was sad how quickly she was accepting all this. Was she going to see her dad before she left? Oh God her father, what was he going to say. She knew he wasn’t going to agree with this.

Leilah flashed a toothy grim "I'm 18. Thought I've been told that I resemble a 20 year old. But I'm really happy that you'll atleast try. A family shouldn't been nasty to one another. You might regret once they're gone."
A sad smle graced Leilah pink lips. She was about to say something else until she hear a knock on the door. She got up and saw that all her suitcases were there but whoever delivered it was gone. 'It was someone from the house.' She thought to herself. The 'help' weren't the talkative type. There's a special thanks to her father for that.
"Atleast I have my clothes now."
She dug in the first suitcase until she found a white and black dress and knee high boots. She dressed infront of Kass like she wasn't even there.
" So when do we get ready to leave." She asked as she laced up the front of her dress.

Luna smile, "Exactly. One day I'll be sent to the human world to take souls. Here, I'll show you." She ran out of the cafeteria and back out into the courtyard. She waited for Rei to follow then nodded. "Watch carefully now." She dug in her pocket for what looked like a tiny, hand held scythe. She carefully recited her chant: "In the house of sun and moon, the ninth hour beckons, servants of the other world heed my call, fulfill your contract here and now!" Instantly her body was engulfed by violet shadows, as was Marcus. When the light faded, she was in her reaping gear and grinning madly.
[OOC: Ok so for Marcus' reaper mode thing something like this only with black angelic wings.
Now for Luna: Her hair is longer, just past her shoulder blades and her eyes turn black. She wears tall boots that come up just past her knees and their black with gold trim. Her clothing consists of black vinyl hot shorts, a close fitting black corset with gold trim, and a cape. (think kinda like the peacock scythe cape). Her scythe is much, much bigger and looks something like this. I'll try and drawn a picture if i can lol sorry for all the additional comments but I hope it helps!]

Mikayla paused. The other students... Did it matter when she was told? No, King Dylen hadn't given any specifics over the matter. "The ones you will guard with are Kaida Reiryuu and Leilah Sullivan. The three students who are locating the crystals are younger. Two girls named Luna and Regora Janquell, and a boy, Rei Robertson. You may speak with the other guardians, but refrain from speaking of this matter with the locators. The King wishes to speak about it with them personally when the time comes." Just then, the ding of the announcements began, cutting through the buildings and fields of the school.
-----
"All staff to the King's office. I repeat, all staff to the King's office."
-----
Kass glanced up at the ceiling. A meeting in the kings office? What for? She sighed. More work, probably. Maybe he would start explaining all the little loop holes he kept creating. It was the first day of the school year, dammit. What's with him piling all these orders on them and stressing out students?
Pushing herself out of the comfy chair, Kass gave Leilah a look as she started dressing. Seeing a naked girl--or woman, as Leilah would be called thanks to her age--didn't faze Kass at all. It simply worried her about how comfortable the teen was wandering around naked. Especially after seeing the whole scene with Tim.
Kass shook her head. Leilah, finished dressing, turned and asked her about when they started. "You're in the eighteen plus classes, so your training will naturally be harder. That'll help with that, but I suspect you'll want to train on your own time in the field too. We've got a guy here, Oliver Saara. He's the guy you need to talk to for that. He'll help with your training."
She wrinkled her nose. "And try not to go naked in front of him. He's not a perv or anything, but seeing a girls body makes him... jealous... in a sense..." When she got a confused look, Kass simply waved her hand to brush the subject aside. "Anyways, I have to go. Staff meeting." No clue why... She thought bitterly. "Good luck with training." She said, and those being her final words she stalked out of Leilah's room and down the dorm stairs to the second floor of the school where the King sat, waiting.
-----
{The pictures aren't working, sorry. Or at least, not for me... :(}
Rei stared in awe at Luna's transformation. "Wow..." He breathed. He had never seen anything like that. The only thing remotely close would be when he once witnessed Lady Reanna grow so angry it seemed as if she had become an entirely different entity. That was not a good day for anyone.
"My mother..." He said softly. "I've heard she and the others of her race can also transform... Although theirs is much different..." His voice became quieter and sad. He lowered his gaze to the ground as he admitted the next part. "I've never witnessed it myself... and I cannot do it, due to only being part of her species..."
Just as soon as his sadness has arrived it was gone. He tried his best to put on a smile. "Your powers are marvelous." He complimented. "Is the scythe the source of your energy?"

[OOC: whoops... fixed it!!!]
Luna smiled, "In a way yes, our energies are shared. With this I am able to harness many, unearthly powers... but if something were to happen to it I would begin to deteriorate until it was repaired. But It would be a most difficult task to damage my weapon." Luna lowered the scythe till the tip of the blade touched the ground. Instantly the patch it touch turned brown. "To touch this blade without reaper blood is call instant death on yourself." She shook her head. "Transformation is neat, but it's not everything. I'm sure you've got some great abilities. That's why you're here, right?" Luna tilted her head and Marcus imitated her just to be funny.

Amaya stayed sitting on her bed long after the teacher had left. She figured she should find these two other guardians and train with them. She may not know the first thing about fighting but she did know it was easier to work as a team if you practiced together. She had already met one of them, Kaida, now all she need to do was find the other. The thing was she didn't know if she could stand at the moment. She had just gotten told that she would be defending three other teen while they hunted for some mystical dean crystals.' It was only today that I ever talked to another demon outside my family.' It couldn't be help, she knew it was after all an order from the king. ' But I'm only 16' She was sure that the others would be older and stronger than her. " Can kings make mistakes?" she asked the empty room.

Leilah watched as Kass left the room with an irritated look on her face.
"I want to take a nap but... I want to see the rest of the campus, and then there is finding that Oliver guy, and I kind of want to harass Timothy again." She sighed as she weighed her options. Three of consisted of her leaving her dorm room.
"I can always nap outside if I get tired." She picked up the a small key that was place on the table by the door. Leilah smirked as she walked down the hallway. One could only wonder what the mischevious kitty was thinking.

Rei opened his mouth to say the truth. Yes, he had demonic abilities. But nothing spectacular. He had the same traits as all the people in his father's demon race. When it came to his mother's side there was... Nothing. His strength and flexibility, maybe, but the true reason he was enrolled in RY Academy was simply because his parents had been hired as teachers there. If they didn't take the jobs, he would have stayed underground.
Instead of admitting this to Luna, however, he simply smiled again and said quietly. "Yes... I suppose you're right."
-----
Inside King Dylen's office stood all the staff members at the school. There were quite a few, and although they were from different races, each of them had met at least once and were rather friendly with one another.
Well, as friendly as they could get.
As Dylen stepped into the room nobody noticed he was there for a bit. They were all grouped together, much like how teenagers did in the hallways, talking quietly amongst themselves. When Maya Zaquarei, a small Esquare (lizard/snake-like demon), looked up and caught his eye she stretched her head up and called over all the chatter, "The King is here."
No matter how many years he had ruled, nor how many times it happened, Dylen never got used to seeing people bow at his presence. It was strange, yet he gained a sense of power from it. But he also felt guilt. Guilty that demons as powerful as the ones in the room had to succumb to their knees every time he passed by. If he was in their position he would hate it.
"Welcome." He said in his soft voice. "Please, have a seat--" he closed his eyes. No, he couldn't say that since there weren't enough chairs in the room.
From beside the window on the right side of the room, Kass Matthews smirked wolfishly. "Bad habits are hard to break, eh?"
Leaning against his desk at the back of the room, Reanna narrowed her eyes at the blonde supervisor. "Watch yer mouth, Matthews." She growled.
Kass arched an eyebrow, sneering. "Whatcha gonna do about it, Pinky?"
"Very original."
"Hey, hey, hey!" Silvia Obar, a woman who looked exactly like Kass only twenty years older, stepped up between them and raised her hands. "No need for childish banter, ladies. Let's keep it nice and cool in here."
Reanna snorted and Kass just scoffed. Neither said anything after that though.
Dylen passed his pink haired friend a thankful look, one she returned with a simple bland stare. "Yes... um..." Automatically he switched into speech mode, and he glided over to his desk to stand between Reanna and Terry. They were his pillars, his comfort. Especially when the room had so many people in there watching his every move. "I must apologize for... not appearing at the assembly yesterday. It was very... tardy of me."
In the mini crowd Charlie Matthews made a low hum in the back of her throat, almost of glee. Beside her, Oliver Sarra nudged her with his elbow, silently telling her to 'shut the eff up' in a father-like way.
"I called you here today to... um..." Dylen glanced left and right at his friends for their reassurance. He got the only response he could expect. A wink and smile from Terry and a hard glare from Reanna. "Discuss the... Plan... Lady Elenn," he motioned with his hand towards the tall, beautiful woman, "Lady Matthews--" he paused, as there were two in the room and glanced at Kass directly, "Share what the students you spoke to said."
Mikayla stepped forwards without even bothering to be polite. "Your majesty." She bowed. "My target, Amaya, accepted the mission easily enough, but she questioned the motive and reason." Which I agree with. Mikayla thought bitterly. She hadn't forgiven the King for selfishly putting the students in the battle and not her.
"So she has accepted?"
"Yes, sir."
"Good." Dylen looked to Kass. "And what has your target said?"
"Agreed." Kass crossed her arms over her chest. "Not that she wanted to..."
Dylen nodded. He glanced around the room once, then twice, and finally after a third scan he realized something. "Where is Lady Waters?"
-----
Wave Waters picked at the underneath of her nails as she climbed the stairs to the second story of the girls dorm. Why the king made her of all people go after some little kid was way out of her league of understanding.
Stepping up to the front door of apartment number 4, she knocked briskly with her knuckles. The rapping was loud, and while she waited she returned to playing with her long, blue tinted fingers. Beauty was something you had to work for, afterall.

Luna smiled and sealed her powers again. Once she was back to normal she approached Rei. "I have these powers only because of my Lady. She trained me.. it was brutal... and I almost died many times. There are scars on my soul that I can never let go of... though I wish I could. But that's the price I paid to earn these talents. Some are just born with it... others must earn it." She shook her head. "Sometime, you'll have to show me your gifts... and you can see more of mine." She smiled.

Leilah was hanging from a tree branch as she watched some of the students converse. She was wondering about the kids she was going to 'guard'.
Screw guarding I'm a bonified babysitter. She thought bitterly. Leilah was nervous and anxious about beginning her training. She was wondering about her teachers and her peers. She was wondering if all of the tough training she was going to recieve would help her with her transformation problems. Leilah gracefull leaped off of the tree branch. Her sudden movement scared a few students passing by. She began walking around again swishing her tail as she went.
((hey wuts up with the sudden lack of posting?))
